A flag represents a country, it's beliefs, it's laws, and everything that country does. So burning a flag says a lot. It says that you hate this country so much that you would like to denounce it and everything it stands for. So then comes the question of "WHY ARE YOU HERE", if you are here to enjoy the benefits of this country but turn your back and $hit on it when things get tough, then go somewhere else.

I just want to add that by burning the US flag they are even disagreing with the Constitution that gives them the right of free speech. So, they have taken it way too far and something should be done, because how far will they or someone else takes it next time?

I see no possitive side whatsoever. You can't tell me that instead of lets say 50,000 people 10,000 people died and then it's not as bad. NOBODY should have died. So don't go around saying it's not so bad. I was listening to radio talk show and a school teacher called, she was saying that her student walked up to her and was telling her that his father (arabic by the way) was saying how it's ok that so many American lifes were lost because their families are getting money for it. Don't downplay peoples deaths in any way, you are in Switzerland so I know you don't really care, but don't come here and post that it's not as bad.

Saying something is one thing. Being opposed to some US law or speaking out in disagreement with some decission, but burning US flag is a whole other story. IF you burn US flag you are desicrating this counry and the flag stands for EVERYTHING this country is. So by burning the flag then you are declaring that you are against the whole of the US not just it's foreign policies. I say get the hell out of here and go somewhere else instead of enjoying the benefits this country provides but then when this country needs you, you say that it sucks and burn it's flag.

I think SC said some time way back that BCM will not run on Linux and he is not planning on converting it, or maybe it was Macintosh, or maybe I just dreamed it all up. But seriously, I think he said it won't run on Linux.

All of the terrorists groups need to be found and destroyed, or at least as many as we can find and desroy. That means that after Afganistan there will be some other middle eastern country. It's no use just getting osama (don't even want to type his name with first letter uppercase). What I am worrying about is if we get him too soon then the people will start saying "Ok, we got him, what are we still doing in middle east". So that's why I think we need to set the stage, say if you will not give up your terrorists and destroy their camps your country will be destroyed. If they don't comply, nuke thier country and then move on to the next middle eastern country with the same proposition. Less time, less American and other allied country life wasted while all the terrorists and other scum that supports them and hates the civilized governments will die.

There's peace demonstrators here in SF too. I have only one thing to say, it's good that they are all demonstrating because that way we know who they are. When it gets to be too much all of them should be thrown out of this country like there is no tomorow, 24 hour notice, pack your things, put your ass on a boat and send you to some place like Afghanistan where you will learn and beg to come back if you are alive.

Another question. If I play EP2 and this card doesn't support dx8, is it not going to start at all or what would the indication be? Some graphical glitches or just the same anomalies as with voodoo3?

I did go to www.diamondmm.com website. That's where I got those latest 95103 drivers. The readme file for those drivers has no mention of DX8. Then I e-mailed the Diamond support with the questoin if my card supports Dx8 or not, haven't gotten an answer though. So I thought I would come here, maybe get an answer quicker. Anyway, since nobody in the beta has that card I will post the anwer when I get the e-mailed back from Diamond support. That way all the other people who might have the same card will know if it supports Dx8 or not. If it doesn't then I guess I will have to get GF3 before the price drops. Either way thanks for all the replies.

Ok, I got this card from a buddy instead of buying GF3 (waiting for it to drop a little). So I was wondering how do I know if it supports DX8 or not. I went on their official website, downloaded the latest drivers (95103), but all it talks about is DX7. So the reason I am concerned is I played some of my other games on it and some graphics look better then they did on voodoo3 but some look a little worse, overall I would say it has improved, but since some things have gone wrong (nothing major, just some graphical glitches here and there) I was wondering how this card would work with BCM. Also can somone explain to me how the whole chipset, manufacturer video card name works. I mean I went to the store and saw GF3 card, different manufacturers, and the whole chipset thing like Nvidia and then all the different names under that chipset that I am getting confused. Ok, that has got me interested. Got this questions 1. Is it good for games, all of them, old and new. 2. If I understood correctly it recognizes your system components and installs and updates the latest drivers for them when you log onto the internet? 3. How much ram/system resources it eats up to run smothly and still leave enough for games? 4. How much is it?

What's wrong with being strict and setting rules? How easy is that, you follow the rules everything is fine, you miss something and ask something that has been asked a gazillion times before, yeah you will be spanked but hey, you will still get guidance, it's when you start getting your attitude out of check is when things start happening. So I like it in this forums, I get a piece of mind, answers if I want to know something, help, and a few laughs.

Wolferz I didn't disagree with you, I was just trying to help. But check this out, I found this out yesterday. Let's say you want to fine tune an engine, like increase the manifold pressure from 38" to 40" or something and from view F5 you can see the instruments and the boosters levers but instruments are kinda far so it's hard to tell if it's 40" exactly. So what you do is press the left mouse button on the lever for whichever engine you want to change setting in, hold it down and change view to F6 (the instrument panel for engies) then with the mouse button held down move it up and down like you are moving the lever and you actually are. That way you can fine tune all of them for the precise indications you want. But yeah, the sim could have been more but right now it's the best bomber sim out there, do you think anyone will attempt to make a WW2 bomber flying sim and make it a real SIM rather then some arcade or half sim game?

Jaguar is right. If you want a tank you should be able to buy one, but I would say go through all the checks including you mental health first. If I have the money to have a tank in my back yard and am trained and know how to use it then why not. I mean if I want to kill someone, I can do it with sticks, stones, knifes, pens, pencils, hands, rullers, forks pretty much anything, but if I passed all the checks and deemed mentally stable I probably would be the safest person to own that tank or gun. So it's rediculous for someone to tell me that I can't own a gun but I go out to San Francisco for the evening out and might get mugged. I did got out there once, about 2 years ago. Well my car was towed and I needed to get to that place to pick it up with my buddies at 2 in the morning but we all came on my car so we had no way to get there. No cab would agree to go there either because it was a bad neigbourhood so we stopped a cop and actually had him convince a cab driver to drive us there. Now that says a lot. It's V2.0 patch. Here's the things I have run into that you have described. 1. Terrain yes, it still stuters. Enemy fighters all fly pretty good, no stuttering. 2. I was in a bomber formation and a group of enemy fighters attacked us. We shot them all down and none of them crashed into any of our planes. They were doing this pretty cool menuevers and fly bys. War pretty nice actually. Try upping the enemy fighter level in your options. See if that does anything. 3. Turrets graphics are nice. You can see the tracers and they never stutered on me. All smooth. That's how I actually helped shoot down one of the enemy fighters in the situation I described in #2. 4. Map waypoints are easy to set. Just drag, drop and set altitude. You can zoom in, out and tilt the map. Maybe you are having problems with your navigator following them. Try navigating and updating you planes position manually and by pilotage, he might not be experienced enough. 5. True. I have run into problems with sharp turns while in formation. I think they made the flight model for B17 way too manueverable and responsive. Aceleration is the only thing I like, you actually notice the gap between when you cram in the power and when the plane starts catching up with it. 6. See #5. 7. Don't know, havent tried that. 8. Yeah, that's true. I usually do that in outside view. 9. Instruments I actually liked. Try going into the pilots instruments view, and then pressing F5, F6, F7, F8, F9 for all the instruments views. They all work. The problem you might have is if you run the game in 16bbp, then they are pretty much unreadable. If you run in 32bbp then it's just amazing. I don't know what you mean by saing that some are missing. If you mean something like an ADF or radio stack or something then yes, but all the engine, and you relevant ac systems are there. 10. That's true. I usually let the autopilot land just because of that.
