LMAO! So that┬┤s where the Talibans have been hiding, at the Olympics! No wonder nobody could find them in Afghanistan.
-
LOL! That┬┤s funny, thanks man. I agree Menchise, I expected to read something like that. It had to come up sooner or later.

Here are some nVidia drivers. I think 27.42 is the one to recommmend.

Yes, you're right. But this was a nice loophole.

I was reading VCF: quote:You can no longer assign prisoners. This prevents you from doing silly things such as beaming them down to a planet or ordering them about the ship as personnel.Just the fact that you can do silly things like that adds to the gameplay. I have to have someone to punish when my shuttle gets stolen. When I forget to shut down launch control, and I loose a shuttle/fighter my head turns red, and something is about to blow. At such a critical moments it is good to know, that you have one or two unfriendly personnel, locked down in the dungeons, waiting to get beamed down on the next planet. Ah.. and that saves the day. Sorry, if this is the wrong place to post this. [ 03-02-2002, 16:15: Message edited by: Has ]

Not interested in playing space-sim if you can┬┤t leave your craft or enter a planet. BCM offers a gameplay that Freelancer can┬┤t compete with, at least for those who have played BCM, there will be something missing in Freelancer. But that just me talking.

Thanks SC for your great work, and to you Blerm, I was about 26min to dl (ok on a 56K). btw, E5, how long did it take to dl on this speed.

For 256kb ADSL connection we pay around £35 /57euros per month, no phone bill, free download up to 1GB. Then there are cheaper offers, and more expensive 512kb,1024kb... I don´t have ADSL myself, but my friend has 256kb, it takes about 30secs to d/l 1mb, is that average or what on a 256kb?

Hate them. Quebec has French all over, all smoking, everywhere, speaking French, with accents. BURN!!!Hope you┬┤re joking. This comment is very offensive. You should at least explain what you mean by this. btw, congratulations Canada, 50 years? About time! [ 02-25-2002, 10:43: Message edited by: Has ]

Feel better now. Thanks.

Everything you write goes through my 56K, and it is sensitive for that kind of comment. It might not work next time I try to connect, or worse it might connect it self to the surround speakers and give it to me in Dolby stereo!!

Regarding Spider-man saved game. Tried it 3 times, by the book. First two was ok, but CTD when shuttles RTB (they were in space). Tried it without leaving tacops, no CTD. [ 02-20-2002, 23:07: Message edited by: Has ]

Hope they know the way to the Indian Ocean. Make a wrong turn or "map reading error", they┬┤ll invade my humble little innocent, armyless country.

starstations -- too weak? or cloaking device/PAD too powerful?

What have you guys done? Who┬┤s responsible? 2500 units per shot, ouch, that┬┤s gonna hurt. Never wake up a giant, unless you can put him back to sleep.(with a minimum damage, but that┬┤s too late) -
Yes, good review, though 75% is not high enough when considering the gameplay this game offers.

LMAO!! This is unbelievable!!??

The benchmarks at Anandtech are impressive. My GF3 64MB is just an average. Man, no matter if you buy the best today, you┬┤ll be behind tomorrow. I installed driver 27.20 few days ago, and no problems with BCM.

I miss my old Sinclair Spectrum ZX with 48kb memory. Now that was a computer! Not those overheating ba***rds nowadays, destroying the ozone layer, destroying the rain forrest, polluting the ocean, and ..., and... ahem.. uh, sorry, got a bit carried away there. It┬┤s just, you could do so much with it, connect it to the TV, play games, using that rubber keyboard... ah, those were the days, (floating above the clouds...,dreaming...).

quote:Originally posted by Tac: Did you read the article? Hehe. "This is the time of year when we think back to the very first Christmas, when the Three Wise Men -- Gaspar, Balthasar and Herb -- went to see the baby Jesus, and, according to the Book of Matthew, ``presented unto Him gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh.'' These are simple words, but if we analyze them carefully, we discover an important, yet often-overlooked, theological fact: There is no mention of wrapping paper. Who could argue against that? Not us men, but women have answer to anything. "The three wise guys didn┬┤t have any women to wrap the gifts in for them". Now, there's two answers to that. First is the foolish answer that will put you on the couch tonight: "That┬┤s because there weren┬┤t any f***ing wrapping paper around 2000years ago. Women invented WRAPPING PAPER just to annoy us men!" And then there is the classical: "Of course darling, you┬┤re right." End of story. [ 02-02-2002, 13:34: Message edited by: Has ]

Are you 23, or are you "23"? "To be, or not to be 23, that┬┤s the question". Ok, I┬┤ll shut up.

Signs you've been playing BCM too much...

You talk to yourself in "gammulanian". -
Reading the beginning of the review, about the release of BC3000AD, and the buisness with Take 2, a sentence from a Beatles song came to my mind "boy, you gonna carry that weight for a long time". Every review I┬┤ve read so far begins the same, with a history lesson of previous releases. I don┬┤t see what that got to do with a review about BCM. Don┬┤t know how many patches he is gonna d/l, since he needs only one, but given the hours he is gonna spend, it must be quite a few.

LOL! This is great stuff. Puts a smile on my face.
