We have decided to kill all the official UCAWA and UCSE servers because - once again - we are having problems with the ISP. We've had the server crash and remain offline for these past few days. We are going to be moving to another ISP and will post more information when we happen to find one.

This patch has been updated in order to fix an issue in the display of multiplayer servers. If you already patched via the in game updater, follow the instructions above to set your version in SETTINGS.INI to 1.00.02 and then run the updater again. The other mirrors will be downloading throughout the day and the Direct2Drive version should be up later today as well.

Upgrades work just fine. Read the manual please. Just because you bought an upgrade does not mean that it can be fitted on your craft. No off-topic posts plz.

If you are using the in-game server browser for the latest versions of UCAWA and UCSE, you will notice that sometimes the server icons and data (clients online etc) is not displayed. We are looking into that.

As I said in my PM, they have the appendix data which is part of the game's docs. It is up to them to make it available as they are not available separately. If you want them, you can pick up UCG for about $9.99 from one of the online vendors. Then you will have the full documentation and game. Check our sales page for the links.

I can't even BEGIN to explain this movie. All I can say is that throw everything you knew about Bond, out the window and go see it. It is a completely different take on Bond. More humanized, brutal etc. This is not your mom's Bond, but damn he's good. Looking forward to the next one in 2008. 10/10

Its random and based on the planet type and characteristics.

That entire galaxy was just data. No content. So fitting it on two floppies was no biggie. I can fit my entire game galaxy on one floppy if there was no 'content'. Let me see him try that with E4. Anyway he's full of sh*t. He knows for a fact that the space sim genre is not as big as it used to be and that for anyone to take E4 seriously - after the travesty that were the last two - that he'd have to literally have monkeys flying out of his butt to live up to the hype. PLUS, factor in dev costs and the fact that no publisher will touch a space sim with the longest barge pole unless the devs were fully funding the development, what do you get? No Elite 4. It is highly unlikely that he will ever do another Elite. Not when he has bills to pay. Especially when he can just crank out whatever rubbish a publisher happens to be paying for.

Well, the gauntlet has been thrown. Since my XB360 is sitting in my living room, looks like this HD-DVD player is the one to get instead of the standalone and more expensive ones currently available. Damn Microsoft is wicked.
