There I was browing through Blockbuster with my daughter, when Kill Zone caught my eye because Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung were on the cover. It also has Simon Yam in it for good measure. So, I picked it up, read the back and saw that there is showdown between the two martial arts maestros. Boy, you HAVE to see this movie if you're a martial arts fanatic. I'm not going to say anything else beyond that. Just rent it. 10/10

Unless you really - really - like Chow Yun Fat and Gong Li, skip this. At 2hrs, it was 1hr too long and boring as all hell. If you want to get your martial arts groove on, go rent the Kill Zone DVD. 5/10

This was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The plot wasn't so bad either and I certainly didn't see that coming. Its the kind of movie that Tarantino would stitch together. Which isn't surprising since this director is also an indie 9/10

I'm not a big fan of musicals, but man, this movie surprised me. Well acted, well done and the singing is top notch. A really good family movie. 10/10

On December 4th, 2006, we announced a new aerial/space combat action series which was spawned from our existing and emerging game technologies. At the time, we envisioned the series as being focused on a single aspect of gameplay for both the PC and XBox 360. During negotiations with various parties, we ended up splitting the series in order to cater to our different audiences across platforms. The end result is that the series has now been split into specific episodic genres. Imagine, if you will, the different aspects of the popular sci-fi series, Star Trek. Galactic Command - Echo Squad, is the new name of the original aerial/space action combat title based on the adventures of a group of Elite Force Pilots assigned to the Excalibur carrier. This title will remain a PC exclusive. We have this week signed an exclusive four episode deal for this title. More info will be announced by the publisher at the upcoming D.I.C.E. summit in Las Vegas. GALCOM:ES is on schedule for release in Q2/07. Galactic Command - Bravo Team is an fps only title based on the adventures of a team of elite marines assigned to a planetary starbase. It is also episodic and features some of our emerging technologies, including a heavily revamped terrain engine which uses SpeedTreeRT. More info and shots will be revealed this Summer, as well as additional info on what platforms it will be released on. GALCOM:BT is on schedule for release in Q4/07. Galactic Command - Excalibur. Similar to "Echo Squad", this title is also episodic and focuses on the Excalibur command carrier and the combat pilots assigned to it. This title will remain an XBox 360 exclusive. GALCOM:EX is on schedule for release in Q2/08.

Invade Saudi Arabia? uhm, aren't we already there? -
Consider this!! If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers. The firearm death rate in Washington, D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq. Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington immediately.

....this could get ugly.

This is a French (good English dubbing) made movie that is billed as Top Gun on steroids. Being a fan of all things aerial, I picked it up a Blockbuster not expecting much. Its quite good and the aerial photography is top notch. The story is the usual rubbish though.

Actually, its not a 'movie'. It seems to be something along the lines of Da Vinci Code. I haven't watched it myself, but there's a lot of buzz about it. Question is. Is it fact or fiction?

I went into this movie expecting nothing and was pleasantly surprised. This movie was really well done. It is reasonably paced and if you don't shed a tear at the end, check your pulse. 10/10

Artifacts are available in ROAM but they don't appear frequently at stations. Intruders do not burn up during entry. Intruders do not fire at objects outside the ship.

You can only transfer games of the same type. If they don't show up, it means that they are not compatible and you are trying to, for e.g. use UC saved games for UCSE. Can't do that m8. Also, do you have two copies of the game? If not, how did you manage to install it on both your PC and laptop?

A return to the old days....
Supreme Cmdr replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Galactic Command - Echo Squad
Just a headsup to let you folks know that we are in the process of signing a major - major - deal for the Galactic Command series. As a result, I have split the franchise into two properties, while also adding KnightBlade to that series in order to retain brand name recognition. What we have is a Galactic Command series which will focus on certain aspects of my established game world and characters. Think of them like Star Trek whereby you have Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Star Trek - Voyager, Star Trek - Enterprise etc. The Echo Squad is a PC exclusive, while Excalibur is a console exclusive. This was done in order to not taint the IP and confuse gamers. And most especially since I don't want my console games to be pure ports of their PC counterparts. At the end of the day, its all good. The press release should be out later this week about this and the deal will be announced at the upcoming D.I.C.E. seminar
