Until I saw that video (I even ordered the DVD so that I could watch again in my living room), I didn't have ANY questions about the events of 9/11. I watched that video a second time and meticulously made notes about questions I had in my mind. These are of special interest to me : WHERE is United Flight 93? There is no way on Earth that plane could have vaporized after hitting the ground at speeds in excess of 500 mph. I know enough about flying and physics, to know that much. What was a C-130 doing in the area? Did they actually dismantle Flight 93 and dropped parts of it from the air? The trajectory of the plane that hit the pentagon is as suspicious as hell. The WTC towers were definitely destroyed in part by a controlled demolition. Only a complete idiot would indicate otherwise. I didn't need the video to tell me that. In fact, most everyone who saw it on TV, immediately drew the same conclusion. ...that gold bullion? Well, shiver me timbers, they were already moving it!!! I have so many - many - questions that I'm just sitting here waiting for the day when a shocker is going to hit us in the news. This has all the markings of a Kennedy style cover up. Yes, there are conspiracy kooks out there; but lets face it, even the most rational person asking the right - and disturbing questions - can be labeled as on on any given day.

I first read about this in TV Guide and decided to watch one episode. I was hooked; so I TIVOed all ten episodes in the recently ended season one. If you like 24 or similar, do yourself a favor and grab this. Its got Oded Fehr in it!! More info on Showtime site. For you [illegal] leechers, I'm sure all ten episodes are online somewhere.

Tell me about it. I also watched the A&E version tonight. Apart from the actors and acting, they were both basically telling the same story. I liked Paul's version better; though the A&E version had the scrambled F16 and some other items. Its being repeated again tonight.

Anyone with the D2D version try this yet or not?

I'm not and never have been a conspiracy theorist. But watching the United 93 movie this past weekend, coupled with following some editorial links, I came across this documentary which, I must say, has completely shattered my view of what happened on 09/11/01. Anyone else getting this, or is it just me? Was 9/11 really orchestrated by an American govt. in a bid to go to war with Iraq in order to secure oil interests? I dunno, but considering the price of gas these days, I'd say if this is in fact the truth, their plan has kinda backfired. The thought that so many lives could be considered collateral damage, is not so farfetched when you consider the military doctrine of ROE. Even the sanctioned military shoot down of a civilian jetliner, considers the crew and passengers collateral damage.

Just go see it. Not a dry eye in the theatre. Tons of clapping at the end. A movie about the typical American spirit. 10/10

By now - amidsts fits of uncontrollable laughter - you've all heard the new naming of the Nintendo console. Yet another nail in Nintendo's console coffin.

Well TryMedia/Macrovision have today confirmed to IGN what I already suspected. Their DRM scheme is not yet compatible with the new VS2005 compiler. Hence the reason the problem we've been having. To this end, I have uploaded a new D2D version based on the previous VS6 compiler. It is available via the in game Updater and will be available via the D2D patch download page on Monday.

I liked it. Can you imagine a movie based on a game being good. And debuting at #1 at the BO? Aren't we all glad Uwe didn't get his mits on this? I agree 100% with Scriv's assessment. The end was gory and bizarre all at once. Even when I closed my eyes (I REFUSED to leave, thats how good I thought this movie was), I could still imagine (from the few fragments I caught prior to my eyes closing) wtf was going on. Lets try this version. This is the new protected version I just got from IGN. Since this is based on the same executable as the current Starforce version, if it doesn't work, then thats the end of that until IGN and TryMedia sort it out in their DRM scheme. Rename your [1.00.13] UCAWA.EXE and UCAWAMP.EXE files to .BAK Download this D2D file and extract into your game folder Run both the sp & mp versions of the game and let me know if either works or not. If this D2D version still does not work, just revert back to 1.00.13 by deleting the files and restoring the backup versions in step #1
