As I have said in some other place, there is no rule that tells you to use plain text for all your signature. I, for example, use bold text for the 1st line, and italics for the quote line. This is going kind of off topic, but it cries for some answer/question: how can Mars declare independence with Starpath in orbit, hosting two of the five Wings of Prime? Think of it, roughly 160 fully equipped ships (I assume 400 ships within Prime Fleet) use Starpath as home base, and thus have easy access to the planet itself... Now back to topic: Derek, if you really implemented Destiny as a cloaked station (like Gammula), we all await (in the RP forum, at least) the day when its cloaking device faults, of that of an arriving Insurgency squadron. Well, it looks to me like each of ISS' wings are "fleets" with a Fleet Cmdr. as leader, and ISS seems to be a "fleet group", led by a Strategic Cmdr.(?!?). Maybe I am really confused, heheh. Ristar, can you explain the ISS Fleet structure to me in simple words? The question remains: why is it divided into fleets, and not wings, like all the other fleets? Thomas (a.k.a. Derek, Prime uses Galcom HQ, Genesis, and Starpath as assets. You have set Starpath to Scientist (was Military), and Gazer1 to Military (was Scientist). The wings Delta, and Epsilon were assigned to Starpath. Should we move from Starpath to Gazer1 with Delta, and Epsilon? ------------------ Fleet Cmdr. Derek, do we really need a new Fleet (called CIOPS)? SCID (as a fleet) has been nearly nonexisting, but could have been a chance for some motivated Commander to create something new, equal to each other CALCOM Fleet, as well as EARTHCOM. Is ISS that large that it needs to be divided into fleets rather than, say, wings? We should keep it simple, and not start with fleet groups IMHO, especially as long as there are not enough active players to even fill those fleets. (Most of the active people are with the Insurgency anyway...) Ristar, this does not go against you! The whole structure seems complicated enough without inventing a new fleet along the road, just what Derek did not want to do anyway IIRC. Regards. Thomas (a.k.a. Search this forum for hints about memory settings. v2.08, and v2.09 do need more memory than v2.00. Use the Search utility, to be found at top, and right. Corrected. Cmdrs. Andergum, and SpacePhish are now no longer part of the Prime Fleet MIA list. Also, added Derek Smart, and his ship, the GCV-Warmonger. Okay, I need a volunteer with some good taste to take this structure, proof read it (I am from Germany, my English is not that good) and bring it in a nice format.
