The rest is okay, so leave it as it is. One word about BC3K memory settings, though: You have to set the shortcut properties as explained in the FAQ: Memory - Total = AUTO Initial Environment = 4096 EMS memory = AUTO XMS memory = AUTO Uses HMA = ON DPMI memory = AUTO (set to 16384 if you only have 32MB or less RAM in your machine) Screen - Full Screen = ON Dynamic Memory Allocation = OFF Misc - Allow screen saver = OFF Always suspend = OFF Idle sensitivity = LOW (all the way to the left) Mouse exclusive mode = ON That should do the trick! Hector, A friend of mine owns a dual board running two Celeron 400 on some additional interface cards. Works like a charm, at least with Linux. (Btw., I gave him my old BC3K v1.0 including all (paid) patches up to v2.09 for free, and he does not even play it! Grmpf, seems I am not good at public relations! Kewl! New site works fine from me. Two (little?) questions: 1st - can we have pics in our signatures (you disabled that in the UBB settings, OTOH can those be "faked" by editing the post right after sending it)? 2nd - as I visit this forum very often, I wondered if the "show last entry first" feature could be activated, thus we would see the new messages first and would not need to scroll to the back of each thread. The reactor artifact gives 100 units of power, like any other reactor, but it uses less fuel! All the other artifacts (except reactor, and shield), are not upgrades, they stand on their own. You should be able to see them somewhere in the cargo section (use Alt-E and do some search) as special items or the like. Also, they get installed automatically by your crew. Sorry, I am at work at the moment, with no access to The Game. I will correct any errors later... And those artifacts do work, try the HSD for example, or decouple the lasers and try the nice beamer.
