  1. Probably
  2. I donÔÇÖt know what is more revolting, all the nonsense among the Arabian countries or that you people would spend so much time reiterating each other and rehashing the issue. As for my take on the issue, the only solution would be for A) mass extermination of one side (or both sides for that matter), Mass (and no doubt forced) migration of one side, or C) someone to set up a totalitarian government and sit on EVERYONE for a few generations and employ a ruthless internal security force to root out rebels. Option A would be interesting, but whoever managed to pull it off would be rather unpopular in our global community. Option B would be even more interesting, and very messy. I donÔÇÖt think either side would willingly move. Option C would be just plain fun, but I doubt such a regime could last long enough to be effective. Basically there screwed so there is no point in trying to help them. We can always hope they depopulate each other sufficiently for this to cease to be a major issue. There, now I'm just as revolting as all you people, isnÔÇÖt hypocrisy fun?
  3. Why canÔÇÖt psycho killers fixate on people who put popups on their sites? I'm sure no one would mind a little discreet axe murdering if they never had to look at popups again.
  4. Well, this is one way in which I donÔÇÖt mind being outnumbered
  5. If you put it that way itÔÇÖs not much of a choice
  6. When it comes to science fiction novels I would say that David WeberÔÇÖs Honor Harrington series is the best (not to mention that itÔÇÖs 9 books long and theyÔÇÖre all good). Just read the first couple and youÔÇÖll be begging SC for lasers with an outside range of 400,000km. For fantasy itÔÇÖs no choice, Terry GoodkindÔÇÖs Sword of Truth series. Way better then tokens LOTR (and most anything else for that matter) because he portrays such a vivid world, not to mention the series is some 6 or 7 books long (itÔÇÖs still growing so I'm not sure right this moment) with most of them twice as big as most novels.
  7. Your minds are filthy you need a good brainwashing. That aside, congratulations on the on the chestburster Jaguar.
  8. Well, count me in, I can defiantly go for this death and destruction stuff. IÔÇÖm not so much interested in the RPing (though its definitely worth a try) as the upcoming mp patch, but if youÔÇÖll have me then IÔÇÖll join. I am, however, a little curious about how fleets work (I have been puttering around this web side looking at this and that and its not all that clear what a fleet actually does). A short explanation of how all this works would be much appreciated.
  9. I just read the fleet FAQ and I noticed that the Secure Fleet Access (SFA) servers would be up 24/7. From what I have read, however, the SFA servers will be able to save, but will not be persistent as was stated in the fleet FAQ. Would it be correct to assume that the fleet FAQ is out of date with the current plans for mp?
  10. I found a rather nifty bug (or perhaps a feature?). To reproduce, launch your shuttles and order them to go to a starstation. When they get there, order them to return to base, and then immediately order them to go to that same starstation. The result is them docking at the star station and appearing in you CC. I'm not sure if this works with fighters, but I know that it doesnÔÇÖt if your far enough away for them to HJ to you.
  11. The full game comes with 13 songs. Maybe upcoming demo episodes come with a new song (I don't know, you gotta ask Derek there)? ------------------ Rear Admiral RaVeN ICV-Merlin, Balor Intelligence Balor Fleet Team 3000AD (Sound/Music BCM/GCO/Prowler)

  15. Thomas, just wondering, since the bcm channel is on gamesnet, would it be much of a hassle to have your fleet's chatroom on the same network? It'd allow new people to find the channels alot faster, and also let YOU guys be in the bcm channel (or there'd have to be 2 mirc instances open which of course is annoying over the time). ------------------ Rear Admiral RaVeN ICV-Merlin, Balor Intelligence Balor Fleet Team 3000AD (Sound/Music BCM/GCO/Prowler)
  16. Here a few sites, each pointing to a couple of filemirrors on different geographical locations, from where you can d/l the BCM Demo (for the people who didn't do so yet): 3DFiles DemoNews 3DDownloads Fileplanet more to come ------------------ Rear Admiral RaVeN ICV-Merlin, Balor Intelligence Balor Fleet Team 3000AD (Sound/Music BCM/GCO/Prowler) [This message has been edited by RaVeN (edited 03-17-2001).] [This message has been edited by RaVeN (edited 03-17-2001).]

  20. just got this question via icq and have no idea if or if not there is a fix: quote: When using the inventory screens for buying and selling (TRADECOM), the down arrow button to select the listings below the current one always skips down two listings with one mouse click. The up arrow button seems to work fine and so do the buy and sell buttons. How can I make the down arrow button work so that it only selects one listing below and not skip to two? thanks in advance ------------------ Cmdr. Raven ICV Merlin Spectre Fleet spectre HQ.
