Hey there Gentleman. I've temporarily shut down the PF Commander Forum after an assault was made on my router. I'm keeping the board offline for at least a few more hours. Denny can bring it up at his discretion. I've also contacted my ISP about the attack and reported the IP (which match's someone who I had recently banned from the board) So if any of you are wondering why you can't access the board. This is why Either myself, or Denny will post when the board is back up.

The amount of school violance went UP drastically since the school year began. This alone there's been about seven school shooting in less than one month, about ten bomb threats, and numerious other things. All said and done, the main reasons for these problem's isn't that the police are in need of new people, nope, it's that the schools aren't doing there job in teaching the student right from wrong. It's right to talk about things on the net. It's wrong to death threat the president. But the school system doesn't give a rats ass about rights and wrongs, they just want there money so they can spend it on more boats, cars and other useless things. This is but an example of how out of control our school systme is. But also an example of how parents need to get more involved in there children's lives. Sorry for taking this off topic, but the main culbrit is the school system. Aramike is right, SC, The fed's have been doing this sort of thing for YEARS now, long BEFORE the internet was even established. It wasn't until the internet was established did the Fed's have to get involved in THAT little crop of problems as well. People seem to think that if they death threat someone on the net, it can't be traced back to them. They are wrong, everything has an ID code in it, you IP ADDRESS is one example. Your MAC ADDRESS is another example. And don't forget, the Fed's do have the technology to locate your house just from the little information you provided. Anyway. Federal law prohibits this type of action on the net, further more, the act of threatening someone like the president deserves far more punishment, than threatening your friend or his family. Just my two cents

Ok first off Grayson, thats how ATI cards WORK. They always do that, it's not the MONITOR that turns off, more it's the card recognizing that it's actually being used for something other than displaying your desktop. My screen does that to every game I play, it's not a bug or a problem, it's how it was designed. NOW! If there is NO screen showing up after the ONE to THREE second black out THEN it has somethign to do with the game. (provided your drivers are up to date.) Been using ATI for years now and never had a problem, although I've also solved many other's.. so just let me know if you need further help

Ahh... Welcome to the community All you need to know to stay alive here is to follow the rule's established by the admins, and you'll be fine As for understanding the game, it'll take some time. You can't expect to learn everything about this game within a week, but you can learn a good portion. Just take your time, read the book, experiment with different ships to find your style, then you feel you are ready, think about which fleet fancy's your style As for your issues.... I would suggest you go with UC as it's far more stable than BCG was (at least that's my experience, as I had crash's with BCG as well, but have yet to have ONE crash with UC or UC-Awa) If all else fails, check the tech forum's to see how to solve the issues... most are user related. And don't hesitate to ask questions

When you view the E3 video on there website, you'll most likely have the reaction I did: It's release date is TBA, but I can't help shake the feeling it'll be out late 2007, early 2008 It's an Xbox 360 game.. Before, only Halo 3 and Derek's upcoming game where of interest to me and enough to convince me to buy a 360 sometime before Derek's game would be released.
