Hmmm..... perhaps I had set my expectations to high A year ago I used to help teach at the private school I attended, at least until the headmaster sadly passed away and we got a new one (an idiot mind you who only cares about money, which is why I stopped helping out. It was becoming more problematic than enjoyful) Now, mind you, I helped to teach 6-7-8 year old students and never had any issues. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I knew I wouldn't have problems with children that young (FYI - I helped teach at the private school I attended from K-12th grade, so the headmaster knew me VERY well, but that was the ONLY reason I was allowed to help teach) The problem it seems though is this: My family just came into town my sister, brother... and his son (Sever years old) Now, I have no trouble with children, I respect them and actually am rather over-protective of them (I have a saying - "Only a coward would harm a child" ) A couple days ago we took the kid out to dinner, it was a treat from my father and I for him first coming here to Vegas.... well things crud hit the fan real quick The saddest thing is, my father and I, along with my sister, KNEW this was going to happen. The kid craves attention and when he doesn't get it, he tries to do 'other' things to get it One being at home where he terrorizes my cat (my cat's to afraid now to come out and hides in my room, he even hides from ME now.. and that REALLY makes me mad, my cats sensitive and if that kid continues to terrorize him then I know hell end up being injured because my cat will get TIRED of it and put that kid on a IOS list *Injure on sight*) Another being how when we where at dinner that day, he wouldn't eat anything and so his father (my brother) ordered him some food and the kid just broke down and wouldn't stop crying. In terms of money.. err... lets not go there... lets just say the bill was well over $80 (it was a special treat and my brother said he would be fine) The thing is... I hold onto grudges VERY easily, especially when that person down-right insults my father or myself, that's when it goes to a 'no holds' type of grudge where I ignore the person outright and don't help them out In this case, my brothers son; the kid didn't like how his father was getting the attention and not him so he cried his way into the attention and then also on the way home he wouldn't be quiet. It took every ounce of discipline I've learned from martial arts to keep my own anger under control and even then I still had to take a two hour walk in order to calm down I don't take to kindly to anyone insulting my father like that. My friends FIVE year old little brother, who was also new in Vegas about four months ago, was completely calm when we took him out to enjoy a dinner with the folks Now, I know all people are unique and that no single person is the same. However, that still doesn't cut it, I run by a philosophy that everyone is accountable for there actions. The kid may be seven years old, but the way he acted in front of my father in that restaurant.... embarrassed both him and myself.... I've never had such anger and disappointment aimed at a kid before, I understand he's young... but still... What hurts more is that all three of us (sister, father and I) where completely right about this going to happen and that scares me My father told me that his vacation was ruined that day and that he would rather be at work than have to deal with this crap all over again (he had to deal with it when I was young, but he says I behaved a lot better) I think it's because my brother baby's his son way to much (sits him in front of a TV all day and doesn't seem to do anything else.....) I really don't know what to do anymore, if this was a classroom environment then I'd know what to do.. but it isn't! If anyone has any suggestions, man, I would really appriciate it. Because right now my patiance is at it's end and I've even gone as far as locking myself in my room (only a week and a half left, but still, this is NOT how I pictured MY vacation to be....)

The problem really isn't low wages It's the stupid football/basketball crude that we have on TV that people care TO MUCH about and not enough about there own LIVES or well being

I still wonder what the heck those idiots are doing when they stress test there products.... I mean something like this should've been delt with BEFORE it even hit the production line Still, lets just hope the second batch of these consoles don't have that problem (I don't plan on buying mine till december)

Well lets look at the facts here people: The terrorists are dressed as Cilivians - FACT The terrorists use Cilivians to get close to our soldiers - FACT The terrorists use cilivan vehicles to attack our soldiers - FACT The terrorists don't wear identifiable uniforms - FACT And if your going to argue that it's still inexcusable then how about YOU go over to iraq as a soldier and see just how hard it is to tell a terrorist from a civilian, how hard it is to tell friend from foe.... It's not like WW1 or WW2 where we could ID our enemy just by there uniform or what they wore, this is a war where our soldiers can't identify the enemy until it's practically to late... there using cowardly tactic's like dressing up as a civilian because they know they can't take us on in a straight fight So instead the terrorists dress up as civilians because they KNOW a US soldiers would never kill an unarmed civilian without provable cause Now.. weather this story is true or not I don't know, nor care for that matter, our soldiers are under a load of stress over there thanks to the politic's happening here in the US. If the politicion's had allowed the military to do there damn job this war would've been OVER in a year! But no instead they had to engage some rediculous rule of engagement about not killing "innocent" civilians when in fact the enemy is DRESSED AS THOSE "INNOCENT" CIVILIANS AND IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THAT FACT!!!! This is a war where you can't tell who's friend, foe, or neutral... Need I say more?

If such a tax was to go through, it would KILL internet bussiness widely 1st - Internet shopping would die out completely 2nd - Online Gaming would die out completely (who would want to pay 9 bucks a month plus an additional charge?) 3rd - Online communication would become a thing of the past (spending a buck just to send an e-mail? Maybe more) 4th - Multiplayer gaming would also die out, although it doesn't have the one month pay fee, it does have the tax fee, which most multiplayer's don't have the funds to afford an online game thats why they would rather play a 'free' online game 5th - ONLY the rich could afford to use the internet... Ring any bell's people? It should...

Military does strange things They just CANCELED her deployment so now she's back on leave and will be coming down in two weeks I'm a very happy commander now

Hmmmmmm Interesting article, wish they had run more tests though to see if any 'other' populer game would work... like.. say... EQ2? which is still vastly popular... But this still doesn't convince me to dish out hundreds of dollers to upgrade my OS when I don't even know if four games in particuler will work (X3 - Reunion, 3000AD's line of games, and two others)

I hear ya Marvin My sister won't be re-enlisting from what shes just said a few minutes ago "It's hard for a military man to do his job when you've got people who don't understand the meaning of 'battle' or 'war' and realize that lives will indeed be lost, weather it be civilian or military, war is not preatty and war is not fair" As much as I want her to stay in the military because it's very good money, I also want her out of the military because after two years they've kept on saying 'no' to her leave, then they finally say 'yes' two weeks and then just yesterday they 'cancel' it again.. she's REALLY fed up with this crap... And here I wanted to be a soldier... god... how stupid was I *shakes head*

Man.. this must be the year of bad things Anyway My brother and sister had everything planned for coming down here, tickets all set, plan's made Oh wait.. the military needs her for something MORE important than spending time with her family after having been deployed for FOUR YEARS STRAIGHT!! She JUST got back for christ sake!! God... now our plans are ruined... we had plans on taking my sister out and celebrating her birthday (her birthday would fall during the time she was here) but now thats not possible And from what she has said, she'll be deployed for at least a year or two now!! God... ... (insert words not suitable for children, heck insert words not suitable for ANY age group) Man I am SO mad right now.... my sister and I where going to go out for at least a week to spend some brother and sister time together.. but NOW that isn't possible.. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Aye The media doesn't giving flying flip about there own country, thats why they report on stuff that is not important This Social Security Benefits IS important, because it helps out older people when they can no longer work. By giving this to illegal immigrates or those who are here LEGALLY they are TRASHING the system and spending more of MY tax dollers on a person who can't even speak english for pete's sake! I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall and listen in on there conversations, because the senate, house and government in general are full of A LOT of traitors, Bush company included, who don't care about the country, last I checked the people in office are supposed to serve the PEOPLE not THEMSELVES Errrr.... sometimes I wonder why the good lord brought me into this world (no bashing my beliefs.)
