The only problem I've had to date is having to click on the UC icon anywhere between 1 and 20 times (I counted)

After digging back to the oldest video driver I have...it Finally works. btw...what pertinent sys info do I need to put?

Well...I Thought I had it working.... I've tried the FAQ (reading and re-reading several times), taking down the sound and video accel. sliders, updating drivers, safedisk, uninstall/ defrag/clean boot/reinstall...even windows compatability. uninstalling Nero and divx, making sure I had an updated indeo. Tried a clean install without the patches...just to see.....nothin'. so...if there's any suggestions...I'm listening. maybe I over-looked something in my frustration at least multi works....for the time being

Exactly SpinDokter, that's what I was asking, If if was ok to name our CC without being a member of a fleet....just so the name could be associated with the user...so it couldn't be taken

Now that I've gotten UC back up and running...something I've been meaning to ask... Is one allowed to name or register the name of his/her Asset/Command Craft? And is there a specific procedure for this (I've tried searching for threads on this but nothing has turned up)

What about Windows XP SP2...That seems to have been causing my probs with it...it won't run for me either I tried setting Pri controller to PIO and nothing

Is there any chance that the old 1st/3rd person CC will be implemented....at some point?

For what it's worth....I'm torn between the Battlecruiser MkII and the Aestrom. I think it basically boils down to personal preference, After all....it's the Commander that make a ship...not the Ship that makes the Commander (just another personal opinion)

You have to be Real careful when blasting the station.....wait til armor gets down to the low hundreds, turn PTA off and take the main guns down to 10%....then space out your shots...wait for the SOS signal...then Dock with the Zerin Station That's how I did it anyway...hope that helps

I'd keep an eye on ebay...I got a GeForce 5200 FX Ultra for $60 no extra for shipping I think they said it was a year old...but it works fine so far Lemme know if I can help out

I never had a problem with learning the game. In my humble opinion...BattleCruiser is similar to chess....a few minutes to learn...a life-time to master.

That's what I thought...was just cool to actually be able to walk around in the CC itself (the BCTE download from sometime ago), who knows...maybe it'll be an option in the sequel of UC...here's hoping you come out on top with DC.

I think I already know the answer but, on ebgames.com I think it was it said 1st and 3rd person play as commander, pilot, marine. Could it be that the TE section was added to UC after all?
