Ok....missing link in physics. His knowledge of physics was of late 1800's and early to mid 1900's. I believe he was working on ways to transmit power over the air without benifit of conductors.The Tesla coil was one famous experiment. If I remember correctly,physicists in this time era pretty much thought they had things figured out.Just a few minor details to wrap up. Like when materials were heated the radiation (light) they gave off didn't quite meet calculations. Now I don't know anything about the government taking his work, but I guess I need more information on the missing link.

Well...I guess I am. If everyone's wealth was 'strictly' a result of their hard work and nothing else,and if everyone had an even playing field to begin with,I would agree with you a hundred and twenty percent. But that is not the case,and it will never be. And we havent factored in things like natural disasters and accidents. Why should the Federal Government be involved? Simple:because they have the power and resources to make a difference. And I guess that is part of the price in being a citizen.

Tesla was a genius who went head to head with Edison,and unfortunately didn't fare all that well. However, we use AC power because of him (and others),not to mention multiphase motors.Which are used everyday in a million applications.

No,didn't read the entire book, but it is referenced in many works as how it is possible to 'think or picture' extra dimensions. May want to watch that PBS special on string theory if NOVA ever replays it. Probably available on DVD if not.Check PBS.org.

Try this Try not preloading models.How much memory do you have.Preloading models pretty much requires a Gig. Actually,I nevery saw much benefit in preloading,anyway.

Thanks for those hints, but before I read them in their entirety,I'll think I'll try it my way first. However just wanted to add that that the new sounds are also great. Especially the main guns with capital ships.Very much improved. Future possible idea: add a little jitter when firing those main guns.
