Don't suppose we could get an upgrade for the new engine.Just the global *.scr files and a new prepare.exe if that is necessary. If not,how about the convert tool you will use for players who will upgrade to UC-AWA rather than buy the complete new game?

Just ran across this on the web and it may explain some of these problems some are having with debugger messages and also have a Audigy2: "Hello All, I had this same problem when I tried to run Medal of Honor:Allied Assault after installing an Audigy 2 Platinum Sound card. After searching the Web for an hour or so, I found a solution that worked just fine, and it actually made some sense. For those of you who installed the driver/application software from Creative Labs Audigy 2 Platinum, you simply need to "uncheck" the box that lets that annoying Creative Introduction/Getting Started/Demo screen launch on startup, then reboot your system to see if A-the annoying startup graphic stops launching at startup and B-your game stops prompting you to "unload the debugger" when you try to run it. " "I found the answer for myself - I just got an Audigy2 retail and started having this problem with Battlefield 1942. After reading this post I went in to 'msconfig' (Start ---> run: 'msconfig') and disabled 'CTSysVol'. After that, Battlefield 1942 runs just fine.... Cheers!" Try that and see if it helps.

1. Run sound setup and select no card for both sound and music. 2. Glide only works with a 3DFX Voodoo card. 3. Game wont run without somekind of sound configuration. Ok..if that works, to get sound working under XP get VDM Sound from the downloads page. Also try the windows version.BC3k209win.It's in a zip file. There is also a big help file somewhere around here. Oh yeah, be sure to start from the .bat file using /V1 Vesa video mode.

He's right. As a test I started a new game as race Syrion in the Launch region Alteris using the normal Roam scenario. Headed to flux 20 and got a CTD upon entering the flux field. No exceptions,just a CTD. Possible script problem?

I do not know the exact reason, but his sig would display your IP and net source. Which makes me somewhat uncomfortable. Eventhough I'm behind hardware and software fiewalls. I reset my router/DSL modem immediately.
