man u know they prob could have done better if they used liquid helieum but thats like $5 a liter i got a pretty good processor (2.8 ghz) but man 64 bit!? so does that mean I can play nentendo 64 games on my comp if i had that!? if you can tolerate it then use the mouse that has a big ball that u roll around with your fingers since it wouldnt have to be moved around like an ordinary mouse(if u use it for a while u get the hand of it) I was at my uncle's house for a week and thats the only kind of mouse he uses but after many hrs of CS i got the hang of it lol

Well the only reason why religion and science were in competition was because of the ignorance of the ppl who were in charge at the time, I see no reason why religion should slow down scientific progress for any reason at all... God says it is our responsibility how we use the resources that he gave to us. Likewise it is our resonsibility to decide whats gonna be good or evil like cloneing for example which has obvious medical benifits but can be morally wrong if you really think about how it all works And for the sake of christian scientists, I am one and I am in it for the science otherwise I wouldnt be doing the best that I can do at my job, to me space travel would be about the chance to explore a new world and maybe finding something intersting while im there (like aliens!) hopefully nice ones who generously give us their advanced technology with no expectations of anything in return

After all the AI in this game is awsome... never before have I played a game where the stuff you fight actually gets smarter (well except maybe URT2003 but thats only if u set it to adapt) but OHH MAN its like its thinking for itself and maybe it called the guy bad names I dont know but before, I saw the SC say the invaders take hostages and that wasnt programed... THE GAME IS SELF AWARE!!! im scared to think what would happen if you put it in a computer that controls nuclear weapon silos and/or "giant asteroid slingshots"

just buy a joystick with 2 buttons(laser and missle) maybe even a thrid for closest enemy keep it simple man keep it safe

There is a way to obtain world peace its a simple solution really. Since we are weak flesh we have the flaws LostInSpace mentioned above (it has nothing to do with the possibility if we looked like a monkey man many years ago)although i dont see religion as a flaw, at any rate We are indeed flawed and thus we will inevitably try to destroy each other... so this is what has to happen, we need a common enemy, something that is not from our world, something alien. With that we would all become human again rather than a seperation of races as our "flawed" minds have come to believe(actually it was God's doing to stop us from createing the tower of babel)... THEN we can unite! and when we are all one we would be unstoppable!!! but when it comes to USA and Russia its good to have competition because it drives us to take those "great leaps"

Do all classes lose exp if someone in their faction dies? like say your just a merchant and a diplomat gets blown up do you lose exp for that when its not your responsibility to defend them because your just a merchant?????

U know freddy is evil but jason only has bloodlust I dont remember everything about freddy or jason but in my opinion the villans that make the biggest impact are the ones that started off as goodguys like the devil for example or darth vader, kinda gets you thinking. offtopic: who do you think would win Jet Lee VS Jackie Chan?

just remember when you gain something your usually gonna have to give something up... that said think about what would happen if the pta system could take out a missle in say one or two shots, sure that would be good for you but it would also be bad for you because other ships would also have this ability makeing combat very difficult because you have to get in front of the target's weak spot to have a chance of hitting them with a missle... and if you are afraid of missles then push 'E' to activate the electrical jamming device and when the missle passes you by u can turn it off by pushing 'E' , if your moving you will most likely never get hit while it is on since it forces the missle to go in a straight line

Ice Cold is right, you would need electro statics( and alot of it) to repel the objects floating around in space. Also a shield should be able to contain the atmosphere around a ship so if there was a hull breach and the shields came on it would stop the vacume effect... as for what a shield is made out of, im not sure. but it would have to be someting that can reflect or absorbe light in the case of lasers, but to be truely effective the shield must be able to repel anything so a mixture of technologies would have to be combined into one possibly createing a layer effect. Like an outer layer that repels heat and an inward layer that repels kinetic energy and another that repels light. After you have all of that you will most likely not be able to see anything beacuse your shield repels light wahaha

you cant as in its impossible or as in you didn't want to make it so we had to do that, because its not impossible to do although it take some getting used to (btw if u played games like "homeworld" you should know what im talking about)

u know since a big asteroid is so devastateing then why dont we launch asteroids? we should also launch asteroids at the ones comeing toward us! see its like a free weapon cus we can just build some giant sling shot and then go harvest a few asteroids and put them in a giant pouch and then make a big robotic hand to put it in the sling and then launch it at enemy planets and the aliens will be like "oh man what are we gonna do?" but it will be too late cus they wont have our sling shot technology and they will die
