I like XP Pro. I remember when people were griping that it didn't LOOK like Win98 and chose classic mode. ( a thread in this very forum) I had no problems with games on it. Anteus Rising: Hostile Waters worked fine with maybe two clicks to get it going. Thief II worked fine. Warzone 2100 worked fine. Even an old demo called Space Command Deluxe worked fine even if the processor was too fast for the engine and I could no longer beat level three difficulty scenarios. But that was with old hardware. Perhaps I will reinstall some things and see if it holds true for the new beastie. Plus I thought I read that they extended (for just a while) support for Win98 due to popular demand. LostInSpace needs to retire current machine to legacy status and get new one with XP.

Oops. In my reply to LostInSpace I said hundredths or thousandths when I should have said thousandths or hundreds of thousandths when talking about some asian currencies. Having the dollar broken into hundredths (the penny) seems simple by comparison. Epsilon5: We have a $2 bill. Coolest bill we got in my opnion. Eh, I was thinking more of the one single material possession you love but had actually thought people would include emotional things. That's fine. Of course I love my dog, parents, the internet, etc. But I LOVE my grandfather clock. It is the one single fairly expensive purchase I have made that I do not regret one single iota.

...Grandfather clock. Yes, you heard me right. I love my grandfather clock. I bought it for myself for Christmas. The Sun/Moon Dial is fake (painted on and doesn't move) but it's a real key wind mechanical movement with a swinging pendulum and beautiful chimes. What do you "love"?
