ive overlooked the obvious werewolf, the items file in the data folder contains the item listing, paying 10 credits for an ots sounds like a swell deal to me make a backup of the file of course.

What are the UC multiplayer options/modes?
TheRedComet replied to Hab's topic in General Multiplayer Discussions
well i suppose when the GBS III is out for the public , we would be able to create MP universes of our own? could add a whole lot of replay value to it. -
model? you mean craft? it's the phantom gunship which is in the center of the carrier.
-
nope it's not on african soil either well order it my friend the web is a wonderful place
-
well wasn't he talking about one planet only universes? oh wait oops should have read it fully

quote:For sure later today once i get back to my house I am going to toss up the default mutiplayer sinario as an internet server. Hopeflly we can get some mad Marine Team Combat action etc etc etc.. for sure matey i love the mp feature in UC too bad there aren't alot of servers and players as for one system? umm i had a look in the mp settings i only seen one mp universe so i don't think it's possible unless someone makes something like that.
-
it's the carrier defense one yeah ive seen it too not only in the bottom but also stuck inside a building
-
well one strange global bug ive encountered is with carriers and their gunships and fighters everytime i look at one (no matter where) i see the whole air wing in the ocean or about to sink something with the AI i persume.
-
well as for getting them if you're talking about bcmbcmgbc3k then get the cheat tools from the downloads page as for STO's no idea bud never seen one in action , cool tricks heh? well i do love taking a fighter down into an enemy base starting a little fight then sending a good ol OTS down and escaping in the last minute makes quite a cinematic secne well aside from stuff like that i don't know anything else that can be done ots's are just small nukes and nukes only explode you know
-
umm it's said in the manual that it can be done but i'm not quite sure how ,anyone care to assist?

Universal Combat - First Impressions
TheRedComet replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Universal Combat Series
quote:My 2nd "complaint"....why hasn't LucasArts been knocking down your door, begging you to make a REAL Star Wars game????? I think Universal Combat would make a totally AWESOME Star Wars game...unless they have, and you have turned them down. Chris well i think he had his time with big time publishers and look what came out the dreadful bc3k 1.0v... when working on creative games such as this it takes time which companies like take2 or even lucasarts wouldn't give or would easily replace with a marketable product which could be a total waste of time (take disney games which follow quickly after each movie , all are the same repeatitve tiddler minded platformers which your 2 year old brother would finish with ease) -

Any UC servers out there?
TheRedComet replied to TheRedComet's topic in General Multiplayer Discussions
quote: My only two primary concerns right now are that my DSL line (512K down, 256K up) will not be enough for it and that my server may not cope anyways. But we'll see. nah 256k512k is enough heck some heavy duty MMORPG servers i know are ran on less though i would advise a strong pc for the job . quote:Hopefully it'll be done for the weekend and I'll post about it as soon as it's available. -
well iraqi cooking gives you the worst types of gas believe me

seems so horrid to see 0 servers online i was wondering if anyone hosts a server or planning to do so. Edit: Unauthorized image removed from signature. If your unsure what is acceptable read these topics: How to add your system profile to your forum sig Everyone read this, Sig's, what they are for [ 02-06-2004, 11:59 AM: Message edited by: Pugwash ]

Universal Combat - First Impressions
TheRedComet replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Universal Combat Series
well as i started the game i noticed no intro (which isn't a bad thing considering bc3k's intro was god awful) Graphics : total knockout "outdated" (as claimed by several game sites) my foot pretty amazing and the new flocks of wild life are a refreshing addition , ships are really improved from bcm SoundMusic : congrats to whomever made the music (and tell him he should have been working on star trekandromeda's music ) pretty good as for the sounds well it's all good apart from the lasers which still remind me of bc3k Gameplay: bigger and better , love the new gunships and tanks btw. the gameplay isn't really different from the older games but the combat in UC feels truly like a sci-fi epic rather then a bunch of 3d boxes fighting with zero ability to strafe and shoot stright ( alot of times i found myself either bored to death with the battles or annoyed by how my AI mates collided with each other ) Story : oh come on SC even poorly scripted hentai games got more plot involved then this (btw is there an ACM editor? that way at least fans can make their own ACM's and plots..) all in all it's ace in my book and cheers to SC for the awesome consept which seemed lost in the voids of time -
