Yeah, 'cause heaven knows that Kalshion and myself dictate what the country's plan will be. We already did what we could - we voted. I attack anyone who slanders the people who protect MY rights and MY freedom with their own blood, regardless of political affiliation. If you weren't so high and mighty all the time, perhaps you could understand that.

Kerry does more than make fun of the military. He lied about witnessing atrocities in Vietnam, among other things, all for political clout at the expense of truth, and the reputation of our soldiers. Shameful. He continues his crusade against the military even today, with his hateful, dishonest, and wrong-headed remarks about our young men and women in harm's way. He is yet another left-leaning persona who yearns for the romantic ideal of being nobly against something in a grand and epic way and allowing that crusade define who they are going to be for the rest of their lives. Sadly, most of the liberal democrats in Washington AND the leftist media sprung from just such circumstances during the Vietnam War. And they want their conscientious objection to the Iraq war to be equally defining and noble, and they'll try their damndest to make it so, even if it means exaggerating or even fabricating. And people accuse Bush and Cheney of not being honest.

I absolutely agree about conservatism and liberalism not being monolithic, Race. Look at Silk and myself. We completely disagree on the Iraq war, for example, yet we both call ourselves conservatives. Jag and I disagree on what is science and what is religion, and again, we are conservatives. I truly believe that many liberals only want what's best for America. But I've seen some that seem to put regaining political power above all else, including country. I think this article was more directed towards those of the left who would do ANYTHING to make the Republicans look bad, even if it means damaging their own country in the process.

I am SOOOO excited about this game. Operation Flashpoint remains one of my favorite games of all time, right up there with Xcom, Wing Commander, System Shock, Tribes, Thief, and Doom. To me, no game yet has captured the essence of warfare, of actually being in a massive chaotic firefight involving dozens or even hundreds of troops the way Flashpoint did.

If I think what a Republican or conservative says or does is innappropriate, I speak up. Does the same thing happen on the left? I've yet to see it. As far as the media goes, I'll say this: I have more respect for the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting and killing our boys than I have for the media. At least the terrorists take a side. The media are scumbags who care nothing about America. They want their story, and screw anyone who suffers or dies because of it.

It's pretty funny that those of the left-leaning political persuasion buy every story from guys like Moore and ridiculously biased media like CNN, yet jump up and down screaming if they think a piece is biased to the right. Just an observation. As far as my take on the article, I think it is too severe an accusation to say that the political left deliberately support the enemy. I think they are so obsessed with destroying Bush and Republicans that they don't care that what they say and do constantly undermines our boys fighting overseas, lowers their morale, and gives aid and comfort to their enemies. They SHOULD be ashamed. But they won't be.

Attacking Dr. Laura for her stance being religiously based is a little silly, seeing as how the advice she gives her listeners is always religiously based and she has never tried to hide that. If the caller who asked her the question on the air (for those who don't know, Dr. Laura is a syndicated radio psychologist) didn't like the answer he was given, maybe he shouldn't have asked. I doubt she would just come out with this out of the blue.
