He was one of those interesting characters on TV, but man what are the odds of getting a barb to the heart? Crikey is right.

yeah you'd think that people would have a bit more common sense... guess not.

Posted over on gateworld, Sg-1 hasn't been renewed for an 11th season. MgM does want to continue to produce the show though so here's to hoping for another channel. I started watching that show when I was 15; I'll be sad to see it go. link

Prime Fleet Leader Election

Congrats Kal! -
hehe it seems to have outlived its time. I remember back a few years it was the biggest thing out there but it seems to have lost alot of its guilding recently.

hmm If I'd seen this I might have gone this route. I ended up just using hte parts of my old computer and running mediaportal on top to function as the media center and tv recording. if you are interested the link is http://www.team-mediaportal.com

I agree this is a pretty good show. the whole house being mad at him for missing dinner was hilarious.

quote: Rattler Akira (was known as "Ron Wallin") Blades Greg Miller Gudihl (had different alias) Now there are some names I've not heard in quite some time around here. But back on topic The idea does have merit and would get people involved and help them take "ownership" of their ideas.

Prime Fleet Leader Nominations
Eclipse replied to ShoHashi's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
Option two has the most RP merit, but could cause some dissention if suddenly the cream of the crop is gone. How about a mix of the two where volunteers are asked for from the best performers to create Orion's officers corps followed by extending the offer to the rest of the fleet to fill out the lower ranks. That should give a better mix without crippling Prime's capabilities all at once. -
North Korean Missile Crisis
Eclipse replied to Dave Peterson's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Well if his success rate for nuclear warhead detonation is about as great as his success rate for ICBM launches we don't have much to worry about. /cynical/ I give it a 25% chance of lasting greater than 35 seconds of flight with another 25% chance of the warhead actually going off. The odds are greater that it'll launch and detonate over his silo and him blaming us than us actually needing to shoot down the missile. -
LOL, Echo TAC!!!

I'm watching it, or to be more exact... keeping the espn web thingy up at work and watching dots randomly appear while a counter goes up to 90:00 The USA vs Italy game was rough in my book. And the ref seemed to have some kind of power trip handing out cards... not like they are candy but a few of them were waranted. ref: Yellow for you, and another yellow for you... Oh! you were a good boy last play, so here's a nice red one for you

I saw this one tonight with Cars, and well... meh... It was ok, but felt a little disjointed, almost like there was supposed to be more discourse and meat between the explosive scenes. 6/10

I came into this one wondering if Pixar could pull it off since the trailers weren't overly impressive. I think hey did an excellent job on the film and whatever you do, stay for at last the first part of the credits... quite good. 8/10 [ 06-12-2006, 10:42 AM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Nailed
Eclipse replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Sounds like Zarqawi was still alive when the troops got to him, but died on the way back. Shame... sure we could have gotten enough intel to effectivly pick apart the whole operation had he lived. -
Thats quite impressive environmentally. Next I'd like to see them do that comparison between real humans and in game humans

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Nailed
Eclipse replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
About time. I'm only saddened that we weren't able to capture him and let him rot in a cell with no chance of ever dying a martyr. Hopefully his death insipres no one over there. -
I am sorry to hear of your loss Remo. I pray that you will find comfort and pull through this.

I was in my dorm room at college trying to call my boss who lived in manhatten for a quick meeting on a project and couldn't get through. I found out a few min later what happened on a news website. After that I was at work and prayer session for the rest of the day and watching what happened on TV.
