LordBane Posted March 3, 2002 Report Posted March 3, 2002 Why do my posts keep getting deleted? I've never said anything offencive, all I want to know is how I can fix this dumb crash issue. let me know when I can post it again for the 3rd time so I don't waste any more time typing it over.
Cmdr Nova Posted March 3, 2002 Report Posted March 3, 2002 Posts are deleted if they aren't posted in the right forum. We like to keep everything organized and clean here. Here are some important steps to get you off on the right foot: [*]Read the welcome message to get a feel for what the forum's like. [*]Register the game if you haven't already. [*]Put your system info in your sig. [*]Other important information for new users can be found here. Now, on the part about technical issues: [*]Upgrade your drivers. [*]Patch to the latest version. [*]Read the Troubleshooting FAQ to search for anything related to your problem. [*]Read the support forums, and/or use the search function to find anything related--your problem might have been solved. [*]Post your technical problems in the forum that matches your problem. No double posting, please! [ 03-03-2002, 15:45: Message edited by: Cmdr Nova ]
LordBane Posted March 3, 2002 Author Report Posted March 3, 2002 I kept trying to start a new topic in the general issues forum, and was getting "You do not have permission to enter this area." i have to post in the exisiting one, silly me
Cmdr Nova Posted March 3, 2002 Report Posted March 3, 2002 quote:Originally posted by LordBane: i have to post in the exisiting one, silly me Sorry, I forgot to mention that. You have to post in an already-existing thread in the Support Forums. There was a TON of clutter and similar/duplicate problems in separate threads. It was about time to clear it out. Oh yeah, and you have to register and put your sys profile to technically get any tech support. Make sure you do that first.
LordBane Posted March 3, 2002 Author Report Posted March 3, 2002 I've already registered. how do i make the link to my sys profile?

If you want to learn how to put your sys profile in your sig, press two. If you want to know why you're getting flamed, press three. If you have a really stupid question, press four. If you have a legitimate question, press five. If you want to ask something that's in the appendix, press six. If you want to flame Cmdr Nova, press seven."

scorchedearth Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Gordon: Your Mileage May Vary quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: You Manic Moron Vamoose!!!So, would "Your Manic May Vamoose" also be accurate? ...or "You Mileage Moron Vary" (though the latter sounds better if one hyphenates the Moron Vary part: You Mileage Moron-Vary) ? Moron-Vary should then be treated as a noun and that is what makes it work. See? In any case... Thank you much.
