The Insurgents now have a secret base on Active Worlds (yippee! ).

Any Insurgent who uses the Active Worlds browser and wants to visit, please reply to this thread with the following message: "Request Landing Clearance". You will receive the coordinates in a private message. Do not give these coordinates to anyone who is not an Insurgent, especially if they're Galcom or Earthcom (they can go search for the secret passage ).

Also, if you have any opinions about the base, post them here.

The Insurgent Secret Base is now more difficult to find, and as soon as the new security measures are put in, it will be almost impossible.

So, if ANY Insurgent commanders are interested in visiting, "Request Landing Clearance". I hope I didn't build this for nothing.

My 200th post. Yay!

Good. Now that I have your attention, please go visit the base. Insurgents should NOT let the work of another Insurgent fall upon blind eyes and deaf ears.

So, who's going to be the first to request clearance *ahem*.

I'm gonna guess that this mean I have to knock 5 times, dance a little jig, and pretend I'm Rumpelstilzkin. Anyway Request Landing clearance.

Well...it's been some time since I've been to Active Worlds, running the Library, so hey, requesting Landing Clearance!

Attention! All Insurgent AW users.

Due to the current situation in the Commanders' Village, the Secret Base will be closed until further notice. So far, it has not been located by the vandal, but I am not taking any risks. All requests for landing clearance should be delayed since I will not be replying to them until the situation is resolved. The base will be put on the second highest security alert, which means that no AW users will be able to navigate the base even if they know where it is.

In the meantime, enjoy the new BCM Demo.

Now that the situation in the Commanders' Village appears to be resolved, the Insurgent Secret Base is back in operation (Yippee! Yay! ).

It has new pics, sounds and entrance.

So, "Request Landing Clearance".

Uhm, just send everyone who's already posted new coordinates. There's no need to do all that again, I don't think.

The coordinates are the same as before. The entrance is at the same location; it just looks different.

Great work Manchise! Looks like I should dig up a pic for you.

I have made some changes to the secret base. The base now has some personnel on duty, a cleaner picture of the Culpepper Flag, a revamped office for the Base Administrator (guess who? ), and a designated area for transporters. I'm planning a few expansions in the near future as well.

For now, I need some links to the official fleet logos (have the new Spectre and Eversor logos by Eclipse been accepted yet?).

BTW, why does the Insurgent logo have a coffin in the background?

I have completed the expansions. The Secret Base is now twice its original size and features a launch bay with a shuttle and escort fighter (Yay! ). The shuttle is the new exit to the Commanders' Village (I never liked the teleporter). You can launch the escort fighter using the red button near my office and watch it through the viewport. Yippee!

I have a problem: The picture frames in the Secret Base are getting a lot of broken links.

Apparently, Andergum's website at Firstworld is down (this is where I got most of the pics). As a result, most of the Fleet Leader portraits and Starstation pics have been replaced by snow static.

I need new links to pictures of starstations Spectre, Destiny, New America, Sygan, and New Frontier.

I also need new links to portraits of Chavik, Ballinger, and Rattler (for some unknown reason, the pics of Akira and Andergum are still accessible from Firstworld).

Finally, I'm still waiting for replies to my previous questions (Have the Spectre and Eversor logos by Eclipse been officially accepted yet? Why does the Insurgent logo have a coffin in the background?)

Darn, I couldn't find Rattler's bar and grill last time I was there. That was where I remember pics being posted. Mine was there.

Anyway, the page my (old) pic is at http://members.aol.com/clind10107/index.html

The direct link to my pic should be http://members.aol.com/clind10107/chaz3.jpg

I really need a new pic. The beard and moustache are gone and the long hair is now short.

I have two pics of sygan. One is taken straight from the game. The one Derek posted a good while back when he posted BCM content now sanction for use. It's the same one you see when you choose sygan as your launch base in the demo. The other Commander Antilles (Eclipse) did for me. (Thanks Eclipse) he went into the game and snagged a pic and made it web freindly.

The small one I did is at http://members.aol.com/chavik/balor/fleet3.html and the large one Eclipse did is at http://members.aol.com/chavik/balor/fleet7.html

I have no idea about Spectre and Eversor logos.

I do know that I had previously mentioned the Ins logo outline "looking" like a coffin. It went over like a lead bomb. Cricket, cricket, cricket...silence; no response. I thought it was funny. It still is. I thought since I had already mentioned it you were joking. Spin it as you will. Live/die (coffin) by sword. Willing to die for our cause.

Best thing let it drop before savage and crew pick up on it and add that reference to bunnies.

Need anything else let me know.

Actually I think it symbolizes our sending the enemy back home in little wooden boxes.
