skeptic Posted February 20, 2002 Report Posted February 20, 2002 I remember that bc3000ad had time compression when it was shipped but the feature was removed in a later patch. It appears the feature is not in BCM. why? Waiting for repairs to be completed at a starbase is soooo increadibly dull and, above all, time consuming. you get into one bad firefight and your ship gets just about every one of its zillion conponents damaged and you need to sit in a friendly base for hours...literalty...waiting for 10 base engineers to complete the repairs on each and every single part. i dont have time to sit here in from of the computer for 2 hours JUST repairing my ship. now as this is my first post and i just got the game, i may be talking about something that has already been resolved. if there is a time compression feature or if there is some way to make major ship repairs less tedious, please let me know. if there isnt, please explain to me the justification of not having them. Wolferz Posted February 20, 2002 Report Posted February 20, 2002 This is Real Time space combat. If you can't do the time, you shouldn't have spent the dime. Actually it's a really good incentive to not get your ship torn up. Training your crew in a less travelled area and upgrading your systems will go far in reducing the down time. Good luck.
Gallion Posted February 20, 2002 Report Posted February 20, 2002 quote:...please explain to me the justification of not having them.1. RTFM. 2. There is no reason to justify anything. 3. What Wolferz said 4. This has been discussed a plethora of times before elsewhere on this forum. 5. Check your Topic Title spelling. 6. Topic closed.
