LostInSpace Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I was checking out the akella web site to see if there were any patches for Pirates of the Carribean but nothing so I went and checked out their other games and low and behold Akella is publishing the game in russia http://www.akella.com.. when you get to the main page look on the left and bring the mouse cursor over SIMULATIONS it's listed there. I tried to post the link right to BC page but it kept coming up blank when I clicked on it in my post. I like the box art better than the american release. Don't know if this was mentioned anywhere else in the BC forums.

I hate misspelling words. You are right I never noticed that on their game box but their BCMG page though does spell it right. I guess they have my syndrome they sometimes forget the extra N. Anyway, Looks like Akella is doing pretty good for itself. Ubisoft, JoWood (gothic 2), Team17 (worms), Running with Scissors (Postal 2) among others are using them as the Russian distribution so you are in very good company. I know BCMG (hah didn't have to spell Millennium there did I ooppps I just used it ) will do very well there.

Thanks for the proper link. Oh yeah, I forgot about the URL coding when ya link a page. Dammit that's the second mistake I made on this thread. click on the little box picture a bigger one will expand and that'll explain the sunflash it's coming from extremly bright lights inside a shuttle or a base facility from the looks of it. Don't forget to look a the spelling of Millennium on the box .

They seem to have changed the name in russian. It's "Kosmoflot", meaning "Space Fleet", or something like that. There's no mention of original name in the russian page, so that I could find it anyway.

The sky graphic is different. actually if you look real close at it(same for our version) you'll see that it really isn't a facility. it's actually a BC MK 3
