how do I add the -x0 command to my shortcut?

Howdy!

I was having some trouble with the game hanging up when trying to restore my saved games. I am using a dinosuar soundblaster live card. I read the troubleshooting suggestion about adding the

-xo or was it -x0? to my shortcut command line and hopefully fix this problem.

Trouble is, I'm a bit of a newbie & I wasn't quite sure how to go about doing that?

Could one of you computer geinus guys tell me a short step by step way to add that line so I can get my 2month old resnig guy pushed back out of the the@#$@#$!!! air lock???

It's /x0 (slash x zero).

You right click your BCM icon, then goto properties.

Where it says 'Target' you will see something like "C:/Program Files/Dreamcatcher/BattleCruiser Millenium Gold/BCM.exe"...

put a space after that then /x0 so it looks like

"C:/Program Files/Dreamcatcher/BattleCruiser Millenium Gold/BCM.exe" /x0

Then click OK, and you're done.

Btw...

"/x? : 3D sound processing. Where ? is one of the following:

/x0 : no 3d processing. All sounds are mono without distance attenuation

/x1 : no virtualization. Only basic positioning effects

/x2 : light HRTF*

/x3 : full HRTF*"

are the available settings. (You may want to play around with them.)

You may also want to visit www.soundblaster.com and make sure you have the latest sound drivers for your card?

Using a dash instead of a slash works as well.

Example:

"C:Program FilesDreamCatcher3000ADBattlecruiser Millennium Goldbcm.exe" -x0

The game works fine now & on high res as well!!

Resnig is still knocking on my airlock door outside of my Megatron battlecruiser! Maybe I can tow him & use him as bait for the insurgents? Gotta go now, & collect another 900million dollars & nuke some bad guys!
