DennyMala Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I've searched the forums for an answer but didn't find anything helpful..... How can I land with my CC or with a SC or FC on a planet surface...? I've tried to level my flight, stop and switch to VTOL flight mode, I lower my altitude but when I try to touch the ground the altitude never reaches 0 and if I stop using the trusters I will gain some meters of altitude. Is there a way to land, especially with shuttles since they can deploy craft and personnel there must be a way..... Help appreciated.....

Different languages use different standard for telling the same thing.....

I usually bring my craft down using VTOL (caps lock) and after burners to about 50 meters and then use CALS (shift-E) which takes the craft to the ground with a nice soft landing. edit: Or what Eclipse said.
