Blackstaff Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I have been reading the tips on trading and i am wondering if you are in roam what the no respon mode is. does that mean i will not be attacked in friendly space? So i will be about to jump 5 or 6 times and not have to worrie about being attacked when i am not watching. But i will still beable to fight in hostal space right?

admiraltigerclaw Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 He means no NPC autogeneration. It means that mode won't create random hostiles that will attack you. It's great for learning the controls. BEWARE, that stations an preset hostile areas will still be EVIL to you. The instructions for any mission you select ARE in the MISCON.

That should help me alot, i have killed more crew and crashed so many ships that i am suprized every time they let me have another one (grins) In the appindx it dosnt say to much about the exp los/gane for the grammolsn (spelling bad still learning english) i dont realy want to be a terrn military because i like to attack things befor thay attack me. but i like the ship with the good armor and shields i think it is 3500/3500 any ideas for a race/class?

(Spelling bad, still learning English.) I don't really want to be a Terran Military because I like to attack things before they attack me. But I like the ship with the good armor and shields. I think it is 3500 arm 3500 shield, any ideas for race/class? *END TRANSLATION* Don't forget to look at the HJ transit time, HJ recharge time, number of PTA turrets, and sublight engine speed. It helps to have a good balance, otherwise you're flying a slow moving fortress DOOM. I like actually getting to places... ON TIME.

Blackstaff Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Posted August 28, 2004 Ok what ship do you like more or think is better. i have got it down to 2 ships the Firestorm Super Carrier and the Megaron Heavy Carrier SCALE M/F Marines 20/40 Super Fighters 2/8 Heavy Fighters 2/0 Cargo 15000/10000 Speed 475/325 Shields 3500/1250 Armor 2500/7500 HJ recharge 90/90 HJ trans 120/180 Turret 10/10 Shots per second 13.33/10.00 I think the Firestorm will do alot more damage with the fighters and marines but its abit slower but has alot more defence. do you think that is a good choice?

Depending on who you meet, you could get one O dem thar rednecks... or the foo who wanna cap yo' @ss sucka! Or even the l337 who want to speak in nothing but l337 b3c4u53 7h3y 7h1nk 7h3y r0x0rz! Don't worry, you'll be upgraded from resnig (Who causes mayham wherever he is...) to Marine... (Who crash shuttles into the ground on a regular basis, but is otherwise okay to be around.) When you have 10 intruders on board running amok, and loading everything that isn't welded to the hull, and some things that were, into one of your shuttles and killing every crewmember that gets in their way, then you look at perscan and discover that Resnig is lounging in his quarters! At that moment you will realize what a total nincompoop he really is. If I could only tether and drag him behind my carrier while my pilots take target practice, Then I would be a happy commander. The good Doctor in Medibay has become quite adept at cloning his dumb ass in rapid succession. I ordered her to speed up his respawn because he provides so much entertainment for the crew. I should promote him to Morale Officer.

About every 10 Min i get radition on deck 2. I am in space with no damage at all. but i just upgraded my armor, shields, engien, and reactor to the max, dont know if that has something to do with it or not. It has been going on for hours or more i just have to keep cleaning it off the ship. now i can clean it up befor it gets to my crew but it is still bothers me. Anyone know why it is happing? P.S. Do you have to wate awhile befor you can dock on an hostal stations? i attacked one and got the shields down to 0 and the armor just about at 0 and it said invalid docking targed so i shot it some more and got the same message when i tryed to dock. I shot it somemore and it blow up. *shrugs*

As for the station, I hammer away until the armor's chewed up, then rotate and let some PTA's eat on the station until it goes into SOS. It's gotta go into SOS before you can CAPture it. Maybe you should just EMAIL me with all your questions before SC has a konniption fit, and goes on a massive post deleting spree and member obliterating spree. SC: *Is not himself.* AHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
