While playing in ROAM mode, When I took over a station, I ended up going over 25K XP, and got Fleet Commander Status. If I look in the ACM window it says I have Fleet Commander Status, but when I click on "Command" it doesn't give me the Fleet Command Option, and if I switch over to TACOPS, I don't get it there either. The only thing I can think of is that at the time I got promoted my COMMS officer wasn't on duty, (he was taking a nap) and the first time I tried clicking on Fleet Command in Tacops, it told me my Comms officer wasn't on duty. However, even after I got him on duty, I still don't have fleet command?? Is there something I'm missing?

Darkling Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 I gotcha, I could have sworn that Fleet commander was the rank required in Battlecruiser Millenium, I guess things have changed for UC, and I didn't notice until now.. hehe.
Ben Zwycky Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 nope, it was Strategic Commander back in BC3k v 2.01 (I still have the old pdf manual files from that), it's just the unfortunate name match that throws you.
