Considering a report in the NY Times on the subject that stated "The Federal Government has borrowed 3.2 trillion dollars from the SS fund since it's inception kind of leads me to believe that it is a PONZI scheme because, taking everyone's money and diverting it for other uses is about as shady as it gets. Now, Bush is promoting the hatching of a new scheme for Social Security. He sings. He dances. He slam dunks us, again!

Bush continues to spout this rhetoric about what's going to happen when us Baby Boomers retire and start drawing our promised funds and how there won't be enough cash inflow to cover the payouts.

If anyone buys that load of Hill Hogwash then they are just as much a Rah Rah Retard as the seller.

Q: So what happened to all the money we Baby Boomers have been paying in all these years?

A: Uncle Sam stole it.

Q: Are the Hill Critters really of the opinion that the Baby Boomers aren't going to be replaced in the workforce?

A: Yeah, they probably are since they seem to be doing everything in their power to assist Corporate America in screwing the working man. And fouling up the economy to boot.

I have stated my suggestion for fixing the problem so I won't be redundant and say it again.

Cool. I'm a cynic, especially when it comes to politics and money. Simply put, if they'd have kept their hands off of it and never diverted SS funds elsewhere we wouldn't *need* to fix SS.
