Most Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 The Kingdom of the High Command I created mine a few days ago, this is a fun little game.
Charles Lindsey Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 From the website--------------- quote:Thu, 13 Nov 2003 NationStates turns 1! Hard to believe, but it's true: this baby is one year old today. What started as a weird idea for a game that might help promote my novel has seen around half a million nations created, taken 750 million hits, become one of the most popular browser-based games on the internet, and, most impressive of all, developed an amazing community that sprung up from nowhere at all.Happy Birthday! And credit to Epsilon5 for finding it.
Terran Marine Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 Is there any screenshots for this game or is it all text?

Soback Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 ROFL Proposition/Issue: "The international community has appealed to Soback to increase humanitarian aid to the world's poorer nations." I think I will pick this answer here: "Talk about a way to flush chrips straight down the toilet," argues Think Tank member Tobias Wall. "What I've noticed is that whenever we do give something, it's never enough: a few years later they're back asking for more. The best way to help these poor nations is to stop shielding them from the logical consequences of their idiotic, long-debunked socialist economic policies." [Accept]

Charles Lindsey Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 If you remember the name you can email the mods and get it re-instated. That's what I did. If any of you wish to play with fellow 3000ad people come join the BCC Consortium region.

Soback Posted December 20, 2004 Report Posted December 20, 2004 The Rogue Nation of Soback is a huge, economically powerful nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 224 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which. The large, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Healthcare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6%. A healthy private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry. A National Academy regulates grammar and usage, fur coats have become the latest fashion trend, convicted felons are forced into slavery for their crimes, and referendums can be called for any law at the request of at least one third of the voting population. Crime is moderate. Soback's national animal is the eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the chrip.
