I picked it up too I saw some stars and spaceships on the box and had to have it!!!!Actually it feels a bit better than the demo... still a lumbering turning battle though pics , sound and music , General Chang / movies awesome. Ship destruction is really cool!!!looks like a keeper...Hmmmm... I like Terminus's physics but everthing else I've seen on that one sucks so far... this one is just the opposite AARRRGGHHH! Will anybody ever get everything we want into one game!!Oh wait I hear that there is a game called BCM being made... that just could be it!!Ah well, will just have to keep buying anything with stars and spaceships till its ready ------------------ Cmdr. It was like a cross between bridge commander (which I didn't think was all that hot), and Starfleet Command. More like Starfleet Command on a 3-D map. I could never get the cutscenes in the single player to play right and I don't think I ever found out why it was screwing up.
Serondal Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 In KA you could also teleport marines to planets, onto enemy ships, and to/from space stations just like in BCM (But before BCM came out ;P) You could capture enemy ships and then give them commands afterwards. You could also play online in a mode where all you did was trade across the galaxy (though you didn't actually pick what you baught, you kinda got jobs from space stations) One thing I'd like to see in BCG is the ability to target subsystems on enemy ships, but if BCG is anything like BCM enemy ships will just explode after a few shots. I can never seem to disable an enemy ship, (maybe I just go over board with my trigger finger and all the battles only last for a short span even with a lot of ships involved. Don't forget the black holes you could get sucked into with KA, that was one of my favorite areas to battle in, the area around the black hole Event Horizone(SP) I'm a horrible speller when I'm sick and tired.
