Guest $iLk Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 It's a decent enough game. There's just a few things I don't like about it. The land combat is great, but air and naval combat sucks and might as well not be in it.
GhengisX Posted May 29, 2003 Author Report Posted May 29, 2003 a lot like realtime CIV III i just loaded it, so no real opinion yet
Jerrai Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 played the demo, it was good for a nice diversion, but it plays to fast. i tried an economic build up, and the enemy was always close behind, i wasnt able to gain any real advantage, he had the same capabilities soon after i had them
Guest $iLk Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 It is possible to slow it down. But even so, by the time you reach the modern/information age, planes and ships have little purpose, considering you can select all your tanks, click across a body of water, and in between the two parts of land, all your land units turn into transports, and then back into land units on the other side. Leaving little point to a navy except to fish and destroy enemy naval buildings. Nukes are great though, in a capital domination game, nuke your enemies capital, and rush a huge force in to claim it. Then send in another force to harass his reinforcements.
