Charles Lindsey Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 ...Grandfather clock. Yes, you heard me right. I love my grandfather clock. I bought it for myself for Christmas. The Sun/Moon Dial is fake (painted on and doesn't move) but it's a real key wind mechanical movement with a swinging pendulum and beautiful chimes. What do you "love"?

Charles Lindsey Posted March 13, 2004 Author Report Posted March 13, 2004 Eh, I was thinking more of the one single material possession you love but had actually thought people would include emotional things. That's fine. Of course I love my dog, parents, the internet, etc. But I LOVE my grandfather clock. It is the one single fairly expensive purchase I have made that I do not regret one single iota.
Robstein Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 In that case I forfeit since I can't choose which material possession I love most.
echo Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Tie my new computer and my digital camera. I don't count my kids as material possessions should I?
Epsilon 5 Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 While i would say my computers, i have to admit there's a slight sentimental value in my bike, which was given to me by a friend after I gave him a HUGE help when he was in deep poo.
Cruis. In Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 i like my cell phone, since i just turned it back on and never used them before. i always hated seeing people use cell phones right next to land lines...but i figured i could use it for my job instead of a beeper.

Guest Grayfox Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 ok folks, lets keep this topic on track. if you want to post about weapons, i started a topic here
Charles Lindsey Posted April 9, 2004 Author Report Posted April 9, 2004 Pepper mill. Yup I love my pepper mill too. Fresh ground pepper has so much more taste than McCormicks Black Pepper you buy in the store. I currently have Target's gourmet peppercorn blend which consists of Malabar Black from India, Indonesian Muntok White, Ros├® Pink, and green peppers form Brazil. Good stuff.

weegee_101 Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Shingen, I want to have your babies.......... I love my personal mixing board. I've got a used Mackie 1402-VLZ, and the thing is one of the best mixers I've ever touched. It came with a shorted Ch. 1 Slider, but I've fixed it since I got it, and it works like it's never had an issue. I wish I had 2 cases of Black Widow's... but I'd probably get kicked out of the dorm
Reno Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 My most prized possesion? A 5-foot long plush toy of a white Pernese dragon named Ruth. A friend of mine made it for me, and me being the PERN fan I am, I cant get rid of it
El Che Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Cadburry's fruit & nut chocolate bars. It's one thing from my childhood that I'll never forget. My father used to bring them home and let us eat pieces of them ....just a square or two... i guess that's what made it such a treat.
