Wolferz Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Just to be technical, The people, for whom this holiday was created, were not actually Americans. It merely celebrates the survival of the first immigrants from settled Europe. The first immigrants welcomed them by helping them survive the first winter. Little did they know that this first trickle of immigrants from the globe would turn into an unstoppable deluge. A deluge that has continued into the present era. We like Turkeys. We must really love them because we have so many.
