I mean, how long have I been complaining about the damn money necessities?

Hambin, if you didn't want to participate in the thread, you should not have posted, period.

Trading Guilds/leagues/Alliances

quote: Originally posted by Joel Schultz: Did any of Square's FF games have anything to do with each other?Dumb question, maybe, but I've only seen FF7, FF8 and whatever their current one is (9 or 10). From what I remember reading, there weren't any really "continuous" plot strands or sequel/prequel deals - IIRC, they never even kept the same magic system twice... [ 07-03-2001: Message edited by: Joel Schultz ] In answer to your question, no, they didn't. The plots were all different, also some of the game elements were the same. Spuzzum: What on Earth are you drinking and where can I get some?

It IS based on the Final Fantasy series made by SquareSoft. Not any particular game though as they were all different. In fact, the name of the production company is "Square Films".

I read that one at http://www.cybercheese.com . I recommend that everyone with a sense of humor spends time perusing its pages.

Joel: It wasn't going to be broken up into two competing Windows companies - it was going to be one company for the OS and the other for the software. I do agree with your points, though. Jaguar: Absolutely correct.

Guys, nothing can be done. Purchase a membership, and the problem is solved.

You'd get to see where it all began. c) You can fire it up and play it on your Pentium 100 while you're waiting for your GeForce to arrive in the mail. d) You can show your children the wonderous midi music that Daddy used to listen to while playing computer games. And finally, the number one reason why SC should include the original BC3K in the BCM release... It still kicks Wing Commander's **s all over town, into next Tuesday. It's too bad about the Interplay thing. It's nice when developers do that. In this case, I understand why you can't. Yes but BCM has every feature of the original.

quote: Yeah, thats true. Mike is already hosting. Go with the upstager.LOL! quote: Yeah, I know. Ya get what ya play for. Guess I really wasn't mad at them, just doing all that freakin' work for nuthin' really suked! Hey mike, where's u'r site at? You can find it at http://www.infinitevisionnet.com/hosting . However, until mid-July, you'll have to sign up directly with me via email or on the phone. Still in the process of setting up the interface for all that stuff. Everything works as designed and is ready to go - just need for the Web part of signing up to be completed.

Heh, what Blades said. Except I already offer it with local US pings. Send email.

I go through all the headache of getting my webpage online and ready to open, and they go a freakin DELETE EVERYTHING and say that they're NOT hosting public sites anymore! No word, no warning, no NOTHING! If that ain't a SERIOUS disregard for your users then I don't know what is! I'd hate to see what happened if these freakin' losers opened a PAY site! Seriously, don't blame a bunch of teenagers for persuing a hobby. I mean, what did you expect? They had a server in a cardboard box! Most Web hosts have servers that are properly encased, in climate controlled environments with HARSH security.

$ilk, don't fret it. Your fleet commander won't get on your for this nor should your status on this board be changed. However, whomever did this was most likely from this community, and that saddens me. I mean, unless these vandals kept good records of everything, how would they have been able to change everything back? My old recommendation stands - time to get a membership.

I see. Carry on then.

Yay! ).It has new pics, sounds and entrance. So, "Request Landing Clearance". Uhm, just send everyone who's already posted new coordinates. There's no need to do all that again, I don't think.
-
Shouldn't be a problem, considering there are no police from other races at this time. Besides, if there ever are, I doubt that you'd be working with them. Different races/different laws.
-
For realism's sake, I doubt that all species would agree on a singular logo. Each would surely have different ideologies and as such, a logo to represent them all would be impossible.

quote: Originally posted by Epsilon 5: Which coords do you want? Surely you jest. The coordinates of where these pictures are being placed. Also, everyone here should be forewarned: if ANYONE in this community is found to be placing pornographic material ANYWHERE in relation to Battlecruiser, they WILL be banned from this site, permanantly - no appeals will be heard. I honestly doubt that any of you are responsible but, I have a SERIOUS problem with ANYONE who would make such images readily available to children. Also, whomever sends me those coordinates, please do so in private - we don't need to broadcast it where younger people may be reading. I'd look for them myself, but I prefer not to see such smut.
-
Is anyone going to send me the coordinates or am I just spinning my wheels? Hamblin: Stop it, man. This old heart of mine is weak and can't handle the shock.

quote: Originally posted by Spuzzum: My point was that if you have the bird, it won't be a universal police caste logo anymore. Yes, I liked #4 the best, and for a Terran/Police logo, it looks great. But for a Droidan/Police... well, that just doesn't fit at all. (When I said it was too flashy, I was referring to #2... just for everyone's future and present reference. ) There is NO universal police organization. The closest to that would be GALCOM.

Guys, I'll report this to AW but there really isn't a damned thing we can do about it. Paying members won't find their works adultered, but non-paying members should be forewarned that anyone can change your work. Anyway, someone send the coordinates of what is happening to me via private message or email to [email protected] and until further notice, do NOT change anything. There's no need to cover up the evidence of this. Just simply stay out of AW for awhile or become a member so your work can be preserved. Thanks, Mike [ 06-23-2001: Message edited by: aramike ]
