they should license your engines, but you wouldn't sell would ya, and plus they'd probably take years to figure out the "dynamics of your matrix" the only thing missing from uc as I see it, is the button to push which brings you to a first person view inside your craft etc... that being said, I am a but for that little defiant ship and I'd like to control one under those "ideal" mechanics.

Ivan passed south of us, only close enough for storm winds. But it was originally headed for us, just went down south at the last moment, it hit grenada instead and they have suffered. now jamaica's turn. and we in the caribbean don't have underground cables, all power lines on wooden poles still...I mean our tech is up there, t3 this dsl, but it's all above ground. The people in grenada won't have power for weeks in some parts.

I get 60 in space and 4-5 on the ground, not complaining just adding my own. plus I don't think my radeon 9000 is supported even though it meets pixel and vertex shader requirements for UC. i run in 1024*32, I have all options set to the best they can be for visuals when on the planet, i.e nothing disabled in config. But I'll play around with the colour depth and settings see if I get higher, I love swooping down on the planet bases with a cap ship.

i tried changing it, but it didn't have the white space to enter the address for it any more when i clicked to edit profile, it just has select different avatar, and the pictures, no where to enter a custom address.

maybe setting it higher causes the solar panels to store power in the solar reactor so even when you are not facing the sun, it still has the charged power in its reactor which therefore in emergencies can still power the ship even though you are not angled toward the sun. which would be kin unto how a submarine operates on battery power. to conserve power or to run silent.

if I remember tigerclaw, not to really like make it a who's right who's wrong sort of thing, but you did "complain" in one of your earlier posts about your great difficulty in locating drones, you've now clarified 10 seconds 2 seconds, but you used the words difficulty at first. quote:I just have to set up a point so I know where to find them... you can just click on the zoom menu tiger claw, and click zoom to, support units, any drones on the planet will be listed, you don't have to look for them on the tacops map presented when you first observe earth. then when you zoom to use pagedn to zoom out and place your way point, it only zooms out to a certain distance so your waypoint is still 'LOCAL'

firstly you should set a way point for your shuttle near the dones. so it enters the earth in that area. secondly if you go it urself in the shuttle then same goes for the way point and when you get there so you can see your drones, there's this little thing called support unit locator to the left of the middle vdu. or you can click on the gnd button to see units on the ground, being that you entered near them using the way point you should see them.

I wish it was a little faster on the planet for me. I love flying over a mission zone with my CC and letting my PTA's do the work. The dorsal ones knock off the fighters fast and the ventral ones rain death down below. I also get lower than radar and eventually lose all the locks and launches against me and just hover there. I didn't really want to buy a new computer... but it seems when I do away in december, which is as good a time as any.....I'll be back with something faster than a 3ghz... and some video card with like 256 ram. And from guessing I think BCO will run fine on that, since it's using alot of the same stuff from UC. Even though it'll have certain graphical upgrades, I hope what I buy should be ahead enough. Now we just have to wait for all that overtime money from almost a year ago. Splurge... I wonder if I should buy a desktop or laptop again, I've quite enjoyed UC on this laptop... plus now that I actually have a desk, when I set up on the desk instead of the bed its just as comfortable as if it were a desktop. And I like to move around with it. so I think so darn the sc for making me buy another PC!

hurricane is coming, and I've recently put a notch on my service pistol...so enough to say I've had and have problems.

Ok I surrender my vet status for battlecruiser temporarily, assuming I ever had it. This is UC, not BC. So since playing on and off over the last few months, somethings have bugged me, some changes. Like the way when you jump to a target you are about 100 - 200k out and have to fly the rest of the way on this slow slow thrust, which supposedly is afterburn. And then the next problem is this max thrust is about 260 or so in my Questar Heavy Cruiser. This has just slown the over all pace of the game for me, coming from bcm. can't really hear my pta fire... anyway there is a hurricane coming so I'm going to charge my batteries to play through UC on it.

thats what happened to me. I wanted to delete a single save slot. and it deleted all. heh... so 4 mining drones gets you how much millions??? because I'm talking I want like 200 million If it gets me 20 million fine i can start with that, because trading up will be quicker instead of starting with 1 mil from spare parts. how many real time hours for a mining drone to fill. I really wish these later ones had time compression. and I don't need more than one ship to destroy the galaxy. I just need a lot of time.

hey are there any cheats, programs debug mode, anyway to get quick bucks. I lost an entire game with millions of bucks right as I was going to destroy the galaxy with my ship. I can't do over all that cumbersome training, please there must be a way!

ok that's why the ones who were there had a higher life support. and why the bridge crew, though bold but silly were gasping on the ground in their 30's.

i had this problem recently. I sold all but 200 radine, but by the time I was fniished all my hours of trading that radine had run out. I leanred this by alt-e and entering the command craft. So I went and bought radine in the shuttle and came back but no power to launch control. So I towed the ship a bit and the solar panels lit up and I had enough for launch control and life support, the poor people was starving for air. Im glad both shuttles were not present because that damn coward crew were heading for the exits, all of them were in shuttle launch bay according toperscan. abandoning the ship those fools, I would have shot anyone I saw off the ship. But it reminded of the topic recently where someone asked what is the use for solar panels, here was a good one, an emergency situation no matter even if stupidity brought it to fore.
