my computer doesn't run multiplayer on the planet well at all.

hey all, I know you have not seen my face here in a while. As the topic says, it's where my job has taken me these last few months. It was a stressful time, and I'm near the end of my assignment, which is purely paper oriented so I have some time to be at home now. Haven't been seeing home recently very much. Looking to get back into the games and relieve some stress Picked up an xbox, decided to go console because it is easier. less expensive, one every 4 years or so, and not as expensive as a computer. and I don't play that many games so the price of them won't bother me. So I had my first encounter with Halo and I loved it. got it for PC too so I could play multiplayer. Can't wait for part 2. I was just reminiscing about games, I find that no matter how good a game is if it's linear or fairly linear or has a story line, I just can't play through it again I don't have the will. Take for example kotor it's been almost a year since I finished it on the PC...and I don't have a heart to do it again, of course my first time through I did all the side quests...but I've read on some forums gamers who play it over and over back to back.... I guess I'm not much of a gamer then. I tend these days to stick to top of the line, best selling, great reviews, most wanted games, or of a particular license. So Halo 2, doom 3, half life 2 I'll buy straight off the bat. I'll buy star trek or star wars games that I like, because there some that are terrible and I can't buy them just because they're star trek or star wars. I find myself playing starfleet command 3 again with either the generations at war mod or the Dominion Wars mod, which significantly increases the fun factor by adding every ship you've probably seen in the ST universe, and making the gameplay and pace of the game more intense than the original. so as usual what games is everyone playing or looking forward to. who has an xbox, and who liked halo, and wants to play halo 2, I haven't seen an announcement of the PC version if there is one to be. I'd like to get ninja gaiden, fable, halo 2, doom 3, kotor 2... as for UC I started a fresh game as galcom with a questar, I had grand plans of getting millions of credits, refitting, stocking up on supplies fuel and weapons, and going on a role play single handed invasion of Gammula Prime heh... however fate was not to be after 2 days of intense shuttling of weapons to wraith to make my million dollar mark, I accidently clicked delete in the save profile which deleted all 10 of the individual slots. I had 10 saved games as I save to a new slot each time, all gone, I was so pissed I wanted to break the disc in half and burn the manual. I wanted to use playmod to get back my money etc etc...but didn't see any, are there any cheat codes for UC?? I want to play but I can't do all that boring shuttling again, it was fun the first time though tedious, but I can't do it all over!

hey there, I'm still alive. as a side note, anyone know where I can order an xbox online that will ship international? gamestop ebgames, amazon, everyone has that they are not allowed to ship this product international....why i cant fathom, some games are like that too. i realise it is anything made by microsoft. i had this problem with knights of the old republic and someone had to send it for me.

legal action is a waste of time in cases like this. in cases like this if he makes good on threats of stalking, just make some spare time and spend a day every week at the shooting range, if he steps on the property shoot him. you already know his intentions. un official advice from a police officer

yeah copy arrives on friday, i estimate 2 weeks to new internet connection and new computer. I wonder if ill have trouble playing on the planet in multiplayer...after all i want to be at all those in person insurgent meetings planet side..with our command crafts parked in the background i might be able to get a max of 100k connection, which is better than modem anyhow... guess ill goof off in single player until i get that connection. been having fun with the demo, and from i hear about the 2.0 patch it should be a whole different experience.

I think ill get the radeon 9800 pro that comes with the computer ill buy. then later on get the x800 and maybe by then there'll be a price drop.

Im looking at the radeon 9800 xt and pro. Would I be correct in saying the XT is faster in some way? which is the better card in terms of performance? also how does the x800 do...does anyone have one? what is geforce ultra card is the comparable option to the radeon 9800.

took 17 hours for my package to arrive. Hasn't been delivered yet though. I can wait. UC also seems to run fine on my little laptop. see specs in sig to see what I mean. I'm guessing a fleet engagement would slow it down, but im wondering how big of one. But I'm ready to order a new computer though.

lol, ok that brief exchange there was funny. Now I have always liked the Questar because of the many turrets and it also had the dinstinctiveness of being one of the better looking ships. But I also like the bcmkII. the megaron looks fast becoming a super ship.

well not a collector or anything, but just a glock 17. 17 rounds...18 if you chamber one then put another in the 17 round mag. its 9mm. since using the glock I kind of like NOT having a hammer and no external safety to worry with. but guns with hammers are fun. glock is just the law enforcement choice. other than tactical officers who use usp's. ive fired a 303, heh heh weird, and m16 love the m16 it's accurate.
