  1. More on my problem: This problem hasn't always been around, I think. In the beginning things worked out ok. I think. I think I'll try re-installing. It's amazing what kind of problems that has solved before. It's a rather clean dump to desktop. Once the explosion takes place (within or without my sight) the harddisk begins working and my fps drops (of course, with that much hdd activity) and after some random number of frames (less than 10, up to 2.5 seconds)it begins drawing my desktop instead of updating my game screen. I can try recreating the debug logs with another such crash, and store them for later in case you want them. I couldn't find much of interest in them since they weren't anywhere near verbose enough. *eagerly awaiting episode 2* btw, aren't the rest of the episodes coming fairly fast, if they are gonna end with the gold release?

Doesn't a traitor get the death sentence if caught (depends on where you live)? ......And don't tell me any bull that you're too fast and they'd have to catch you first . Just don't get cocky. Watch yourself; us indies are becoming a target to some Galcom and Insurgent peeps. Blackmailing? Having some critical info ready to reveal to the ins's unless they publicly gave him the ship? However they wanted to cover the fact up? Whatever the results, other gals might not be so friendly, depending on what that "excuse" might be. Oh, and the danger of the info revealed is expired but the gift has not... quote: I'll be floating around. My RL is getting really busy, so I won't be RPing as much until around June/July. Too bad, considering you're the centerpiece of the story. It would perhaps even be worth it to put it on pause, but at least we should make it slow...
  3. My problem appears without "/d", with "/d1", "/d2", "/d3", and "/d4". In fact it also happened when I tried /d4 /w, not that I'm very probable to do that again. (And I think SC will let that stay unsupported, since he's got his wits around)

It contains two 'a's - and it's a short for my full name, in case you're wondering where I got the name from. Coming from a congress (or whatever, the equal of E3 for games) of scientists within the area that you people are heading into. Right before going through a jumpgate a couple gates before meeting you, I detect heavy cloak discharges (those emd-like display spikes) - I tell you of it, making you reconsider your travel route. It being a bit longer, and perhaps giving you other challenges? Perhaps I will be invited to peek ahead of the group from there? That I leave in your hands, Shingen.
  5. I will try to join in if I see some point where I may fit in. Oh, and whoever said that (falx?) I haven't heard of ter/sci fighters... I have an idea of how to fit in. Just have to wait until the fight is over.
  6. Shall we try find a solution to this? A dogfight occurs. A space object, from fighters and shuttles to station-sized, explodes. If there is anything within the blast radius, I'm looking at my windows desktop within a couple seconds....... This is the only joy-spoiler for me, but it does that job well

  8. As BCM comes out, I thought of being e.g. scientist. However, unlike military, police, raider, trader, etc. there is little to tell me what they actually do. What place do they have in the BC universe?
  9. I noticed you can use 'f' to designate a target for navigation. That way, you can also have a quick exit from a heated battle with a shift-9.
