The usual response to this is to update your mouse driver. I will admit that doing this solved my problem of not being able to save at all but did not fix my "can't save in ACM" problem. I have found that using a slot other the first one for my commander will allow me to save with no problems in ACM. I've discovered one more problem but again it goes back to the BC3K map: Herin and Scorpia are not marked on the map as sharing a jump gate, but from my last visit to the Trenis system, it's clear that there is indeed a Herin/Scorpia jump. This jump is not detailed in the GBS docs or anywhere else for that matter. I had figured that something like a bad case of trollers might have been the cause. There is a rather nasty way to make them avoid you though: SPAM Bait.
