  1. Welcom back!! And yes, even I noticed you hadn't been around so don't sell yourself short, er... unless you are short. Things are getting closer so hope you can get a solution worked out to your satisfaction. CUL ps. sigs have changed per the SC. ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation ICQ 4669033
  2. LOLOLOLOLO, TAC, I doubled over so fast from laughing sooo hard I almost smacked my head on the desk! Now I've got stomach and face aches!! ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation ICQ 4669033
  3. Well, what ever happens I would like to see the RP get started again before all momentum is lost. I also noticed that Joy Ride had begun to switch from free from to a more controlled rp. I will post either way and make every effort to stay in any guide lines. No hard feelings here and none intended. ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation ICQ 4669033
  4. grr.... okay, I think my sig is in confromance... again... if not, let me know before i get booted ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation ICQ 4669033
  5. Hi Blades, Joy Ride was my first RP and it was fun because of the spontineity(sp?) of the participants. Had me checking it 2 to 3 times a day just to see if a new twist had been added. Personally, I agree with Akira. This RP started free form and as one of the early participants I would like to see it continue as free form. I know that Akuma started Joy Ride so if she wants to have it switch in mid-stream, that's fine with me. If this really does go to a strict line with you as the 'director' I won't throw a snit fit and quit. But I also won't make a hard line promise to "stay under the speed limit" either, mainly because I don't know what the restrictions would be. Despite my badgering you about being a lemming , I do think that your an excellent writer and have put in some great twists and ideas, but I do feel strongly about this. I didn't speak up sooner because I'm fairly new to the board and real new to the RP world and Rattler asked me to go slow. Akira broke the ice so to speak so here's my nickles worth. I don't mean to be rude and please don't take this personally, but please take it into consideration. Thanks, ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation "Do or do not, there is no try!" 6. I read it as appling to all. The question has already been posed as to the ship motto, so waiting Derek's response on that. I believe that I have my fleet db and sig is done correctly. If not would someone please tell me what I need to change. ------------------ Commodore Wold ICV-Drakr, Spectre Starstation Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation "Do or do not, there is no try!" 7. The time frame for this post may overlap some other action that hasn't happened yet. I'm at the Theta anchorage waiting for Rattler's lead on that. So..... [rp] The ICV-Drakr had a weird, mixed atmosphere about it. Nothing that scrubbers, air circulators, or any other electrical device could detect, but present non-the-less. Contributing to this was the appearance of no ryme or reason to the activities aboard the ship. Some crew members were working long shifts while others tackled their tasks an hour or two at a time. And dress....ooh boy was it a mix! Everything from formal evening ware (must have a ship-board date somewhere) to the Hawaiian baggie shorts and flip-flops. Some of it was a real eye-sore. The marines doing the usual intruder prevention tour actually appeared incongruent to the scene. But the atmosphere was generated from deeper then that. It was the emotional kick-back from recent events. The events of being shot at, having a terminated spy as a leader, destruction of the GCV-Galatia brought home by the cameras, lack of news from the away team in Varan, and the final loss of ICV-Nevermore with Akira missing. One could sense the emotional let-down, almost fatigue, yet it was missing the expected feeling of depression from loosing the second highest leader of the Insurgency. The taste of steel was also in the air, weaving it's way through the hearts and minds of those that made Drakr a living creature. For some reason I tended to eat in the cafateria instead of my own quarters. More then one crew member thought I was nuts because of my preferences. "A penny for your thoughts?" a deep, husky voice interupts my mental wandering. Looking up from my bacon-cheese burger I see Mulgrey with a tray of food standing at my table. Her uniform's condition being as it was, she was wearing a casual, yet undeniably flattering black knit dress with slits on the sides. Where she had acquired this, I didn't know. My staring at her for several seconds was cause enough for her to begin getting nervous over her intrusion. Realizing I was being rude, I gave myself a mental shake and nodded at the chair across from me. "I'm sorry, Ma'am. I didn't mean to be rude there, please have a seat." Giving her a wry smile I answered her question "That won't make me much money." She tilts her head in puzzlement, "Please, call me Kate and what do you mean it won't make you much money?" Chuckling, "I only have one thought and since your giving me a penny for each one that only makes me one cent richer. Kate, my thoughts were on my wife. During that episode in Jupiter space I received word that an Insurgent base was under attack on Varan. We have heard nothing from our away team and imagination being what it is...." I finish with a slight shrug. "No one knows that but you Kate, I trust that you'll keep it that way." The smile quickly fades from her face with this news, and the conversation lags. The meals finished she heads back to sick bay to see how Hamblin and the others were doing while I head off to see how repairs had progressed. The seeds of a friendship had been planted. Five days have passed. Several of the less wounded Galcom crew members had been released from sick bay and to their astonishment been given guest quarters and no guards. The fourth crewman's left arm had almost completed regen and Hamblin was under heavy medication for some internal complications. Kate was reading a Harlequin romance book on a datapad while lounging next to Hamblin's bed when I entered sick bay. The medical attendant gave me that pained look that spoke volumes about too many visitors harassing the sick. Knowing it wouldn't do any good to speak her mind, the attendant left the room. Kate answered my question before I could voice it, "He's doing much better, Shannon. Technically he could be taken off life support and transfered to Galcom, though the doctor says a few more days would be better." After a brief pause she looks around to make sure no one was listening and continues in a different vein. "You sure run a different ship here. I saw a guy wearing a lime green tank-top, bright red shorts with yellow diaginal strips, and a mouth full of chew working in a trace-way. Tools and parts scattered around, effeciency has got to stink! Hamblin wouldn't, uh, I mean, oh my, we've known each other for less than a week, and I'm already telling you how to command a starship?" She chuckled at that, as though she'd just made a rather funny joke. I grin back at her knowing full well that my superior officers would have gotten grey hairs over how my ship was being run at that moment. I wasn't worried even though I knew that it resembled a circus on tear-down day. In a few days the crew would have the emotional break they needed and be back on track. Wanting to change the subject before she put her foot in her mouth again Kate asks a diferent question. "How long have you and your wife been together?" Smiling with a far away look in my eyes, "Fourteen years if you count the two year engagement." "How do you do it, stay together through all this?" "Oh, it's not too hard Kate. The trick is in the memory and the focus. For example, Take the Drakr here. She's a nice ship but she's lost that 'new' shine. I know every imperfection. I know her quirks, idiosyncrocies, strengths and weaknesses. Certain things seem to break like clock work while others run forever. I'm familiar with this ship. When I see a new ship, or maybe even a used one, they always look perfect. No flaws, no quirks, no faults. Yet the cmdr. of that ship knows their own ship like I know mine. People are the same way Kate. You are a beautiful person. What you did on the Galatea and what you've done on my ship since show's your strengths while your faults remain hidden or distant. There is no perfect ship and no perfect person. My wife is dear to my heart because I keep her strengths and weaknesses in my mind. We work as a team countering each other's weaknesses while focusing on the strengths." We finish chatting about some other things then I head back to the bridge to see if I have any news from the away team. Four days later we get news that the away team is back at Spectre Starstation with my wife and that all Varan personel were safe. Tactical spots a neutral transport ship and arranges a short rondeavue. At the docking tube my officers and I say our farewells to the Galcom personel. They leave the ICV-Drakr with new insight into the heart of the Insurgency, knowing that not everything they heard from Earthcom, Galcom, and the UFN about the mad bunnies was true. [/rp] UHG! Hamblin, your trying to strain my brain!! Hope that fits with what you had in mind. 10. I'm not sure I buy that lazy bit Hamblin, I've read your other posts in this epic! Hummmm..... tink tink, thump creeeeeeck, pop.... hick.. shwump-tank. There, think the brain's engaged now [rp] BACK in Varan at a highly compromised base... The PLAN was engaged and while there was an extreme sense of urgency there was no panic. There wasn't a person in that base ignorant to the fact that the day would come when their home was compromised. Drills were run weekly to keep everyone in sync with their rolls. There was very little that could go murphy by now that hadn't already gone murphy in the past and been fixed. C & C, command and control, had activated the probe the instant that first wave of interceptors had hit the base. The only red blip was a Galcom vessel, the GCV-Kuari. The scope showed several shuttles in geosyncronys orbit above the base, waiting for their orders to flee the system. These ships carried the most critical data and all children. When the new base was secured everything would be filtered back in. Ground preperations where getting the last touches applied. Trenches and bunkers were sparsely, but adaquately popluated by human shaped robots. The programming in the robots was very specific to give the appearance of an active resistance for both air and ground assault. Some were even programmed to run for cover. All those remaining were scattered between underground bunkers or "safe houses" just outside the compound. Schlynk, Ralph, and a very ticked-off Raven were in the backup C & C. Schlynk had long since given up on calming Raven. The only thing at this point that could molify her would be to fry Lance's clone with a blaster, at close range. Schlynk chuckled thinking that her true hair color had to be red. He continued scanning the base's personel list, more from bored curiosity then anything else. Near the bottom of the list his heart skips a beat. Reading the name again he shakes his head. No way, can't be! Not in a universe this big! Must be a different person with the same name, but.... "Commander!" The base commander looks up at Schlynk as he shows the commander the list. "Is Nancy Wold married and is her husband a ship commander?" The base commander blinks in surprise at the question. He shrugs and pulls up Nancy's information on his datapad. Purshing his lips as he scrolls through the information his tired eye's finally spot the answer. "Yes Sir, she is. She's a medical officer and is currently on shuttle five. Anything else?" Schlynk turns a cold penetrating look into the base commanders eyes, "Yes there is. Raven will be flying that shuttle with Ralph and I on it. IC's 3 & 4 are going to escort that shuttle. She is my commanding officer's wife. If ANYTHING bad happens to her, Cmdr. Wold would do something so terrible that a 50 megaton nuke would look like a birthday candle, regardless of what his orders are." A soft all clear bleep is heard from the tactical computer as the scope registers the departure of GCV-Kurai. The orbiting shuttles follow their pre=arranged orders and head to their preselected jump points at maximum speed. The remaining shuttles and the three IC's finish the last second preping along with the changes dictated by Schlynk. The base commander wasn't pleased by the last second changes but it wasn't too drastic as his evac plans hadn't included the extra hardware. The sudden shift from normal light to the flashing red with the accompanied angry bleep marked the arrival of the Galcom interceptors into Varan space. The Galcom interceptors noticed the fleeing shuttles but knew they were too late to catch them before they jumped from Varan. Besides, the orders were to remove that base of operations, not chase shuttles. They came in low and fast marking the SAMS and AA first. Their passing was marked by small arms fire from robotic ground units with explosions of SAM launchers and AA guns. After the third pass the approach vector for the interceptors had changed to the correct angle for the Insurgent's last ploy. To the shock of the Galcom pilots 8 shuttles and 3 interceptors exploded from an underground launching bay and headed directly away from them at ground hugging level. The Galcom pilots snapped their sticks over and hit the afterburners to chase down this new prey. As the lead interceptor crossed the compound the world exploded in a huge mushrooming ball of fire, radiation, electronic hash and wind. The small, tactical nuke had detonated as planned. Two IC's vanished in the fire-ball, a third was slammed to the ground from the shockwave, and the remaining four were so badly damaged that further persuit was impossible. Those four would make it back to a safe haven reporting that the insurgent base was a total, radiated loss, nothing salvageable remaining. Schlynk exhaled a huge sigh of relief knowing that he had succeeded in assisting the rescue of the base and getting Nancy safely back to Spectre Starstation. [/rp] Okay, my brains dropped a cog so Thurs. evening sometime, I'll post the approx. week of having a wounded Hamblin on my ship and then have him delivered to a neutral transport ship, somewhere. ------------------ Commodore Wold Spectre Fleet Commanding Officer, Spectre StarStation ICV-Drakr "Do or do not, there is no try!" 12. It's been soooo long since I posted to this one hope I can remember what I was doing [rp] Karen looks around the medical bay as the last of the most critically injured is transported over to the ICV-Drakr. Three people so badly burned from a combination electricity, radiation, and 'plain' old fire that even with modern medicine she didn't have much hope for their survival. Looking at the unconscience Cmdr. Hamblin, she tags him for the transporter. Her thumb just begining to press the transmit button to have Cmdr. Hamblin transported over, some movement in the doorway catches the corner of her vision and she freezes. Standing in the doorway was an officer supporting a mangled crew member in her left arm. The crewman was fading in and out of consciousness with his eyes rolling around. He appeared to be taller then the officer holding him up, but due to his sloutch it was hard to say. His left arm had been ripped off at the shoulder by some spent force. The bleeding stopped sortly after by cautorization and his uniform was beyond recognition. Her face was worn and haggard, yet anger, fire, and frustration showing in her eyes. Her once emaculate Galcom uniform was torn in multiple places, showed burn marks, was soaked in blood, and heavy smudges of dirt, grease, and soot. Judging by her stance, most of the blood must have been from the others she had been helping. Her right hand sported an unwavering military issue blaster pointed across sick bay at Karen's head. All movement on the bridge and for that matter the rest of ICV-Drakr stopped as that scene showed on the monitors. The lower right corner of the screen showed the tip of an assult rifle pointed at Mulgrey from the marine behind Karen's back. [/rp] I thought about having a commercial break leaving this hang here... but Blades did say that my shuttles left so I'm going to continue it. [rp] Mulgrey staggering under the weight of a barely conscience crewman approaches sick bay. Something triggers in the back of her mind as the sciene in sick bay hits her eyes. Her right hand palms the blaster and snaps it towards a woman at her Cmdr. Hamblin's side. Her trigger finger stops just before the last of the slack in the trigger is gone. She was so exhausted that it hadn't even registered in her mind as to why the blaster was in her hand or the fact that she didn't fire. A few slow seconds slide by as realization of what she is seeing dawns on her fatigued mind. A marine with an assult rifle pointed at her chest and a medical officer kneeling at her Cmdr. Hamblin's side....both Insurgents. She then wonders why the marine hadn't iced her already. With a mental shrug she gently moves the blaster back into the holster, looks at Karen and whispers "What now?" A collective sigh of breath being released is heard throughout Drakr as it became apparent that Mulgrey wasn't going to shoot. "STATUS CHANGE" Shouts Tac as the board erupts with angry red dots showing warmongers and shuttles. I smack the comms over ride button to the away team "Karen, times up! Load up and get back NOW!". The sudden burst of comms on Karen's radio nearly ignights the fire-fight in sick bay that had just been avoided. Karen looks at Mulgrey, shrugs, "Ma'am, I can have all three of you beamed over to ICV-Drakr for immediate attention, or you can all stay here. I don't know what has changed." Mulgrey looks at her Cmdr. lying on the deck and knew there wasn't much choice. This wasn't what she had in mind for here Galcom career, but at least she would be with Hamblin. In a husky voice, "Transport us over Ma'am, and thank you." Karen nods and thumbs the transmit button. Four seconds later Mulgrey, Cmdr. Hamblin, and one more mangled crewman are aboard the ICV-Drakr. With both shuttles at maximum speed to the Drakr, Karen's thoughts are to those she and her team didn't get to and to what she can do for the ones that she did. My stomach begins to churn as the view screen switches to full view of the Nevermore and the mauling she was getting. It became immediatly apparent that Akira was in serious trouble and some unforseen game was at play. The priority comm light flashes on my command chair and Rattler's new orders roll across the screen. Not wanting to disappoint Rattler the message is immediatly passed onto the shuttles. Karen's face pops into my comms screen, "Sir, the able bodied Galcom personel have been transfered to Galcom shuttles. My medics informed me that we have five Galcom peronnel attached to life support on the Drakr. If we disconnect them it will kill them. One of those is Cmdr. Hamblin. The sixth person is officer Mulgrey and she is in sick bay with Hamblin. Karen out." "Nav, plot a course to Anchorage Theta. Hold course until I signal. I'll be in sick bay." Entering sickbay a defient look from Mulgrey greated me. I noticed that her blaster was missing. "Marine, give her the blaster back." He looked at me was about to protest then wisely remembered that I was in charge and promptly handed the weapon back to Mulgrey. "Ma'am, I'm under orders by Rattler, Insurgent Commander, to return you all Galcom peronel back over to Galcom shuttles. You and the five here in sick bay are all that is left. My medical officer Karen has informed me that these five will die if removed from life-support. We will free them as soon as they are medically able and we are in a safe position to do so. The decision is yours." Mulgrey takes a long look at Hamblin, took a deep breath and whispers "We stay." Nodding I leave wondering if the loyalty was more then just the stripes on Hamblin's sleeve. Back on the bridge Nyguen opens an all ship channel. ********************** This is Cmdr. Wold. All Galcom peronel have been returned, save six people. Five of those are too badly wounded to remove from life-support. The sixth is Officer Mulgrey who has chosen to stay as a laison officer for the wounded. All Galcom peronnel will be released as soon as medically able. This includes Cmdr. Hamblin. Cmdr. Wold out. ********************** As the Drakr cloaks, "Nav, take us to Theta." 23. [rp] This has turned into some sort of weird movie, er, sideshow drama. I, Cmdr. Wold and the remaining bridge officers, well, for that matter, the rest of the crew were glued to the monitors. On a split screen one side showed the horror of the GCV-Deterence and the two shuttles docking and on the other side was the light and missle show between Sarks, Nevermore, Tenchi, and Necromancer. The all hail comm light flashed again and Ngyuen punched it through to my console. Ngyuen sees me nod my head her direction and punches up a comm link with ICV-Necromancer. ****************** Insurgent One, this is Cmdr. Wold of ICV-Drakr. We are on stand-by with weapons hot. We will NOT fire unless ordered by you. Cmdr. Wold out. ****************** The away team has reached the interior of the GCV-Deterence. The team breaks up into small groups and heads off to different tasks. Medical Officer Karen, two medics and a marine head to sick-bay. Five other teams consisting of one medic, marine, and a system engineer, head off into opposite directions. The bridge screen on the Drakr splits into six frames being fed from a helmet cam carried by each marine. The carnage shocked everyone on the Drakr into silence. How could anyone be alive? Deckplates twisted, support beams smashed through rooms and halls, walls buckled, electric circuits sparking, broken pipes bleeding, and a few people or what was left of them. I must have muttered "What's wrong here?" for everyone turns and looks at me with a puzzled look. An ensign responds "Sir, what do you mean 'what's wrong here', their ships been smashed!" I shake my head and answer back, "No, not that, I mean why aren't there more people? Either casualties are lighter then the damage suggests or that ship was light on crew." Everyone turns back to the screen and wonders the same. Karen and her team have finally reached sickbay which miraculously seems intact. She rushes over to one person laying on the floor and begins running a med scan. After the scan completes she roles him onto a blanket. She beckons the marine to point the camera closer to her patient. The screen shows a ranking officer, in fact the ship's commanding officer and the name of Cmdr. Hamblin? My tactical officer pulls up the known commander list and shrugs. "Sir, He is listed in our database as 'retired'. If he is the commander then I don't know what ship that is but it isn't the GCV-Deterence 'cause we know that Cmdr. Foss is on the Deterence." "Logistix, get power on the transporter and dispatch all remaining medics there with a marine escort. NOW!" Punching the commlink button for Karen I get a quick "Yes Sir?" "Karen, let us know as soon as a patient is stable enough to beam over. I have medics at the transporter ready to take them to our sickbay. Any able bodied person may choose shuttle or transporter. That ship may still blow and I want everyone off of there ASAP!"[/rp] Okay Hamblin, they are your people so you can fill in the rescue details. ------------------ Cmdr. Wold Spectre Fleet Spectre Starstation ICV-Drakr "Do or do not, there is no try!" ICQ 4669033
  24. [rp] Varan system The probe begins to move away with ICs 1 and 2 in hot pursuit. Ralph, consulting the nav map picks the safest corridore to the insurgent base. One hand on the reverse thrusters keeping the descent speed just in the saftey margin, for a combat drop. The shuttles halting so fast that the g-forces nearly caused a complete blackout of all personel. With a LOUD thlink-bang the hatch pops spilling marines with the prompting of a Seargent yelling "GO! GO! GO! The base commander materializes next to Schlynk, seamingly from nowhere. "Man are we glad to see you!" Grasping Schlynk's hand in the crushing grip of a heavy worlder. Schlynk removing his had from the vice-grip, smiles "Your Welcome! and I'll let you call the shots as you know more of where the marines and shuttles can be useful. All 4 ICs will be providing aircover once IC1 and 2 finish that probe off." "Excuse me, Sir." Lt. Ralph interupts, "but, um, well.." Schlynk raises an eyebrow "Well what? Spit it out Lieutenant!" Licking his lips Ralph continues "the good news is that the probe is destroyed and IC2 is on it's way here as ordered. The bad news is that, against your orders, IC1 has gone after the Kurai and is ignoring the all frequency hail to RTB." Schlynk grimaces. Great, the draw-back of cloning. You can't threaten them 'cause they know they have unlimited lives! Oh ya, and punishing the clone for something the predicessor does is counter-productive. Glancing at his chrono as he moves into the base's C & C he notices that 20 minutes has passed since the Kurai cloaked. Aboard IC1 a verbal fight has erupted between the pilot, Lance and co-pilot, Raven. Raven screams at Lance trying to pierce through his self-pity, "I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN HURT BY THEM! WE'VE ALL BEEN HURT BY THEM! THAT'S WHY WE ALL JOINED THE INSURGENCY IN THE FIRST PLACE! NOW IS NOT THE TIME, WE HAVE OUR ORDERS!!" Lance with blood in his eye almost litterally frothing at the mouth yells back, "YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING, YOU KNOW NOTHIN'! THEY KEEP CLONING ME AND MAKING ME LIVE THROUGH THIS HELL OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! IT'S PAYBACK TIME FOR WHAT THEY DID TO ME AND I'M GONNA KILL ME SOME GALCOMMIE LEMMINGS AND I AIM TO KILL SOME THEY CAN'T CLONE BACK! IF YOU CANT HACK IT THEN GET OFF MY SHIP!!!" Knowing her cause was lost, Raven smashes the eject button launching her to saftey she hopes. She aims the little craft at Varan and pushes the thruster switch and begins the wait for the final, hopefully light, impact with Varan. Knowing what was coming Lance had already prepared himself for the sudden pressure loss. Grinning like a shark he lines up on the Kurai, marks it FATAL for all missles and arrows in down the blind spot of the battlecruisers PTA system. Locking the lasers into full fire at 10km, launching 2 questars and 2 starseekers at 4km, screaming in for his last kamikazi run. Before he can see the results of the raging fury loosed by his bitter hatred IC1 expands in a sudden plasmic ball as the reactor lets go. The GCV-Kurai had rolled enough to bring all 3 PTA lasers on target. Lance's pain has been released until the next clone gains the memory of his previous life, back again. Schlynk notices a sepration from IC1 and quirkes a look to the tacops officer. "Sir, the co-pilot of IC1 has bailed and is directing his escape pod close to here. Shall I send a rescue team?" The base commander nods and directs 2 marines and an atv to the expected crash site. Schlynk continues to gaze at the scope and finally blinking dot vanishes indicating that IC1 has ceased to be. Wondering if 3 ICs are going to be enough for what could be coming he heads to the new site.[/rp] Okay Cmdr. Hidama, I too don't like to call hits on other ships and I don't think 1 mad IC could destroy your wounded BC, either. ------------------ Cmdr. 25. [rp] Ngyuen's eyes sharpen and catching her breath, "Sir, I've got an all-ship hail from Rattler, patching through to main speaker." No sooner said then Rattler's booming voice fills the bridge. Rattler's here too?!?!? Oooh boy, all the Insurgent leaders in one hot basket! Shaking my head I listen to our new order. I start barking out orders immediately, "Helm, full throttle and position us above and 30 clicks distant relative to Sark. Flight Ops, decloak and launch remaing two shuttles for SAR, GO, GO, GO!" "Comms, all ship hail on all frequencies and make it loud." Grabbing the live mic., "All ships, this is Cmdr. Wold of the ICV-Drakr, Insurgent One's orders received and acknowledged. We are moving to a safe distance and OUR WEAPONS ARE TIGHT! We are launching two unarmed shuttles for SAR only. All personel will be treated per Rattler's orders. Cmdr. Wold out!" Samantha taps a few keys and the view screen suddenly comes alive with the wreckage of the Deterence. The strange cloud shapes from escaping air through hull breaches coupled with rainbow colors of flashes from short fires, power surges, and burning gases. A strange, beautiful, and very haunting scene. The bridge is strangely silent as everyone is lost in their own thoughts and fears. Enemies, yes, but people first. The radar scope is full of debris. "Ngyuen, comm the shuttles and have them sweep first for any flying dutchmen." A shiver runs up my spine at the thought. My thoughts turn to Cmdr. Akuma and the Tenchi. What's going on? What kind of game is she playing? Who's side is she really on? [/rp] ------------------ Cmdr. Wold Spectre Fleet Spectre Starstation ICV-Drakr "Do or do not, there is no try!" ICQ 4669033
