Hey, Silk, I've seen my "heaven" from the tower.. I didn't realised what you meant friday... but now I've seen it. It's cool. Many people are wondering why is Active worlds slow. It's not about bandwidth, it's about the cpu requirements. You see, AW does not have a good graphic engine, so unless you have a good cpu and good video card, you'll stay seeing 30 meters ahead, and having 2-4 fps in the village, like me (have a 400mhz with bad video card). Bandwidth is only about loading the world... and if you go often at the same spot, everything is in the cache.

Whoa! Those ODS are real strong! ...but how come such a small thing (~20m) have a better armor than a SPACESTATION?? (~30km)

Well the version I have is 320x200... where can I get the 640x480 ver? Anyway, yes no mouselook is bothering me alot, and I don't like doom either. I use the keyboard controls.

No, In fact, the one you show is stretched. I have the original logo. What I did : I cut the black borders, and rescaled the pic while keeping the aspect ratio. Just compare with the pic in our forum. [ 08-24-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

Yesterday I or/and my bots stayed there all day long... nobody appeared! Silk, do you still plan on being there today? You should see the Orion base. It's over-ground now, more practical. I tried system shock... it's hard to play, cause of the low res and the way the controls work, but I played the ss2 demo... anyone has the full game?
