I think am letting this whole military theme thing go to my head, aren't I? You're the SC quote:.....anyway, I released some new shots. Go stare at them for awhile. Gaaahhhhh.....

Uh, sorry... ok it will be there tonight. -
quote:In BCM, you can tell the marines (and any crew member) exactly where to go. I don't think it's true, SC. We can only send people to the key areas. I can't tell my marines to go to Deck 1 aft corridor, or shuttle launch bay, or galley... or library... We SHOULD be able... they are dumb enough to all be on deck 1 when they are in the shuttles.

quote:So, can you explain about the .13micron flab... The .13 micron is the size of the circuitry in the processors, like if each "wire" had a .13 micron diameter. I'm not sure, but I think a micron is a 1000 times smaller than a milimeter. Smaller circuitry = lesser power usage = lesser heat emanation

AMD vs Intel : Lessons from a Paranoid Buyer

hint: You can easily overclock your Thunderbird +1ghz to 1.7ghz, 'cause I've read somewhere that they are underclocked 1.7ghz Thunderbird processors. Those Duron are the Celeron equivalent, but they beat the P3... Anyone has something about the AMD 64bits Sledgehammers processors? -
quote:As to the colors, note the phrase to the left of the text box and immediately above "UBB Code is enabled" the next time you post. HTML? Waaa... I can't remember the last time I used that form of coding. quote:Certain of the Gammulan/Valkerie stations carry a very very very very nasty breed of anti-capital ship missile I'm getting good at evading them... lot of training with the EMD, but the Linear/IV is VERY important... can't evade them all, but sometimes I run out of luck and 3 or 4 hit me like in a chain... ouch. One time I was still alive after that Engine, reactor, weapons and logistix out... I was out of the turret firing angle... took 5 secs for my shuttle to launch, tow my BC and get me outta here.

Use the playmod cheats and do the vagrant run Equip your fighters with vagrants The station will blow if the reactor status is at 0. The reactor status is the first number (left) over the video image of your target.
-
If you don't know it, all ships and stations cannot shoot on their Z-axis (in bc3k anyway) The trick works on any station type. So fun capturing Spectre.

quote:2)Why is it you can see junk on the moon? Was that faked too? There is no telescope on Earth capable of seeing that much details. We cannot see junk on the moon. One guy said in th show: "If ever I can see something human on the moon, I shut up for the rest of my life.
-
quote:Of course we landed on the moon. All those engineers sitting in the control room were doing nothing? All other easily disproven "evidence" aside what happened to the rocket? If it went up and didn't go to the moon where did it go? Had to have come down somewhere. 1. Those engineers coould have been fooled by false readings that come from elsewhere. 2. They could have stayed in orbit, or landed somewhere else. I don't say I'm a believer of that theory. Neither that I'm not. But I've watched the show on TLC.

quote:If Mexicans and Canadians want a larger piece of the pie, then they should PRODUCE for it. How the local industry is supposed to devellop itself, if there is a multi-billionaire industry already around? That's what customs are for : to protect the local industry. If the big industries are big enough to ship over the borders, then they can pay those customs, while the local industry, smaller, has a chance at competing. I'll tell you a bit of the story of Canada (althought I can't remember the years): Around ~1800, the prime minister of Canada at that time, John Mackenzie King (not sure, but anyway), put the customs so high that the american industry could not export it's products anymore in Canada. That way, we had a major industrial revolution here and our economy was greatly boosted. I think that free trade in all america will only increase the huge gap between the rich people and the poor people.

Shingen, I tought the part where you go from Alpha Centauri to Trenis would be with us, since in this part you will be escorted. From Trenis to Cyron-IV is at your discretion.

[rp] "Give me the bloody data-pad, and any intel you've got on the Stormcarrier. I want 15 vagrants, 15 ralix, a new cloning module, and enough fuel to get there and back. Theses conditions are nonnegotiable. Take it or leave it." That's what he said, and my superiors didn't liked it, but the mission was more important. A couple of missiles, a 8 millions credits cloning module and 3500 radine units, nah, it's nothing. Oh, and we lost one of the escort vessels we mounted for Mr. Shingen. At 0503, he exited the ship. Just after that, I started running deep bioscans everywhere he have been, to see if he let us some suprise. In the meantime, there were a couple of engineers repairing my primary sensor array. There have been a fight just before he came aboard a pack of raiders. I took minor damages, but my sensors were quite damaged by a well placed Firestar. Back on the bridge, I sit on the command-chair, watching the defenders wuzzing around my ship. Thomas calls me thru the ship's comm system from engineering. - The sensors arrays have been repaired, sir. I'm currently giving it back full strenght. - Good. As the TacOps screen come back alive, Tania returns to her post, scanning for anything new. Tania is a young female human, born on Mars. She's got long blonde hair, and deep blue eyes. She's shorter than most anyone on this vessel, but that don't bother her much. She always do her job well as navigation officer. This ship is the first that she have been assigned since she's out of Galcom's academy. My thought are interrupted by her sweet voice. "Commander, 3 vessels appeared on sensors since when we lost them." "Can I have details?" "1 Trading vessel, a LRT-10, and 2 merc ships. A Sunflash class cruiser called the UCV-Outlaw Star and one Defender-class fighter, badly damaged." "A Sunflash how interesting what about out friend?" "The shuttle is back on the Deathstrike he's heading for the fighter, called UCV-Thyella. I can hardly read his designation. I hail him?" "No. Let our friend have some distraction. Just warn me if he charge weapons. Kate, open a channel with the Sunflash." In the 8 officers of my ship, 4 are women. Kate is one of them. She is an experienced communication officer. She have already been a flight officer and tactical officer, so she is a very useful asset to my ship. She's tall, her hair is grey and her eyes are dark brown. I already asked her why she kept her hair grey, unlike the other older officers, and she answered that she wasn't afraid of her age. "This is commander Epsilon 5 from the Megaron heavy carrier, designation classified, to the mercenary vessel Sunflash heavy cruiser UCV-Outlaw Star. We may have a contract that will interest you. I repeat, this is commander Epsilon 5 from the Megaron heavy carrier, designation classified, to the mercenary vessel Sunflash heavy cruiser UCV-Outlaw Star. We may have a contract that will interest you." [rp] I smell the money and I smell lots of it.

The counter-strike forum, which uses the same system as us, display the number of people on the website, and how many of them are members. Would be interesting to have that feature too. http://forums.counter-strike.net/ [ 04-21-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

Chill out people, that plane should not have been there at first. It may be international waters, but it was spying China.

Yeah baby!

As I said, most of the protesters don't want violence, but they are some people, especially those called the "black block" who definitely want violence.

First report from a Quebecer The summit just started. Potus (President of the United States) is there since wednesday. There was a march going on in the city. A few party-crashers came in and started the party. The protesters in black, those there exclusively for trouble came and threw stuff at the police. A reporter got gassed and didn't liked it. The Global TV reporter car had it's windows broken under the camera's nose. The tension is very high on the two sides. Some of the big barriers of the security perimeter have been brought down. They will not stay that way for long. Everyone is trying to get a gas mask. Who will run out of smoke grenades first, the 6000 policemens of the expected 10 000 protesters? Most of the people want to peacefully protest, but it seems violence inevitable. One funny thing: 3 people took a small metal barrier and tried to ram into the police. Like they hit a brick wall.
