You have the right to do anything you want with software and media, as long as you keep it for yourself.
-
Umm, no.

WARNING : Don't put music too loud in your car, because you could be sued for allowing people who haven't bought the cd to listen to the songs illegally! ... Well that article shows that there is still justice
-
the minimum requirements need to be looked at - bcmg says 350mhz and bcg 500mhz. Should be 600/1gig

I have to get 3d glasses sometimes ... can you wear regular glasses with them (if I really need to - I can see 4 inches in front of me before the blurring starts - 10/20 vision I think)

quote:how do intruders board your CC?They use the transporter yes. You can't prevent it. quote:And if it's the latter, why can't you send marines to board enemy ships? Not yet, but this will be in BCG quote:Also, concerning the physics, do the ships carry some sort of inertial dampener? Otherwise, the ship should accellerate as long as the engines are on and keep moving when they are off (except in atmosphere, of course). An ID seems necessary to keep my crew from becoming paste when my CC pulls an accelleration of 8 km/s, but I don't see why it should limit the ship's top speed. We could suppose they game does have inertial dampeners that work along with artificial gravity. As for the top speed - it was chosen to be so. In any game no speed limit would probably end up killing the game. quote:And lastly, why do STS missiles have shorter ranges than ATS/STA? (etc etc etc)You must be confusing missile lock range with burn time. a missile that can lock at 55km will not miss its target becasue it moved away. As for the range/speed issue the physics have been chosen to be different that waht you seeminly hope for. It would too hard to play with ships buzzing around at such speeds. Ever tried fighting fighter in a fighter? Gives me a headache (but then you could blame the insane turn rate ) 50km is a decent range for the average missile, given the time it will take to reach the target in a head-on situation. Your "typically" reference must have to do with other games, and even then, I would like to know what game out there offers capital ship (or even fighter battles) with ships going in the tens of thousands of km per second!

quote:Other games do these in add-on packs. As long as there are gamers making BCO profitable, I will continue to make huge investments in it. as long as we don't need to buy those addons to "unlock" that stuff, I'm all for BCO

not at the moment. maybe in BCG?

Your most Crappy Order Of All Time ?
Epsilon 5 replied to Commander Jamont's topic in Battlecruiser Series
I didn't really have a notable "crappy" order - mostly the lack of 1 - Trading. leave the Stalker haging some 60km from ISS on "halt". I go to Earth, come back and see my ship under attack, and not moving. I give it orders to defend itself but I end up taking my shuttle and towing the enemy fighter (!) After I dock with my CC enormous damage has been done .. radiation on all decks. I was able to take my little cash and patch it up 2 - I stop over a friedly mbase. I get out to walk around my ship. My ship goes buzzing at max speed away from me. I start running after it like a woman that runs after the bus with all the groceries in her arms. CC status : MIA I didn,t thought about the tacops, it was a new character anyway. -

"rumors" says they are made of 100% energy that they could be the source of life in the galaxy, and that they will be something regular to kill in BCO. of course .. rumors ... are rumors the plotline should talk a little more about galaxians in BCG. to what extent? unknown so far.

quote:Other's have come through (like Deus Ex) And the multiplayer suckedOh yes ... I don't know why, but they broke the delicate balance of the game so damn hard, it didn't even made sense. Like if they didn't wanted DX:MP to happen. I have confidence that Derek will release MP as good as he said it would be.

I'm here sir! by butt hurts from all this sitting.

ROFL Sorry you weren't able to lose me in that

Happy new year all! I wish all of you health, prosperity, and peace. (edit : how could I forget that! I wish all of you success in love too ) In the same time I'd like to know what resolution(s) you people decided to abide to. Personally, I decided to stop being lazy. I pass too much time doing nothing even if I'm not so tired. I don't put enough of my mind in action when I'm trying to learn something - such as those damn cpp tutorials. And I'm always doing stuff at the last minute, ending up being late half of the time. So what about you all? [ 01-01-2003, 03:58 PM: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

quote:Jaguar is it just me or do you sound like u talk down to anyone and everyone who isnt a shoot them first and ask questions later kindof person?I get that impression too ... Jaguar always have an aggressive tone (part of why I got mad the other day, no I won't debate whether I was right or wrong), while Menchise is calm and rational. IMVHO Menchise has more credibility than Jaguar.

no, that's a macro program. i was to be able to do video capture without needing a video recorder or a video in in a second computer. I want to feed my monitor output in a avi.
-
Is there anyway to obtain a free program that will "capture" your screen activity as a video and save it to avi file or something?

quote:a socalled "backpack nuke" does NOT exist, they are more the size of a footlocker or small refrigerator, and weigh a couple of hundred pounds, not even Arnold could backpack one of those things. They also have a tritium trigger, which needs replacing every 6 months, and ALL of these are much older, and tritium is not something that you go to your local nuclear power plant and just pick up.I could not find a specific link on the matter but several websites DO talk about backback and suitcase nukes, of russian origin. those would be 1 kiloton in strenght, much enough to do damage if detonated in a populated area. you can kiss new york good bye, becasue the radiation will scare off every american.
