Well if you picked the right publisher it's ok ... I guess ... but I'm perturbed about you making console games ... The attraction from the Dark side is very powerful .... Each time I see one of my coworkers at work I'm always arguing why PCs are better than consoles ... and he's arguing the other way around.

quote:It's called not having to upgrade your rig when the next-generation of games comes out.erm .. when the new "box" gets out the one you have become obsolete fast. So instead of upgrading parts, you upgrade the whole thing! And a TV is not as clear as a monitor, and while you CAN plug a monitor, MOST people don't! And I hate low resolutions, I luff details.

Question for those who might know. I currently have a saitek cyborg 3d usb joystrick, and while I like the 4 axis + 10 buttons + pov config, it's getting worn and its precision is going down the drain (in a physical manner), especially since I started playing games which require much precision on all axis. Now, I was eyeing the x45, but it would cost me a leg. Then I started thinking about buying another saitek cyborg, maybe the gold one, although I don't know what's the difference. the SGE is nifty (I guess), but I haven't been able to use it yet. maybe I did something wrong. probably actually. I was wondering if anyone know if I would be able to use dual joysticks if I get another of the same brand? ... note that if the answer is yes, I will STILL consider the x45. I know there are a few users of the x36/x45 out there, and I'd like to know what you people think of it, at the same time. Maybe I will be able to replace that leg ... eventually. swimming indeeds seems to be your solution. it's relaxing, and use alot of energy. Swimming use pretty much all your muscles, and the generally cold water forces your body to continusly heat up your body, thus burning fat. just make sure to lower your sugar consuption, or you'll nullify your efforts

Man it's boring as all the "pretty" emails my mother get from he friends If there's no violence, blood, gunshots or explosions, it's not worth seeing

BCM Guide 01 - Tactical Assault On Planetary Base

You should. if you need to test it go in tacops and select something. i.e. a friendly unit / spacestation, and now a new command menu should open. -
there's no long answer - it's only the short one. fuel consuption is dependant on your engine and reactor. buy a costlier one, and you'll save on gas. Best are Numega engine / Trellis reactor (unless you can equip arties)

I use IE, but I was iusing mozilla until it started to deadlock my computer, sometime causing instant reboots. Oh well. i.e 5.0 is faster and more reliable.

if I remember correctly you don't lose exps for being lazy unless you have a PZ assigned - which is scripted.

love the title it's great -
I couldn't say how, but I know there's a way to "unwrap" a texture off a model to work on ... ahh .. found something .. quote:first you need a texture, I have been using photoshop 7 for this: first I create at a 512x512 or 1028x1028 square this is going to be my texture and I save it as a tiff maybe 'texture A' now each time I add an element to the texture I put it on a seperate layer, so one layer for green colour, another for weathering, another for plane markings etc. In max I open up the texture palette and load in 'texture A'and in the diffuse colour channel. Now each change I make to the texture in photoshop and save is easily loaded into Max by just clicking on the 'Reload' button. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To map an object I have been using ' Unwrap UVW'the First apply texture A to object. Click on the object and then in the modifier pallet choose 'unwrap UVW' With this turned on you can now click a specific polygon or select a group, then hit the planar map button. A new window will open displying the texture map and on it will be the polygons you have just selected. move these polygons to the part on the texture map with required image and repeat. Takes ages and is very boring Took me around 15-20 hours to add texture map to emily But one you have mapped the object all you have to do is alter the texture in photoshop and reload into max. Unfortunatly I dont think that the textures show up as well in the veiwports in Max 3.1 as they do in Max 4. I also have 2 monitors so that I can have photoshop on one and 3DS Max on the other so I can follow whats going on otherwise there are just too many windows open The plane, untextured. What the texture gives Textured plane Stuff comes from Blank [ 12-12-2002, 11:47 PM: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

I already too out 3 bases at once with a single bugnor .. but I usually nuke bases with the smallest nuke possible to take it out. and with the new patch bases don't have any "indestructible" structures anymore, so you can actually kill it completely with main guns and fighters. (a good thing!)

That was .. disturbing

hmm .. while I like it I know on the jumpgate forum the thread about this image got locked for "discutable humor" - and btw there's hardly ever any political threads. Oh well .. LOL

I don't think so.At the first day of war germany invaded poland, and started attacking other countries without reserve. It's not the same as Palestine vs Israël - they aren't fighting an open, declared war. Yes, tension is high, and terrorist are attacking on a regular fashion, but it's still not war. And in WW2 the enemy was clear. How many people supported the action of germany? In the present case (Is. vs pal.), you will find that many people support either's action - and view the other as the enemy. in ww2 the opposition was only about being against supporting europe struggle vs germany.
