Clueless Newbie Questions
LordDavid replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Battlecruiser 3000AD (Legacy)
Ok, I have this one object with 2 buttons on it..... As I recall in a picture, it is called a mouse? Funny how it dosen't have any hair or a tail on it. Isn't this a foot pedal though? I put it on the ground and press on it like the gas pedal on my car? [ 11-21-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ] -
Nice but..... {RP} "Comms Officer, Hail the Offensive Advisor" "Aye, Offensive Advisor on screen" said the comms officer. "Jaguar, is there any reason for us to be attacking the Mandorians right now?" "No there is not, we have more then enough on our plate right now" replied Jaguar. "Ok, then relocate Cmdr Firo to the Alpha Canis system to better our chances of annexing it. We have been fighting the Syrions and Droidans long enough, lets end this by finishing them off once and for all." {/RP} Commander Elio Jason, did you read the appendix for the Gammulans? We are at war with the Syrions and Droidans, not the Mandorians. Want to start over or go on from here? All you need to do is change the location to Alpha Canis and refrences of Mandorians to Syrions. [ 11-21-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

The Stormcarrier has 12 fighters, learn to use them well or you will die. [ 11-21-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

I would use that money and upgrade my computer!

day with new games: Empire Earth and Ghost Recon
LordDavid replied to Hunted's topic in General Chatter
Got Ghost Recon. It is good. -
As I recall in the "There Be Gammulans" topic, Derek Said that you need about 10 members for the fleet to become official.

Gammulan military, listen up. Post here which group you would like to be in; either the Patrol group or the Diplomacy group. -The Diplomacy group is the offencive side that makes war where needed. -The Patrol group defends our space from hostile forces. People from one group may be called to help the other group. Station Commanders will mainly be selected from members of the Patrol group (there are 7 Gammulan Stations as seen in the appendix). This is a Gammulan Thread, if you are not a Gammulan, please refrain from posting because it will be deleted. [ 11-14-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

So is the duel between you and Jaguar still up? I'm looking forewared to seeing it!

Thats right, there is a traitor among you. {rp} Right Uh-huh. One of your spies, so secret... that... YOU don't know about him? LOL. Look over your right shoulder to your navigation officer, how do you know HE won't put a knife in your back this very night? {/rp} [ 11-14-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

Quote from Jerold Keenan: quote: howa bout I wait for you in syrion/droidian space right outside the flux-field. You versus me, my Galactan versus your precious stormcarrier. {RP} Yawn, since the other Gammulan thread was closed down things have started to get boring. Jaguar, if you get too bored, go show this little ant what POWER really is, that is, if he hasn't turned chicken and fled. (heh, cheap entertainment!) {/RP}

That is a very good point Nova. I have not thought about this too much before you mentioned it but I have noticed a *slight* slowdown on certain pages of the forum. I agree that if everyone had a personal sig, it would be quite inconsiderate to people with dial-up connections, so until I hear more, I'll take mine down. quote:Originally posted by Outlaw: Kinda leaves me at a disadvantage my lord. I will defend the empire even if it means not getting paid but in the end who will hire me? Various people could hire you such as Gammulan civilians, traders, or our friends, the Valkeries. If you successfuly complete *special* missions for us, we might compensate by giving you supplies/weapons/repairs at a discount.

quote:Originally posted by DeSylva: FACT: The Gammulans have fought two wars against the Terrans and their alliance. Both were unsuccesful. FACT: The Gammulans are unable to fight a war over long distance. They have no forward deployment capabilities. They were forced to sneak through flux fields to invade the Terran quadrant the first time. They were so scared of facing our forces directly they were willing to throw half of their invasion force into black holes rather than stand toe-to-toe with the Terran and the Galactic Command alliance. That's FEAR, ladies and gentlemen. This all took place before the new leaders came to power in the Gammulan War Council, and before I became the Head of Gammulan War Council. What you mentioned was the past in which we had no involvement in. You will see the future soon enough. quote: FACT: The Gammulan's power comes from their control of the Falkyrie mineral deposits. They have a dead world. And yet, even though they claim they took over the Falkyrie empire over fifteen years ago, the Falkyrie - supposedly a peaceful race with little weaponry or resources - CONTINUE to wage a succesful resistance effort. And where are you getting this intel? Do you want to take a tour of and enjoy the lovely view of what has become of the Falkyries? quote: FACT: The Gammulans believe the best way to defend their military base - Starstation Gammula - is to hide it. We show our power proudly. Last time I checked, Star Station Gammula is not cloaked in the BCM Beta. quote: The facts speak for themselves - a race of jumped up cowards, unable to fight an effective war, willing to walk through black holes rather than face Galactic Command and Earth Command directly. Since we payed you a visit in the past, why don't you visit us now? I would give you a nice WARM welcome (Warm from cannon fire!). I would like to visit earth, but I am currently busy....giving my reguards to the Syrions and Droidans. [ 11-10-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

quote:Originally posted by Outlaw: Hey forget Intercorp man. This proposal of yours is BS. I'm an indie and being member of Intercorp doesn't exactly make me a indie. Count me out. My brothers in the Gammulan fleet will back me up always and no politics involved like in Intercorp will get in my way. Out. Yes, I was wondering why you were hanging around these....humans.....

{RP} At least we don't have a big stick shoved up our arse like you do. {/RP} hehe..... BOOM! It seems to me that this is getting away from role playing and to throwing insults at each other. Hmmmmmmmmm....Well when the MP patch comes out, we can quit all this talk and go at it! [ 11-10-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

"Weapons officier, deploy OUR secret weapon upon the GCV-Myrmidon." All of a sudden the mother computer on the GCV-Myrmidon shuts down taking life support with it for I have uploaded Windows ME to your ships computer BUMUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

{RP} Ohhh.. scary! I just said Blades was all TALK.. Now he tries the same line on us. Blades just told us that we are all just talk. How ORIGIONAL! Oh well, they say imitation is the best flattery. If thats all you can come up right now, what wonderful maneuvers will you perform during actual combat? Look out, don't ram into your own ships! [ 11-07-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

{RP} Heh, Blades is all Talk. COWARD! YOU are too insignificant for us to waste our time on you. Not even the Falkeries whom we easily conquered were as petty as you are. {/RP} I sense hostility here! LOL [ 11-07-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
