Cartoon Network cut Mobile Suit Gundam and added another half hour of Dragonball Z when they already were airing DBZ. DBZ is good but I liked the other shows they were also showing.

Hey, at least there *shouldn't* be any Hologram Adventures that make up entire episodes. Practically every other Voyager episode had to do with the holodeck! Even Captn Janeway fell in love with a hologram! (sigh)

This isn't really a bargin bin but it is a HUGE BARGIN! I just picked up a TDK Velocd 24x/10x/40x CD-R drive at Costco for only $135 when its retail price at the TDK store is $279! Methinks they mislabled it... but I'm not complaning....

Independence War 2 is good singleplayer fun.

I picked up Ares Rising for 10$ about a year ago.... not worth it IMO.....Its buggy, and my cd drive has lots of troubles reading the disc. Right now I'm playing Independence War 2 and likeing it. [ 08-30-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

Privateer and its add-on Righteous Fire are great IMO (can be gotten at theunderdogs). Privateer 2 is good too, but not as good as the 1st one.

The SC seemes to like/use achronyms a lot, so how about making up one with the letters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ? I liked the AVP2 demo except, it is quite short, and its framerates are slow even on a fast computer. It is a bit tense, but it isn't quite as claustraphobic as the first one. The dynamic music and sound fx are very chilling when aliens attack Also IMO the Red Faction Multiplayer demo is a blast to play. I like the railgun in it. With it, you can go to a 2nd fire mode where you can see enemies heat signatures through walls, and actually shoot/blast through the wall and get them. [ 08-16-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

Shouldn't this be in the General Discussion section? Anyways, I remember seeing adds for an actual Gundam computer game in magazines a few years ago..... I wonder how that is.

I still have it too. Weren't there 2 versions of the BCTE? Personally, I like the bridge in the 1st version better.

I tried some of the glide wrappers and I could not get them too work with BC3k. And to make matters worse, my voodoo2 card isn't overly compatable with my GF3 so I have to run BC3k in software mode. [ 08-13-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
