  3. The Gammulan War Council has met together and decided on who will be the Defensive Advisor. Advil has been appointed. Congratulations! [ 11-06-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  4. {RP} Supreme Commander of Galactic Command: are you aware that one of the petty officiers under you is trying to start something with Gammulan Forces? Shouldn't the decleration of war come from YOU and not from some nobody fleet? Perhaps you should dismiss him for his stupidity and trying to rise over YOUR power before I get angry at his incompetents and do it myself! Jaguar, if these ants continue to interfere with our private business, a situation will be created and you can stomp them down to space dust! But for the time being we have more important things to deal with such as the Syrions and Droidans. We are not 'currently' at war with GALCOM but things can change.... {RP} [ 11-05-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  5. quote:Originally posted by Blades: Bwahahahahahahahaha! You are but toys to be discarded by the mighty Commanders of the Orion Fleet. You're furrowed brows and constipated grimaces will earn you nothing but the pity of small children. Yeah, that'll do to start. {RP} Ha, a small fleet against the might of the entire Gammulan Race? Right now WE are not at war with YOU unless YOU start something right now. If you do not bother us we will not bother you....... for the time being. We are currently putting the Syrions and Droidans in their proper place. Once we deal with them perhaps you want us to deal with you? {/RP} [ 11-05-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  6. Hi!
  7. Well...gee... who would have guessed!? Not I!!
  8. Status Update: So far there are 13 in the Gammulan military and 2 Gammulan mercenaries.

  10. I am proud to announce Jaguar as Offensive Advisor of the Gammulan Military (basically second in command). He has received this position because he has given a lot of good advice for the creation of this Gammulan fleet, and I feel he has what it takes to complete the job well. The position of Defensive Advisor is still up for consideration. Also commanders will be assigned into the two groups of the Gammulan fleet (Diplomacy Group and the Patrol Group) at a later time (Request will be considered but do not request it in this thread. ). The Gammulans are a Race with most of their recouses set for weapons. The Gammulans kill without mercy and have even taken over other Races (Falkeries). [ 11-04-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  12. quote:Originally posted by Scrivener: Ghost Recon? Blah. Operation Flashpoint is SO superior. Ok.. now WHY in the world would you say this? GR is not out in stores yet, have you played it and know something I don't? I played OPF and it is good and all, but it didn't just grab me like Rogue Spear / R6. I've have Rainbow 6 and Rogue Spear, liked them so that is why I am getting Ghost Recon. From the screenshots of GR, I'd say it looks better than OPF, plus GR models modern day weapons. Kind of like comparing a WW2 flight sim to a modern day flight sim.
  13. I'm waiting for Ghost Recon (sort of sequel to Rainbow Six). It went gold, now waiting for it to come into stores.
  14. Bah, why have that when you can have Trillian which combines ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo Messanger into one program (you can have contact list and chat to people on all three of those programs with just this one)? It is not nearly as bloated as ICQ either.
  15. Countdown to the end of the week? How many countdowns do we have here. Shees.. Next someone will probably start a countdown until Jesus comes back, or when Microsoft/Bill Gates goes bankrupt, or when Britney Spears will get ________ (you fill in the blank)!
  16. quote:Originally posted by Herro YuY: And i'm also the ONLY Gam military so i need to protect myself! Under which rock have you been under? You have some Gammulan friends now Check out thes thread! For all you Gammulan Military out there requesting a Stormcarrier (or something else): Hopefully we won't be under Misc.Race/Cast much longer And as Head of Gammulan War Council, I have the ability to change your ship if requested.
  17. quote:Originally posted by Cmdr Jeffery Eu: That's funny, I would have thought the most of the ships available to the military are capital ships. As far as I know, we have super carriers, carriers, super cruisers and heavy cruisers in BCM, so our contemporary definition of capital ships doesn't really apply in BCM. Don't forget the fighters. There are Light, Medium, Heavy, and Super Fighters that Carriers carry. Then there are shuttles that need flyers for running away when the Gammulans dissable the carriers....
  18. The Gammulans have the majority of their recourses located to weapons and military. There is plenty of hardware to go around
  19. (rp) So what are you going to do, go in a space suit and take pot shots at my Stormcarrier with your weak toy gun? "Helmsman, set course for Cmdr Remo, RAMMING SPEED!" (/rp) [ 10-27-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

  21. A long time ago wasn't there some sort of movie of BC 3020 (or was it BCM) with a BC MK 3 with organic looking textures and a space station blowing up?
  22. One line: Taking over stations is a lot harder! (They got Teeth!)
  23. quote:Originally posted by Advil: is it safe to assume we are all in the Diplomat fleet until there are enough to have a Defense fleet? The Gammulan forces are growing. Take a look at the members secion of the Gammulan webpage. There are already 12 people who have proclaimed themselves as Gammulan Military (Then there is Outlaw who is a Gam/Merc). As soon as the SC replies back to me with the fleet structure I sent him (HINT, HINT ) positions shall be considered. Until then, just be/act like Gammulans. "Blast Vulcan Logic! I want to shoot something!" [ 10-23-2001: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

  25. I a had creepy moment in BCM Beta. I was sitting there in a heavy cruiser. Every once in a while static appeared on my MFD's and my officer said "There's something out there." Awhile later, I targeted a carrier attacking the station in the region I was in and had it on an external view. After the ship made a pass on the station, I actually saw it cloak and all the fighters that were attacking it couldn't find it anymore. At this moment there were no enemies on the radar. All of a sudden the computer said I was being targeted by an enemy yet there was no enemies on the radar. This made me think that the cloaked Carrier that was attacking the station must have started going after me. There was nothing I could do but wait in suspense wondering when the attack would come. A few suspenseful minutes pass with my hand over the afterburner and retrorocket keys to dodge incoming fire, and shields raised as high as they could go. That same carrier earlier that was attacking the station was now uncloaked and still attacking the station. In a few moments, the station blew it up. I though that that was the end of the cloaked threat BUT I noticed that I was still experiencing static and my officer still said something was out there. Cycleing through the radar, I happened to catch a glimpse of an enemy shuttle. It was heading to a big Stormcarrier Supercarrier! It must have been cloaked since I could not detect it on the radar. Well, so much for me thinking the cloaked threat was over, there were actually 2 cloaked ships not one! Since the first cloaked ship was attacking the station and got blown up it ment that it was the huge Stormcarrier that must have targeted me. Oh great, now I have the largest ship ever made with 12 fighters in its hull, cloaked, and after me. Next thing I know, that cloaked Stormcarrier transported 5 enemy marines into my cargo bay to steal my loot which I plundered from passing by enemy transports! What I did next was ...RUN... at least I could outrun that slow behemoth so I jumped out of the system.
