  1. LOL, I'm sorry Aperson. You are the only one I have sympathy for here. Reason being, you grew up under socialism, and were never taught anything else. However, my sympathy only goes so far, because as an idividual, you have a brain and instincts, and should've been striving to learn on your own. Your comment of "Unfortunatly, the way history is often taught IS boring." just re-inforces the theory that an individual really is responsible for his own education, his own progress, his own achievements, and his own life. Because if you are not interested in history, then not even a clown with monkeys on his shoulders would be able to cram it down your head. This proves that personal ignorance is a choice, not a condition. Just like being poor, being un-skilled, being un-educated, ect... And I don't see how it's my responsibility to pick up, support, and help out those who have failed of their own accord. I have nothing to gain from them, only to lose, as does the rest of the society, that's if you are going to make a liberal argument that taking care of others is for societies good. LOL. Seriously Aperson, read Atlas Shrugged, it's the best thing you can do for yourself.
  2. LOL, In a decade, I probably would be able to run for president on a platform of re-building US based on Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and The Constitution. And the ONLY ones that will object on basis of my illegitimacy as a naturalized citizen will be those who will be threatened and affraid of having their benefits and priveleges that they have gained by corruption, taken away. Because those 3 documents would give the power, freedom and their lives back to the productive people, the ones who have values to offer, and will protect them from the leeches, beurocrats, looters, and criminals. And you know why I would be unstopable? Because I wouldn't care about PC, about which person or what population bracket or what ethnicity group I need to please, or any deals with beurocrats. Why, because pleasing, appeasing, or making deals will not be my aim. My only aim, the one and ONLY, would be to do my job, and make US the way it was supposed to be, to restore the power and law of those documents, and I would succeed amid all the yells of bloody murder that would be coming out from socialists, liberals, and third world countries, because I will NEVER let that distract me from what HAS to be done. That's all.
  3. It's sad Grizzle. You were born here, but don't even know what taxes are supposed to be paid. You have this misconception that taxes HAVE to be paid from those who work, to support ANYTHING, EVERYTHING, and EVERYONE. Very sad that you don't know your own countrys Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. Have you ever read them outside of high school? I KNOW that you have not because of your posts, the one above being just one of those examples. Those wonderful documents have ALL the answers, even to those of taxes. You think US was established on principles of anarchy? Since the politicans that we have now will not do anything. Just like everything else in this world, as US is picking up speed towards socialism, and as we are becoming more and more bankrupt as a nation. One day it will collapse, and strong people will rise up to rebuild. If US born citizens are so stupid as to be ignorant of the great work their own country was build on, and the laws and principles it was established on, then when the whole thing collapses, it will be people like me that will kick all of those ignorants out from this land, and make it the capitalistic Novus Ordo Seclorum it was supposed to be by it's very unadulterated design. 4. Jaguar, you are talking to people who are ignorant of history. They can't link what's going on now to what has happened before. They just don't understand. When you ask them to give you event time line between 500 to 200 years ago, their eyes glaze over, and that's why they can't concieve of something bad happening. They don't know what precursors are. And THAT's why history repeats itself. Because we have people that just plain out think it's "boring", and fail to learn it's lessons. It really is that simple. Look at it this way though. We are ready, we know what we will do, we know that we have the highest chance of survival. So, poetic justice is a good thing. You can also call it natural evolution. It's like those people in New Orleans, storm is 4 days away, "laughing", storm is 3 days away "it will pass", storm is 2 days away, "it won't be that bad", storm is 1 day away, "you didn't give us enough warning, we can't get out now", storm is here. Guess who survived and who got hurt? When you know history, know the events, know the precursors, you know what will happen, and it's in your power either to prevent it, or get ready for it the best you can. As far as all the rest of you go. I am glad you turn your heads on it, keep rationalizing it, and keep justifying it, and keep making excuses for it, and keep "understanding" it, and keep tolerating it. When the time comes, I won't be lifting a finger to protect you. The only people who will survive, are those who are like me (for those who have seen Saving Private Ryan, I will have no space in my group for a person that was like that reporter) , and those that I will chose to include with me. I will have people around me with skills, character, and compentence, I won't have room for tolerance, or the ones whos only skill is rationalization, feelings of entitlement, and collection of social services. How long do you think you will survive with those whos views are similar to yours, Grizzle, Nomad, Aperson. LOL, they will be the first ones to push you in front of them to save their own butts when trouble is ahead.
  5. quote:Originally posted by nomad: I consult french press daily, and guess what ? There's not any criticism of conceptual politics be of the right or the left. What is in question is the integration model, who seems to be deficient independently of whoever rules. And another thing. Just stop this jiber jaber. I understand what you are saying. But it will not work. You are not a politician speaking to simpletons and will not awe us or convince us with sentences that carry lots of words but zero meaning. That paragraph did not address my points about France being socialist AT ALL. With that paragraph you managed to neither deny nor confirm my points, but instead skirted them completly hoping for anyone who reads it to draw their own conclusions. Be plain, simple and concise. So, is France liberal and socialist based on the 9 points I addressed above? Or are you going to debate and try to prove to me otherwise?
  6. So, tourists go to Phillipines, Africa, Thailand, Britain, and Ireland too. Doesn't mean they want to live there. So try again. As far as 10 year old arrested. What, you think this 10 year old just spontaneously build a bomb and wanted to go burn things, or you think he actually learned those ideas and actions from his parents and siblings at home? Where do you think all those youths got their ideas from? Public education maybe? TV? I bet it was from mosques (becaus it seems the muslims are rioting, not the christians) and from their parents. Which would explain this fresh young generation of un-integrated, civilized world hating people France is breeding. They were bred among people of TOLERANCE. People that tolerated the views, beliefs and practices that are WRONG. This is where the ideology that nothing is wrong, it's just different and different is OK, has gotten the French. In Africa they believe that if you have aids and rape an 11 year old virgin, your aids will be cured. Is that just another belief you need to be tolerant of? In India, they believe a 12 year old can be set up and married off, is that another belief you need to be tolerant of? In middle east they believe that if you kill an infidel you will be rewarded. Tolerate that. Or how about if you die while taking out dozens of infidels, you will have however many dozen virgins. You like that belief? Yeah, tolerate all that. We already see where that took Denmark, and where it has taken France. The whole Europe is to follow. If they would have been educated from their very birth that they live in a civilized society, and that to be civilized human being, you need to behave like one, have RESPECT for others, none of this would have happened. Respect and tolerance are two different things Nomad. A man who lacks respect is not a man, a man who is tolerant of everything is also not a man.
  7. quote:Originally posted by nomad: It's simpler than that. In the last 13 years the french government was socialist only from 1997 to 2002, all the other governments have been from the right. Besides, the President is also from the right since 1995 and has many powers, it's not an honorific position like in Israel for example. And for your information, there are many shades of right, like there are many shades of left. Have you missed the very first paragraph oh my post? Here, I'll quote it again: "Socialist Fran├ºois Mitterrand attained a stunning victory in the May 10, 1981, presidential election. The victors immediately moved to carry out campaign pledges to nationalize major industries, halt nuclear testing, suspend nuclear power plant construction, and impose new taxes on the rich. The Socialists' policies during Mitterrand's first two years created a 12% inflation rate, a huge trade deficit, and devaluations of the franc. (* An excelent example of what SOCIALISM does to a country *) In March 1986, a center-right coalition led by Jacques Chirac won a slim majority in legislative elections. Chirac became prime minister, initiating a period of ÔÇ£cohabitationÔÇØ between him and the Socialist president, Mitterrand. Mitterrand's decisive reelection in 1988 led to Chirac being replaced as prime minister by Michel Rocard, a Socialist. (* Socialist again *) Relations, however, cooled with Rocard, and in May 1991 Edith CressonÔÇöalso a SocialistÔÇöbecame France's first female prime minister. But Cresson's unpopularity forced Mitterrand to replace Cresson with a more well-liked Socialist, Pierre B├®r├®govoy, who eventually was embroiled in a scandal and committed suicide. Mitterrand did succeed in helping to draft the Maastricht Treaty and, after winning a slim victory in a referendum, confirming close economic and security ties between France and the European Union (EU)." As far as shades of right go. You can call a rose by any name, it will still smell the same. So is the "right" in France. You can call it by any name you want. It still is as socialist as they come, for the reasons I have already posted before. But since you seem set to keep missing them, lets re-cap: 1. Complete public wellfare (social programs) 2. Complete social security 3. Complete government paid retirement 4. Complete government paid education 5. Complete government paid medical care 6. Complete government paid un-employment 7. Regulation of bussinesses to the point of taking away their ability to control their workforce (as example, the bussiness can't fire or lay off any workers, unless it actually goes out of bussiness) 8. Regulation of bussinesses to such an extent that it makes it practically impossible to start a new one. (Practically) 9. 50% taxation on income (that's excluding other types of taxes and fees) to pay for all the social programs mentioned above Conclusion? You can call it right, you can call it capitalistic for all I care. In reality, it is NOT. It's just plain SOCIALIST. Just like the government, you can call it right, or anything else you want, in reality it's LIBERAL, and hence all the problems now. The funny thing is, when the problems were fuming under the lid, you were proudly proclaiming how France is a great socialist country with liberal government that works, and when it all blows up and boils over, you do a 180 and start saying how the right is in control and it's not at all a socialist country. On his third try Chirac won the presidency in May 1995, campaigning vigorously on a platform to reduce unemployment (**). Elections for the National Assembly in 1997 gave the Socialist coalition a majority (*OH, maybe that's why*). Shortly after becoming president, Chirac resumed France's nuclear testing in the South Pacific, despite widespread international protests as well as rioting (*ahem, because the population is so far rooted in liberal socialism*) in the countries affected by it. Socialist leader Lionel Jospin became prime minister in 1997 (*oops, Socialist YET AGAIN*). In the spring of 1999, the country took part in the NATO air strikes in Kosovo, despite some internal opposition. Jean-Marie Le Pen, leader of the right-wing anti-immigrant National Front Party, shocked France in April 2002 with his second-place finish in the first round of France's presidential election. He took 17% of the vote, eliminating Lionel Jospin, the Socialist prime minister, who tallied 16%(*by 1%, that's JUST 1%). Jospin, stunned by the result, announced that he was retiring from politics and threw his support behind incumbent president Jacques Chirac, who won with an overwhelming 82.2% of the vote in the runoff election (*so he basically won by default, not because they elected him*). Chirac's center-right coalition won an absolute majority in Parliament. In July 2002, Chirac survived an assassination attempt by a right-wing extremist.
  9. ROFL< Oh no, did Nomad just try to say that France is CONSERVATIVE? ROFL OH NO. Hey, maybe I should dig through previous threads and post the links here to where he DEFENDS Frances socialistic state. Now that this whole thing has blown up, time to run, and claim that the right is in power. ROFL, and tell us to CHECK whens the last time France has been under socialistic rule? ROFL, What is this? Is he actually serious? Hold on, Im going diggin through old threads. Look out for links and Nomads quotes. Or should I even bother, he might get VERY defensive. LOL< "whens the last time France has been under socialistic rule". You mean wellfare, 50% tax, companies not being able to fire people unless they close their doors completly, state medical care, state retirement is not socialistic? ROFL, THEN WHAT IS? Oh, and in case you, Nomad, will try to say that it's the socialistic right. Let me cut you off before you even start. Because that's an OXYMORON. Meaning THERE IS NO SUCH THING. I haven't laughed this much in a long long time.
  10. ""All we demand is to be left alone," said Mouloud Dahmani, one of the local "emirs" engaged in negotiations to persuade the French to withdraw the police and allow a committee of sheiks, mostly from the Muslim Brotherhood, to negotiate an end to the hostilities." ---Is this for real? It would be like the South Americans (Spanish), taking over California, and saying "All we want to do is to be left alone". We are half way there already. Wonder if they will still demand the social services if we leave them alone. To NEGOTIATE an END TO HOSTILITIES? Is France a sovereign country? I think I could go into France, and end up RULING it overnight. LOL, It needs to NEGOTIATE an end to hostilities with people within their own borders? ROFL, WOW, What's Nomad has to say? Still the same thing about them just being kids? Why am I even talking about leaving anyone alone? We HAVE to take US back. Each day that goes by, it will be harder in the end. "President Jacques Chirac and Premier de Villepin are especially sore because they had believed that their opposition to the toppling of Saddam Hussein in 2003 would give France a heroic image in the Muslim community. Hmmm. You mean playing the dhimmi didn't score them points? What a shock." ---Good one. LOL, Didn't I say that the middle is always evil. Look where that got France. You know what I WILL protest. US sending ANY troops to Europe. And I mean ANY. And even if ONE US solder that's stationed overseas will be dispatched to try to solve this situation. I will personally be organizing a protest against the "peace keeping mission" <---that's what it will be called no doubt. "So what is the solution? One solution, offered by Gilles Kepel, an adviser to Chirac on Islamic affairs, is the creation of "a new Andalusia" in which Christians and Muslims would live side by side and cooperate to create a new cultural synthesis." ---ROFL, I just can't stop laughing. OH man, this should really go into the laughter the best medicine section. Only in Europe something so serious could EVER be so funny. [ 11-05-2005, 02:50 PM: Message edited by: Soback ]
  11. Yeah, you wait till you're 30, and it's time to raise a family. When you see more than half your income going down the drain instead of towards a nice house, you and your wifes vacation, a private education for your kids, and an awesome retirement stash so that you could spend your years after 65 kicking back in Hawaii or on cruise ships. Then you'll wonder how you could ever be so blind. Of course, it will all depend on what your ambitions are. Because if you never get out of making under $30,000 a year. Paying $15,000 (half your paycheck) in taxes doesn't seem so bad, because you get in return something that you would never be able to afford with those 15 grand, like medical care, public education and a retirement plan that includes 50 other people shoved into a 100x100 foot hall. As you can see, all those things however are half (insert), half * medical care, half * education, and half * retirement. A great guy said to me once, never do things half *ssed, either do them right, or don't do them at all. Having others pay for you is not bad in those circumstances. I call it legalized looting, but for those who make under 30, it's an entitlement.
  12. Uh oh. Nomad you blaspemer, how could you. You better stop with ideas like that, or I might label you a conservative . Those immigrants are only looking for a better way of life. Tsk tsk tsk. No, but seriously. You know perfectly well that if those people were working, they wouldn't have time to riot. It's like the ones that protest here in US, on wednesdays afternoon. Makes you wonder how they can afford to block your way from lunch back to work, instead of working themselfs. The answer, wellfare.
  13. If you ask them what money they believe in. They will say, YOURS. Why work, when we can have it given to us. And you say NOT because of socialism? Military patrol schools? ROFL It is PRECISELY because of socialism. When they are done rioting. Who's going to pay for all the damage? Ummm...Yeah, the working. Who's going to go back and collect wellfare? They will. And when they feel like it. They will riot again. With bigger numbers next time. And even bigger the time after that. Watch the "Rome" burn. That's if Europe ever exibitied the magnificence of Rome. I think they just skirted it's advanced high time, and went right for the low. Anyway, it shouldn't be long now. Give or take another 10 years. How I wish that all the liberals from US would stand up for once (yeah I know, asking a liberal to fight for what he believes in is like asking a conservative to not fight for what he does), and go help them out. Oh yea, almost forgot. My thanks to you guys for helping me out on my post there. I never doubted that you would all come in with explanations of tolerance and understanding. Never condemning, never judging, always can count on you to excuse the un-excusable, and never solve the solvable. And since we have no idea (like Nomad said) how much money they threw at disprivledged youths, I think they should throw some more. But I don't live in Europe, so what do I know. LOL, throw more money baby, lets have a party, and tomorrow, we'll cut the hours again, and have everyone working 4 hours a day. It's still enough to eat on, or is it? Anyhow, THANKS GUYS.
  14. Actually, I'm going to make a correction. That's 48% tax, for anyone who makes above 48,000 Euros. So pretty much everyone. And that's just income tax alone, excluding all other taxes and fees. So the show goes on...
  15. Um.... Who do you sympathize with? The rioters? Or the victims? Or both? Who's at fault? The rioters? Or the victims? Or the government for not collecting more taxes from the victims to pay off the rioters? Or the government for not regulating corporations even more so as to take care of un-employment? But then again, it's already illegal to fire your workers, the only way is to close the company completly. And then again, the hours are cut short for EVERYONE, so that EVERYONE can have a job. But then again, even if "everyone" has a job, they are already taxed more than 60% (and that's minimum tax) to take care of those who couldn't get a job even with the hours being redistributed "fairly", LOL. Wonder why they couldn't get a job, must have something to do with those evil corporations, it's their fault for not providing jobs that put food on the table (even though you bring home a third of your paycheck), government must have been not regulating them enough, or maybe taxing them enough. Or maybe the government should have put out a regulation that for every corporation that shuts it's door, the CEO's MUST open 2 new ones, each with TWICE the workers capacity, everything would've been ok. This is literally Atlas Shrugged coming true. Incredible. Who do you symphathize with? Who do you blame? And what's your solution? Really, I want to know. Maybe Nomad, and Aperson can chime in on this too.
  16. LOL< Come on, post something else. Keep proving my point.
  17. Alright, I wasn't going to say anything, but it's been almost 48 hours. LOL, the only people I see posting in this thread, saying how bad it is are conservatives. The liberals always have something to say when the view is scewed. Like opression, wellfare, terrorists are also people, ect...But when it blows up in their face, I don't hear a single peep from them. I don't see them publicizing it on the news. I don't see them condemning it. I don't see them throwing suggestions out, I don't even see them doing what they are best at, analyzing WHY it's happening, and UNDERSTAAAANDING the problem. ROFL, I know why, but I will let it be.... I don't even hear a peep out of the liberals on this board, I know they were here. They posted in other threads. The only people posting in this one are conservatives. ROFL. Oh man. I am telling you. When the big one hits CA, I know where I am going and what I'll be doing, I also know that when I come back, the state will be much more conservative, because they are the only ones that will survive, and the only ones that will come back to re-build when FEMA is not here. LOL, it's funny because it's true. Watch, in the next couple of days, they will be posting how horrible this whole thing is, while at the same time defending the situation, and telling us their analysis on the problem. That it's the governments fault for not providing better conditions, more money, and more jobs. ROFL
  18. Quite the contrary Grizzle. The dividens from the oil companies are down. They are paying HIGHER fees to the government because of all the regulation and environmental studies and lawsuits, AND they are investing MORE in infrastructure.
  19. quote:Originally posted by Grizzle: How do you know I don't have an expansive stock portfolio Soback? Reading my mind again? You don't know Jack about me, all I can say again is that you assume far too much and far too often. Just because I voice my disagreement with what I consider to be excessive practices does not mean I don't understand those same practices. I can hold multiple opposing thoughts in my head at the same time. Ever hear the term business ethics in all your learned years? Or did you just skip that part? I happen to do very well for myself, money and my ability to make it has never been an issue, but that doesn't prevent me from voicing my opinion when I see what I consider corrupt financial/business practices. For the first paragraph, I will just dismiss it completly. I don't need to read someone's mind, because what's coming out of their mouth speaks for them. Second. "I can hold multiple opposing thoughts in my head at the same time." Do I really need to say anything? I will let people draw their own conclusions from your post. Just wanted to point out that sentence though. Third. Bussiness ethics, is to MAKE MONEY. It's called FREE MARKET. They are not hiring thugs, to break anyones knee caps. They are charging prices, that you as a consumer free to pay or to refuse their product. Fourth and last paragraph. If you are making money, and at the same time trashing the capitalistic system that is enabling you to make that money. What does it make you then? And the bigger question is, WHY SHOULD PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT MAKING MONEY, LISTEN TO YOU, because obviously, it would make no sence for them to listen to a guy who flipps off capitalism with his left hand, and trashes it out of the left side of his mouth, while counting the money with the right hand and making deals with the right side of his mouth. Those people would be better off getting an education into the workings of economics and joining the capitalistic system not as cannon fodder for the left, but as equals in bussiness and deals with the right. Conclusion? After re-reading this thread again, and with you finally making the final contradictin in your last post, my conclusion would be just a personal opinion, because obviously it seems that even you know how capitalism is supposed to work, and you obviously like the money that comes from it, as to your agenda of trashing it, that's between you and those "multiple opposing thoughts in my head at the same time." No puns or insults intended. Just saying it like it is, from your own post. However, quoting Atlas Shrugged. "There are no contradictions. If you arrived at one, then check your premises" It would help build character and conviction if a man has NO opposing thoughts, but considers ideas, checks them against themselfs and picks the RIGHT one for himself out of the lot. Be it even the wrong one in the ultimate outcome, at least it can still be said about that man that he is a man of character and conviction, and if he was wrong he will learn. And that the life he lives is HIS OWN. [ 11-04-2005, 04:54 PM: Message edited by: Soback ]
  20. What excessive profits? After all these posts you STILL don't understand what capitalism is. Go BUY STOCK. Go INVEST. Trade. Work. Profit. Go buy oil industrys stock and STOP COMPLAINING. My post above stands. You have been given capitalism, and your schooling failed you completlhy and utterly. And if you really want to know the truth about liberals point of view. Learn how you are being used by the top richest liberals in US. Kennedys paid 100,000+ thousand on 500 MILLION inheritance. You know why those rich liberals are pushing so hard for taxation for the rich and wellfare for the poor. Because they are beyond rich, and others rising up to their level or anywhere near it, is a threat to their political power and to their way of life. They need to control exactly how rich you can get. So their latest scam is 60% inheritance tax. Read a book called "Do as I say, not as I do" and see how the corrupt liberal billionaires are paying less than 200,000 in taxes, while the rest of the "rich" (by your standsards) pay 80% of taxes in US. Socialism is what is raping this country, forcing people to move their assets overseas, hide them from socialists that think anyone who has earned more than they did, is not entitled to keep his earnings. How powerful would this country be again if we went back to our capitalistic roots? We would have NO national debt, we would be the true Novus Ordo Seclorum. So stop with this excess profits, and go make money like a capitalist, instead of complaining like a socialist.
  21. http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.ad...S00010000000001 What do people in Florida do after a huricane? They either move someplace else, find a job, pay rent and go on with their lives. Or they stay, keep their old job or get a new one, re-build their homes, and go on with their lives. What do people in California do after an earthquake? Same thing, they rebuild, WITHOUT government assistance, or they move, AGAIN, WITHOUT GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE. What is this noncence then? "WASHINGTON (Nov. 3) - Warned by angry Texas officials that thousands of Hurricane Katrina evacuees could soon face eviction from their new homes, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is negotiating with officials in Dallas to set up a federally financed housing-voucher program, municipal officials said Thursday." WHY are we paying for this? These are ADULTS? And they are treated like the rest of us are adults and this are some helpless kids. Why are we picking up the tab? Why are we paying for their living? This is ludicrous. Normal people STRIVE to be self sufficient. They cope with circumstances. They GO AND FIND work. What is this comlete and utter BS. Am I and those close to me the only ones? Why isn't the rest of America not standing up and saying ENOUGH. If my home in CA was damaged during an earthquake, does ANYONE here think that I would get ANY government help? Does anyone here think that I would even want governments help? Why are we not holding the rest of USA's population to the bare minimum standard of being a HUMAN, and instead treat them like house pets, buing their food and proving kennels at my and other peoples expense? Thousands of illigals are working the fields in CA. So I KNOW we need field workers here. Kick out the illegals, and stop this wellfare hand outs. And amazingly, there WILL be US citizens plowing fields and picking fruit. Who do you think did it in the 30's? Hasn't anyone seen the movie "Painted House". It was the poor people who picked fruit, living in tents. It wasn't the illegals, replacing those poor so that they could collect wellfare. Thousands of illegals are working at Wallmart because US citizens are not happy making bare minimums. Why work 10 hours a day they say, when you can sit at home and make the same ammount. WHY? If they didn't have wellfare, would they work 10 hours a day for the same money as what wellfare was providing them with? We already KNOW that they can live on that much. America WILL change. All I see is, if it doesn't change by political processes, it will have to change by force. Just like during the revolution. I mean look at France, their 20% unemployed are already rioting. All because socialism killed to corporations that provided the jobs, that put food on the tables, then the money run out, and that's what you get.

  23. Oh, well my appologies to Nomad then. That defenition sure sounds harsh. If anything, I meant it in a "you silly" kind of way for thinking about the wrong Spanish that I was talking about, not insulting.
  24. Well, there you go. Now Nomad knows. Doofus is name calling? Since when? What's posted in that link above is name calling, so I would speak up and e-mail your liberal ellected officials, you know, maybe remind them that when they go ellected, conservatives didn't shoot them, let alone throw cookies and shakes at them while making racist remarks. Scary to think how that would even go over coming from a conservative, and I mean the conservatives themselfs would be the first one to stand up and tell them to stop acting like animals.
  25. quote:Originally posted by nomad: What the hell has all this to do with Spain ? They had a horrendous civil war who caused millions of casualties when the right and extreme-right did'n accept the outcome of free elections where the population choosed the left (rings any known bell ?). Since they finally got democracy in the late 70's, they choosed to be ruled by socialists till 1996, where they gave power to the right (Popular Party), and in 2004, they reinstated again the socialists. So it's not that they don't have any idea about policies from the right. In fact, they even have experienced the right like you never had too... Spanish, as in South Americans or Mexicans, that are in USA, you doofus. With todays liberal pc crap, it's no longer Mexican or Asian or *insert whatever*.
