So you saying that he is the only one of all the man celebrities who uses cosmetics? The only one who dresses weird? (and where the link is between dressing weird, using cosmetics and child molestation is completly beyond me, going by that logic half a San Francisco is child molestors then). Leaves gay magazines on his desk? You have personally been to his house, saw that? But in any case, even if he does, does having those magazines make him a child molestor? Going by that logic, every gay is a child molestor then. Look, he has been sued plenty of times now. Maybe he molests them (which haven't been proven), maybe he just helps them (which is what IS PROVEN), but after the first scandal the smart thing to do would be tell them all to buzz of and never try to help any of them at all. It reminds me of that case where Safeway used to hand out it's expired produce every day. Then the same people who were begging for those hand outs, knowing that it's expired and is being given to them for free, turn around and sue Safeway for giving out expired food. Well Safeway burns it's expired produce now, and those begars go hungry. Draw the line here street, not on who dresses how and puts on what make up, and has what on his desk.

ID Theft becoming Big Business for some
Soback replied to Charles Lindsey's topic in Science, Technology & Health
Hey, nothing wrong with that. We all use credit, now we can get our credit reports free come September 1st (as it should be, after all it's your information), and we can buy services which help you straighten out your credit history if someone steals your identity (you can liken it to buying theft insurance for your property). I heard they actually handle things pretty well if you have that insurance and run into any kind of problem. As far as them making a profit off of us (charging for services they provide after all), it goes both ways, we ask for the credit lines they provide and products they sell. Without them you would have to ask your friends or parents for a loan on that new car, house or whatever else you want to buy. -
America's Army (2.4) [Q-Course] Released!
Soback replied to Freyar's topic in PC Gaming & Technology
Umm... yeah, not clear at all. Controlling a character on the screen and doing something physical is pretty much the same thing I guess, just like flying in Microsoft Flight simulator 2004 and then flying a real plane, I for one can't tell the difference, because that boundry is not that clear. ROFL. I guess that's why that guy flew a little cessna 172 into an office building a little after 9/11, he thought he was playing Microsoft flight sim. Maybe that's why kids flip out and shoot someone at school, must be some game they played, nothing to do with family, education and upbringing. Guess that's why people inlist in the army, because they played that game and thought, "Hey, it's going to be just like that", ROFL. Great statement paranide, makes total sence. ROFL With all seriousness, the only ones I've seen who can't tell between reality and fiction are the ones on drugs or crazy people, and if you even suspect that your friend or family member doesn't KNOW for a fact that being shot in the game is ok, but being shot in real life can be fatal, I recomend getting them some help ASAP. -
High School Students Hack SSNs Out Of School Networks
Soback replied to Freyar's topic in Science, Technology & Health
Yeah, blame the cop not the criminal, blame the software company not the hacker, blame the victim not the one who commited the crime. Makes perfect sense. How about it's the hackers fault, and you slam them SO hard that when another hacker even thinks about doing something illegal he gets shivers down his spine because of repercussion. See how much hacking will be happening then. -
Yeah, I have stoped buying games with dreamcatcher logo on them a while back. Even if the game caught my eye, they were consistently dissapointing. As far as organizing the forums, maybe there should be like a rating system for every thread, and users could rate it from one to 10 on the bottom. That way, if you set to see nothing below 7 for example, all the trash is filtered out.

Not really, more like disturbing. That's why when I eat fast food and something crunches, I just bite down harder and swallow. LOL

An impromptu Interview w/ a Tank Specialist DU related
Soback replied to a topic in Science, Technology & Health
The mice would NOT die of radiation in just a couple of minutes. The goats mangled and turned inside out? From radiation? He watched too many sci-fi horror movies, whats the one with dogs turned inside out? ROFL. And the gigger counter going off? So what about all the people who have worked and still work for years upon years in tanks with DU munition? What a joke, why even post it Jag, you know exactly who will jump on the wagon full of bs. But hey, just like the chinese say, in closed mouth no fly can go into, I guess we will just have to sit and laugh. -
Concord also had 100+ buyers before ever making a single flight.

It will be, 10 years ago it would've made bucks, but in this day and age, not anymore.

Iraq bomb takes `angel' of mercy
Soback replied to jamotto's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
"So Ruzicka stayed. And on Saturday, Ruzicka died, killed by a car bomb that was not aimed at her but took her just the same. Along with an Iraqi colleague, the 28-year-old Californian became the very figure she had gone to Iraq to help: a civilian casualty of war." How about NOT a civilian casualty or war, but ANOTHER casualty of terrorism, or was it US troops that drove that car bomb? -
New Pope Elected on Second Day of Conclave
Soback replied to jamotto's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Don't you know that socialists at their very roots are completly anti-religious. That's why you see them spitting acid at anything that has to do with Catholics and Christians because you can't judge people, can't say what's good and what's evil, what's right and what's wrong, not supposed to have an opinion, character and have morals period, what a joke. Budha and other religions of the "minority" on the other hand are a completly different story. And what's wrong with promoting absitnence now? Hmm..interesting how religion is good, but when it gets in the way or personal pleasure and good morals, guess what, it's out the door from there on. Sony Invention Beams Sights, Sounds Into Brain
Soback replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Science, Technology & Health
Another prime example of these bull patents. The patent is based on an INSPIRATION idea. What the (*&%(*^? Why are we allowing that? You shouldn't be able to have a patent till you actually have something. What if I want to patent space travel engines that bend space? Maybe I should, my family will rule the universe in a couple hundred years. -

Florida judge denies latest appeal in Schiavo case
Soback replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
People in her condition not would only want to live, but would want to be REHABILITATED. The way she is right now, to someone who doesn't know much about the "condition", seems like an empty existence. However, people who are in her "condition", if provided with therapy, recover. Less than 10% recover fully, but 80% recover and re-learn to speak (with a lisp or some kind of little tell tale sign, but speak with full comprehension), move, eat and all the other things. Just like Jag said, she has recieved ZERO therapy. None whatsoever. How do you expect her to recover on her own? She can't, it's impossible. Everyone needs therapy after something drastic. Any of you ever had to wear a cast for half a year? Do you know that you can't bend your joints after the cast is removed? Do you know that if you don't theraputically exercise them that you will never regain full joint mobility. Plain and simple. As for the reference to Germany in 1939, Jag is copmletly correct on that one too. Of course it's not in fully blown here, maybe not yet. But just like there, the claims are that she is a drain on resources, never will recover ect...However, she has never even been provided with a chance to recover, in all these years, wonder why. Guess money speaks louder to her "husband", and the public jumps in, and surprisingly a good ammount of liberal democrats say, Kill her. The same ones that "waste" millions to clean up birds after the oil spill, the same ones that waste millions on helping gang members and drug dealers to "rehabilitate", the same ones that spend millions on protecting and "endagered" butterfly, the same ones that spend millions keeping murderers in jail, the same ones that march outside the execution chamber of a murderer who killed dozens saying that killing him is immoral. Go figure. Who here is sick, sick in the head, people who want to help her recover, or people who just want her to die with no chance? Hmm.... History repeats itself, and looks like that cycle is begining, economically, socialy, moraly, and otherwise. -
Thieves make off with three-bedroom brick house
Soback replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in General Chatter
Yeah, why not, nothing wrong with shooting a thief stealing your car, nothing wrong with shooting a thief period, be it in your house, or your property. Wonder where the owners of the house were for those 3 months? Maybe it was abandoned, and the land sold (to those retailers). So they figured that the construction will tear the house down anyway, so might as well take what they can, but I guess that part is not told because then the story wouldn't be as exciting. The funny part is, they recovered the property (parts of the house). Wonder if the guy they sold it to started building his place with it. -
Still, same old X2. I have that game, played it for about 2 days. So many faults, it's not even worth discussing. But hey, some people seem to be really into that game. Just not my cup of tea I guess. PS, now that it brings up old memories, I am still po'ed at their space representation, each sector broken down into a neat box, that feels so small it's just ludicrous. They shoul've used freelancers approach, with shipping lanes, wormholes and jumpgates. Their method just does not work, they should've figured it out whith the second game they made (forget what it was called).

Senate Votes to Open Alaskan Oil Drilling
Soback replied to jamotto's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Look, the simple truth is, we have to drill, to get more oil. Yes it's not enough for the general public use, but when it hits the fan, and we will need to power our military so that they can go out and provide our country with fuel by other means, then that fuel (from Alaska, and the reserves) will be enough for the military. Don't you see that? It's our country's security and independence that we are securing for the future. On the global scale it's not how loud you scream, it's how big a stick you cary. WWII should've taught you that. The situation that Israel is in should've taught you that. The Afghanistan and Iraq should've taught you that. And with this new oil, US will have a bigger stick. Simple... -
Senate Votes to Open Alaskan Oil Drilling
Soback replied to jamotto's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
170,000 barrels that he sends daily is a drop in the ocean, and 60 million that they want released is what? 3 days worth? All that is is a back scratcher deal for the dems. No, and no, you don't raid the reserve, it's like living off of your savings, and you don't stop the 170,000 shipments to it, that's like not saving for retirement. Both lead to you, with your butt on the street and no $ in the bank (metaphorically). So what Bush doing is right, developing in Alaska is giving US something to fall back on in 10 or 15 years if #@$%T hits the fan. That oil, 1mill barrels a day of it, will probly be barely enough for the military use in 10 years, that's why it's being developed now. You gotta think ahead, not just what today brings. There's no way to solve the oil problems, especially with the China bulging at the seams with it's population and growing economically. Just wait till that bubble bursts. Why aren't people noticing that? It's like being in a room with a dynamite stick, and everyone just averts their eyes, like not looking will save you when it blows. -
Doesn't really sound that funny. It's just another way to extort money. That's all taxes have become this days, doesn't matter what you think you owe, or what you really should pay for, or for what you should be taxed for. You just pay up what THEY tell you, and that's that. Legalized extortion, all it is.

By the way Doc, don't take offense at me saying that I brought it down to your level of discussion. I had to explain it to you like I would to a child. I don't blame you, I blame the socialist upbringing. See, the way they raised you is by telling you that everyone is equal, and you are no better then the person next to you in line, you are a part of the team that's all, just another link in the chain. They have destroyed your identity by telling you that, and they have also tried to leave your cognitive abilities underdeveloped, because they want you to treat what they say as the ultimate truth. I know all that because I came from Russia, and they have tried to do the same thing to me. That's why you believe that every human being is the same, and that all are equal (even the criminal trash on the streets), and that the social wellfare is good and fair (even for those who don't contribute to it) and all deserve equal rights, even criminals, murderers and terrorists. You see, without them brainwashing you like this from birth, socialism would never work, because people don't want to work and have what they have earned taken away, it's so very simple and primal, people want to achieve for themselfs, not to share with the bum on the corner, the sharing with the bum comes from good heart when you are already happy with what you have ahcieved for yourself. The logic that everyone is not the same actually holds true, and it's so primal that it screams at you, you would have awakened that simple knowledge from birth (were you not raised in a socialist society), but it's still in you, and that's why you know perfectly well that terrorists are not the same, just like a mad monkey that keeps killing other monkeys in it's group. See how simple it is, and why I say for a european to understand, and down to your philisofical level?

A soldier doesn't target civilians. When civilians get killed in a war zone, they are a casualty of war, soldiers go through more pains than you can imagine to avoid injuring or killing civilians, they even give their lives if that prevents killing innocents. So please Doc, like I said, don't irritate people with this rubish, trying to confuse the issues, like the socialist democrats here do. Terrorists are not missguided (actually they have better guidance then the college students at top universities do, flip floping on their majors without goals in life), they are not stupid (they know exactly how, when, and where to get what they want done), they do have reason, the only thing is, their reason is so different from yours that there's no hope of communication because niether you nor him will understand the others view point. But you know what, to break it down for a european to understand (no offense). If you find a mangled body beyond recognition, and you start talking, and somehow the body makes noise, and talks back, and you undertand what it says, and you find it it's a man, do you consider it human? Im sure you do, because you understand what it says, you understand that it's a human being who has been hurt, therefore the brain, the reason that goes on is what makes that form human. Now you talk to the terrorist, and he keeps yelling how Allah is great, and he must kill all around him, even other arabs who believe in Allah but from a different sect. He tells you how he will mutilate them, cut off their heads, blow them up, tear them to pieces and sings happys songs as he does it. Is he human? He sounds worse than an animal. He is not on even on the same plane of reason that 90% of the world is, even animals don't reason like him (animals will kill you for dominance, territory or food). So Doc, I brought it down to your level of philosofical disscussion. Now please, lets not degenerate this thread any further. It's simple, weapons are machines, they are impressive machines because of the power they have physically and otherwise. If you don't like them, then keep it to yourself and go protest outside a gunshop, or maybe you should go protest outside the prison where the killers who used those weapons are, after all, wouldn't that make more sence?
-
Killing terrorists, and killing people is two different things, so don't confuse the issues.

"Tsunami survivors sue U.S. instead of God"
Soback replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
It's actually deserves very much attantion. And CNN is not touching it because it will expose europeans to US citizens for what they are, and will turn even the liberals against them...so at the time when the relations are strained and all the lefties screaming for the european acceptance, the liberals in US can't afford to lose their base, and if this article would get a wide spread attention, guess what, even the lefties would recoil and say to hell with europe. And it would also point a finger at what is becoming of US, with all this nonsence going on. That's why it's not getting the attention it needs. And Doc, if you say the US is the protector, then next time our troops go into your country, don't even dare to scream and yell, just take as is, a protective action, just like it is now in the middle east, alrigh. You can't have it both ways. -
Teens Leaping For Thrills In 'Garage Jumping' Trend
Soback replied to jamotto's topic in General Chatter
Garage needs to take responsibility? When is this gonna stop? Wake up people...natural selection works wonders, when you see people saying things like this, you know that there's already too many who should've been done with, including them themselfs.
