China Launching Constant Attacks on Military Networks
Soback replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Like I said, I know what a DOS attack is. ALSO Like I said, SO FAR THE EVIDENCE POINTS TO CHINA. If Kalshion is saying "I bet those attacks are originating from US", witho ZERO evidence, it might as well be, Germany, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Britain or ANY OTHER COUNTRY. SO FAR THE EVIDENCE POINTS TO CHINA, and his bet on US is based on WHAT? Why not Canada? or why not French for that matter? How hard is that to understand? -

I know what a DOS attack is. So my point stands. There's no evidence that they are orinigating from US, however, the evidence so FAR DOES POINT FOR THEM ORIGINATING FROM CHINA. Read what Kalshion posted, then read my reply to his post. -

No, not at all. That quote is the complete truth, and everyone who knows history, knows that cycle. What stage is US, Europe and Asia is in now? Those who deny history, are made to repeat it's mistakes. You can liken them to people who scream that the world is warming (or cooling), and that it's humanitys fault, without bothering to dig into history to learn that it's been cycling like that for millennias, but I guess that's a subject for another thread. Seeing how this one is about a social government, and peoples lives under socialism, where individualism is regarded as bad, and egoism evil, and maybe a little bit of democracy thrown in to show why democracy will fail too, and the only form of government is non intrusive, capitalism where people deal with each other (or not) on their own terms, and the government is there just for infrastructure maintenance (roads and such), police (to protect the civilians from criminals), army (to PROTECT your country from others), leaving everything else to a free market economy, no social services whatsoever coming from the goverment, any help being offered at the free choice of individuals/corporations/or citizen established trusts, where you either live or die, make it or not, of your own choices and consequences. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...&sn=001&sc=1000 Hmmm..and I wonder why Asia has the highest suicide rate in the whole world. They literraly tell you how your facial hair should be, how long the hair on your head should be, they block the messages that you can send from cell phone to cell phone based on it's content, they tell you what kind of music you can and can't listen to, ect.........to infinity. And then the articles come out that people die in cyber caffees from playing 50+ hours without a break, here's WHY. IT IS because they DO NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF OTHER FREEDOM EXCEPT THE FREEDOM THEY CAN EXPERIENCE IN A GAME. That's what a SOCIALIST GOVERMENT IS, a prime example of it, it's where the society runs your life, LITERALLY. There's no individual, and like Hillary says "it takes a village to raise a child". The society decides what is legal and what is illegal, the society decides what you can and can not put into YOUR body, what you can and can not do with YOUR body, and even whether you can or can NOT protect yourself. The society says that it will protect you by police force (we all know how that works, police is there AFTER the crime is commited, not before, they are not at your house 24/7 to protect you from a burglar, murderer, rapist) so does it protect your rights to live or a criminals rights to kill you?, the society tells you that they will educate your children, we also know how that goes (they pump them full of BS, like social ed, studies of Islam "where's the separation of church and state by the way", sex ed at 13, equality...ect...) so does the society raise your child to be an individual or a brik in that society that will fit into it's mindless class of never questioning support of there is no right or wrong, just a different opinion "just another brick in the wall" <--sounds familiar?, and not only that, but they have the immunity if your child gets hurt or killed when attending that social institution. The society takes your hard earned money and decides what to do with it based on who needs it, not who EARNED it. "Democracy will always fail, because when people learn that they can vote themselfs a raise, they will continue to do so till the collapse." Who knows where that quote came from, and what empire that quotes referred to? [ 08-24-2005, 11:00 PM: Message edited by: Soback ]

China Launching Constant Attacks on Military Networks
Soback replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
quote:Originally posted by Kalshion: how much you want to bet these attacks are really being done from within the US, but are being done through the China servers? Reason I say that is because on a board I moderate (SMB, the same board i posted about that one topic) had a service of denial attack and it originated from China's servers, but with no proof or server log's, there's nothing that can be done So what makes you think the attacks originate from US? I mean the lead points to China, but where are you getting US from. China servers are a fact, your US statement is based on what? -
"Boll is exempt because he funds them under a loophole in German tax law that is supported by contributors and actually rewards movies that perform badly, via a writeoff at the end of the year." It is actually in his BEST insterest to turn out the movie that is @#$%^&. Why is there a tax break for failure? Oh what a country, rewarding failures with tax breaks, gotta love it.

Yeah, he ramages the forums and about once a week dumps his "intellect" in top 10 threads. Oh, by the way, AN EXCELENT, perfect example of LIBERAL CALIFORNIAN, 95% of Berkley consists of people EXACTLY like that, presenting those VERY arguments, and about 80% of San Francisco. Do you see what I mean when I say that people like that can NOT survive without people like us? They NEED us to live, we DO NOT need them. He lives in US, yet the VERY CORE of US, it's history, on what principles and how it was created "load of crap". The ENEMY WITHIN. -

To the extent that if you are walking in PUBLIC NAKED, DO NOT EXPECT PRIVACY. Are the cameras in your home? NO, then what are you yelling about? You do know that anyone can take pictures of anyone on public streets. RIGHT? What a concept, privacy in public, THATS AN OXYMORON. Public = for all, private = yours. Privacy in public, you know what the opposite of that would be? That's like designating your private house, public. How can you have either? Oh man....how some people think...unbelievable. They want one thing, but completly opposed to the other, not realizing that what they want is two things that don't match. -

What are you talking about. "The NYCLU's Lieberman concedes the cameras can help solve crimes. But she claims there's no proof that they deter terrorism or more mundane crime, and some critics say it just pushes crime to where the cameras aren't." Which means that NOW you will know where the crimes will be, WHERE THE CAMERAS AREN'T. LOL "No one's saying there should be no video cameras, but let's not look at them as a quick fix," she said. " So she is NOT saying that there should NOT be video cameras, YET the rest of the article is all about how ACLU is saying that there should NOT be video cameras. Oh man, what a mouthfull. I will take a straight talking guy that I disagree with anyday over scum like this. AND "The NYCLU plans to post an interactive map on its Web site pinpointing the location of each surveillance camera, and it may include a feature for the camera-shy that would highlight the least-surveilled route between two points." I wonder who that information would be usefull to? A regular citizen or a criminal. "ACLU working for YOU" Definition of YOU, go ahead people, give it a shot and post WHO that YOU is. -
LOL< anyhow, the shuttle landed, go type "Shuttle landing" at yahoo, that will give you the scoop, the pics and whatnot. On the other hand, what really is interesting, what are we going to be sending up now.

You don't see the funny in my post? LOL, yeah you are right, maybe it's too close to truth, cause it would be VERY funny if it wasn't the sad truth funny. Still funny however, tears rolling funny, some laughter tears, some sad tears, some mixed laughter and sad tears. OH, and the 86 hour Lee guy, yeah he owned that 50 hour Lee guy. Now who is up next for the record breaker, bet you whoever it is, will be in China.

Nah, I think we should just make the whole thing illegal outright. It's for your own good, you just don't know it yet, society and government does however, so take their word for it. "Hillary and mothers of America united against gaming addiction of our kids" Their foundation: It's not the mans fault, it's the gaming companys fault for making their games too addictive. You see, the computer collaberated with the game to kill him. Just like when police arrive at the car accident, and find the car wrapped around a tree, with the guy that flew out of the car, 20 feet away and reecking of alcohol. It was all planned by the alcohol, that enticed the car, then both of them convinced the seat belt, and the three of them forced the tree. So the police report goes like this: alcohol forced the guy to get into the car, then the car and the alcohol convinced the seat belt not to buckle, and then three of them forced the tree to jump in front. BUT, no worries, the society and the government have a solution, they will outlaw alcohol, get rid of seatbelts, make cars illegal, and then the trees, the trees will only be allowed in controlled areas as not only do they cause accidents but spontaniously catch fire too. Conclusion = the induvidual is NEVER to blame.

14 Marines Killed in Iraq as President Bush Vacations

ROFL, For Nomad, there are no ABSOLUTES. The WORLD is a NON-ABOSLUTE place, where reason as he stated from another thread, sometimes does not matter because it does not make sence. ROFL what an oxymoron. THAT, as you see Prez, is the results of shrugging reason, of deleting it from equasion, of turning your head on reality of things. The result is comparing apples and oranges by saying they are the same, by saying that "No one is innocent here, everyone acts according to his own selfish interests here..." There are no innocents, not in the 9/11, not in Pearl Harbor, not even in WWII Germany, not the people under Sadam regime, it's all relative, depending from what side you look at it. NO, it's NOT Nomad. It's NOT realtive, THERE ARE TWO SIDES, ONE IS WRONG, ONE IS RIGHT, THE MIDDLE IS EVIL, AND THE REALITY IS THE FINALS JUDGE. Sadam - WRONG (or was he just running his country), Hitler - WRONG (or was he just running his country too?), 9/11 Hijackers - WRONG (or where they freedom fighters), Terrorists - WRONG (or is that just another way to prove a point), Gay marriage - WRONG (or is that just an alternative life style), Child molesting - WRONG (or is that just an alternative choice too), Murder - WRONG (or is that just another way of recreation) Oil for Food - WRONG (or were they just looking out for their interests). Are things relative Nomad or is there just right and wrong? Because from your argument, terrorists (Chechens for example) are just fighting for their country, Sadam - he was just a president running his country, Oil for food - well you guys (US) did it too, Gay marriage - well they are people too, you see Nomad, you can justify anything you want, it DOES NOT, HOWEVER, MAKE IT RIGHT. Learn it Nomad, WRONG is just that WRONG. Do NOT justify it. Stop it, because people WILL see, or I WILL show them. -
World hunger solved, ROFL...

Oh I see, you were being sarcastic. You see, where we missunderstood each other is I DO believe that if you do not teach kids to be proud of their potential, to teach them that others are their equals no matter what, to teach them that they shouldn't judge and be humble throttles their brains, sets them up to be taken advantage off...ect (what I posted way back), SO I took your comparison literally at face value, and therefore did think that you were saying that teaching kids to be proud, to know their value, to know the value of their mind would make them grow up like Hitler. I see now how you did not mean it in literal sence. --"Your predicting how children would grow up based on that? That's like saying teaching them your way will make them grow up like Hitler." My appologies. I missunderstood what you posted.

quote:Originally posted by Cruis. In: Drugs are just so huge and so incomprehensibly so, that I'm afraid you are really not grasping it's significance. I mean that from a lack of experience and not knowledge... I am a narcotics officer, or narc as you probably call them... anyway, and I don't know everything, but it is very scary. So much people involved in trafficking, I just can't fuss my head to name them. I mean, your neighbors, baggage handlers, bus drivers, school teachers, police officers, politicians agg it's just all corrupt. Oh man, that's preciselly IT. They are involved in drug trafficing. Making money under the table, BIG money, illegaly and some willing to kill for it too. You legalize it, what happens? Are they going to traffic drugs then? Are they going to sell it on the corners for hundreds of dollars? They try that and the consumer would laugh at their face, go to the store and buy a packet like he would by a cigarete pack. Is anyone going to be shooting someone over drugs then? Do you see people shooting each other over cigaretes? Do you see politicians being bribed by cigarettes? Do you see bus drivers selling cigarettes to passengers? Do you see corrupt police officers confiscating cigarettes to re-sell them back on the streets for their own profits? The answer to all these is NO. The benefits are, personal freedom, taxes for your beloved politicians to support your society, decline in crime such as drug involved shootings, stabbings, murders, a major decrease in drug trafficing (now there would be a legal way to get them into the country, and yet another source of revenue), more jobs created as employees would be needed to run the stores selling drugs, the factories to roll those marijuana joints, the boxes to package them, the drivers to deliver them. What IS THE DOWNSIDE? Please, list me the downsides, I want to know, because so fart I haven't heard any good excuses against legalization, driving under the influence is the major excuse, and if that's it, then make alcohol and cough medicine illegal too. However, I could see your point, as a Narc, you would be out of a job.

quote:Originally posted by Cruis. In: quote:We know better, you destroy our childrens minds with bs like that, they grow up not knowing their potential, throttling their brains, and grow up subjugated and taken advantage of by every thug and passerby. No one ever took advantage of me. My brain isn't throttled. Your predicting how children would grow up based on that? That's like saying teaching them your way will make them grow up like Hitler. You are making very big assertions. Fluff, all fluff. ROFL, Hitler. George Bush was likened to Hitler, Arnold was likened to Hilter, and now I, because of my ways, am likened to Hitler. You liberals sure do have one thing in common. Whenever a man stands on his own two feet, whenever he shrugs off the ties of society, whenver he disagrees, whenever he refuses to be subjugated, he is the HITLER. Do you know WHO Hitler was? Do you know WHAT Hitler did? Do you know what Hitler believed in? Do you know WHY Hitler was doing all the acts of violence? AND Finally DO YOU KNOW WHY HE COULD COMIT ALL THOSE ACTS? I will give you an answer to the last one. He could do all those acts because people HUMBLED themselfs to him, because he SUBJUGATED them, because they CONFORMED to his policies and views, because people gave up their FREE WILL, because they gave up their identity, they betrayed the character of a human being, they let a dictator and the society that dectator created RUN their lives. They because a mindless group, the slaves and the slave drivers, and anyone who retained and lived by their own mind ceased to be a member of that group, to be EXTERMINATED by FORCE. Cruis.In. you have dug yourself a hole that you will NEVER climb out of. Answer me this Cruis.In. Who is more like Hitler, me with a FREE MIND, or you who tries to HUMBLE me, to control me with your society because what is good for society is good for everyone, and if you disagree, then you cease to be a member of that society. Whos way of life more likely to put Hitler in control, YOURS with conformity, with pursuit of ones happiness at the cost of your neighbors, with group mentality, or MINE with FREE WILL and pursuit of INDIVIDUALITY, and ones Happiness at the cost of no-one elses. How about not teaching the kids my WAYS. But teaching them that they are a PERSON WITHING THEMSELFS. That they are FREE and that they DO NOT OWN anyone a thing, that they are to pursue their dreams without forcing anyone to "help" them in their pursuit, because by the same token as they do not own anything to anyone, nobody owns them what they didn't EARN either. And that they are not to LET anyone subjugate them, leech off of them, manipulate them, control them, humble them, nor are they to give up their FREE WILL to society, to be a conformist at the cost of their character, to be a slave at the cost of their mind. As this thread is about Americas Army, and we started talking about how proud American Army is, if you think that our soldiers are humble, and subjugated you are mistaken. Just because they serve in the army and follow orders doesn't make them slaves, when they signed up for the army, they signed their word as a man, as a FREE MAN at that. Army gave them value in form of training and pay that they are to re-pay with the value of their service. If you think a soldier is not proud of himself, or is controllable, try and say that to his face, or try to force him, see if you walk away with your face looking the same way when you insult him, or with both your hands if you force him. Give a person respect he deserves, he will give you what you deserve in return. Steal respect from a person, he will not only take yours, he will make you pay for what was stolen from him. quote:Originally posted by Matchoo: quote:arrogance n : OVERBEARING pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors quote:confidence n 1: freedom from doubt; belief in yourself and your abilitiesI think the main difference in the two items above is the first throws away all humility while the second retains the humility which adds strength. Arrogance is DIFFERENT FROM PRIDE, it's OVERBEARING pride. Being ARROGANT is bad, being PRIDEFULL is not. While being HUMBLE, no matter how you spin it (humbling, humble, to humble, humbling), you are just that, HUMBLE. If you are religious, you can humble yourself to God, do not humble yourself to MAN. "Hum-ble = 1-not proud or haughty ; not arrogant or assertive, 2- offered in a spirit of deference or submission (appology) 3, ranking low in some hierarchy or scale (insignificant), 4 - to destroy the power, independence or prestige of. "The word humility signifies lowliness or submissiveness an it is derived from the Latin humilitas or, as St. Thomas says, from humus, i.e. the earth which is beneath us. As applied to persons and things it means that which is abject, ignoble, or of poor condition, as we ordinarily say, not worth much." "These definitions coincide with that given by St. Thomas: "The virtue of humility", he says, "Consists in keeping oneself within one's own bounds, not reaching out to things above one, but SUBMITING TO ONE'S SUPPERIOR" (Summa Contra Gent., bk. IV, ch. lv, tr. Rickaby). " NONE of those three paragraphs convey to me why somone would volantarily humble oneself, or say to someone that him NOT being humble is bad, unless they wanted that someone to humble himself, to gain conrol over him, to enslave him. If you tell a person that knows his worth, that has pride in himself and his work, that has a free mind to humble himself, he will laugh at you, if you force him, he will respond by force, he will simply not SUBMIT.

Let's face facts, Europe's being run by cowards
Soback replied to Soback's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
I have read your entire post Nomad. Having health and retirement benefits doesn not make you rich, and does not mean you are not poor, on the contrary it seems that those same retirement and health benefits actually DO make them poor because they have to provide for EVERYONE at the cost of their own, taking what you earn and spreading it around. Having job security at the cost of millions of others not being able to get ahead and accomplish their dreams is a tremendous price, it's slavery and subjugation of those millions at the cost of security for others. I shudder to think of myself in those circumstances, China has the highest suicide rate in the whole world, they are also the most socialistic government in the whole world. Their suicide is highest for people between the ages of 20 and 35. When a person discovers that he can not live his life for his own purposes and in pursuit of his own happiness, and being powerless to change that, he also discovers that his life is therefore worthless to himself. Those who can live under those conditins have never discovered the freedom of their mind, or the value of their life. and THIS "In Europe, things may be discussed for too long because we want to take even the smallest variable into account before taking any decision. This may lead that when the decision is finally taken, so much time has elapsed that the analyzed situation is now obsolete and the whole process has to start all over again..." Nomad, if that is how you run a country, how can you tell me that EU will not fail, and the contries that comprise it will not collapse? It is simply un-real. It means that NOTHING gets done, or the things that do get done weren't worth doing in the first place. I am horrified to see people in US who actually support and want to bring the same model of government and business into US, and I will NOT give up my freedoms, the only way you can take them from me is by force, and I will defend them till my last breath, and after that last breath, what you will have is nobody to take that freedom from. So in light of all this, Reason stands to differ that when you turn your head away from this monstorcity, and say that on one hand it's bad, on the other it's good, the bad being enslavement of millions the good being millions sustaining off of those slaves, because that is what it really is, by agreeing or just spreading your hands with silent gesture of "what can I do", then it is simple, Europe IS being run by cowards. -
None of those three are definitions of HUMILITY. 1. is a half definition for belief in God. 2. is just a statement that you need to earn things, not demand them. 3. responding properly to anger when others violate one's personal rights? To who's anger, to those who violate your rights, or do you mean managing your own anger? That didn't make any sence. In any case, like I said, NONE of those three are definitions of HUMILITY. I have already DEFINED it for you. Here let me show you again: "Hum-ble = 1-not proud or haughty ; not arrogant or assertive, 2- offered in a spirit of deference or submission (appology) 3, ranking low in some hierarchy or scale (insignificant), 4 - to destroy the power, independence or prestige of. You go ahead and be humble, I, Jaguar and people like us, we know our own worth. And don't you dare try to trap us into guilt that not being humble is bad. We know better, you destroy our childrens minds with bs like that, they grow up not knowing their potential, throttling their brains, and grow up subjugated and taken advantage of by every thug and passerby. Proud, assertive, non submissive, high ranking, independent, prestigious, that's all the oposites of humble. I am that man, NOT HUMBLE, and our troops are those soldiers, NOT HUMBLE. The true definition of humble in that dictionary should be: Humble - Ashamed, lousy, submissive, apologetic, low ranking, weak. As you notice, it puts NON - in front of all the good qualities of man." AND HERE'S HUMILITY FROM CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07543b.htm "The word humility signifies lowliness or submissiveness an it is derived from the Latin humilitas or, as St. Thomas says, from humus, i.e. the earth which is beneath us. As applied to persons and things it means that which is abject, ignoble, or of poor condition, as we ordinarily say, not worth much." AND HERE'S THE VIRTUE OF HUMILITY DEFINED, quoted from the same encyclopedia. "These definitions coincide with that given by St. Thomas: "The virtue of humility", he says, "Consists in keeping oneself within one's own bounds, not reaching out to things above one, but SUBMITING TO ONE'S SUPPERIOR" (Summa Contra Gent., bk. IV, ch. lv, tr. Rickaby). " Cruis.In. REASON IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST OF HUMAN VALUES, IT'S WHAT MAKES US HUMAN, ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO REASON, YOU CAN NOT DEFY REALITY NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY. STOP DIGGING YOURSELF A HOLE< READ MY QUOTE< AND JUST STOP.
