Hey they rejected help from Israel, well, maybe there's people here who want to reject aid to them, but have no choice because it was decided for them by the government and the donation was forcibly taken out of their taxes. And to nomad. US donated the most, Europe and France is right there on the bottom, if you want to count strict numbers. But if you want to count by comparison to the size of the economy. Here's my answer. You know why cells can only get so big? It has something to do with simple math, as the cell grows it's surface area starts exceeding it's cube area, which means it can't get rid of waste, and it takes more energy to support itself. The ratio goes up exponentially. Therefore, US has bigger economy, and it takes more of that economy to put money back into US. But all that aside, I've said it a million times. I (US) don't own anyone, anything. Nothing, not a single thing. And the government shouldn't be contributing on my behalf without consulting me on how to spend my taxes, but they did. So they (Sri lanka) and the world should take that aid and shut up, because frankly US citizens are getting tired of all this, and no, the world (especially europe) can't sustain itself without US. So take it as a fact, and live with it. Be happy US gave help, and be thankful that we gave the most help, (or we could've contributed like france did, a couple of hundred thousand $, ROFL, that's just insulting, but I don't see them complaining about that), and if they are so hard up for help like Cc said, then they shouldn't have turned down Israels help. A little bit of wishfull thinking would be for US to withdraw all help, from everywhere, and just be it's own pure nationalistic, capitalistic country. See how the world starts singing then... There has been a case like that before. The chick flashed at spring break, saw the picture, sued. The judge ruled that since she flashed on public property without reasonable expectation of privacy, the picture was therefore taken with given concent, no matter the age...

Oh man, yeah, like I said, in X2 the gameplay gets very boring after couple of days, and it's also not the game that you can play for breaks (like freelancer). Battles are waaayyyy better in BC. Here's an example, I don't remember any engagements from X2 at all, none, while I still remember a particular fight way back from BC3000AD, yeah, that long ago, my ship was falling appart, literally, systems red, messages of damages left and right, crew injured and dying, but with the last shot we took the enemy out. Now that was tense, and I wasn't about to give up, not that long into the game (all miners deployed, ship upgrades ect...), crawled to the station and got repairs, in BC you live and die with the ship, and the kicker is how you get to manage the systems and their repairs, you actually care about it rather then just click a button and all systems green, that makes a big difference because there's always some tough decissions to make (do I sign on a marine, or pick up some parts for the interceptor). Awesome.

Two different games. No comparison. In X2, money is a HUGE drive. You need $ for everything. So you buy factories, factories produce stuff, and AI buys stuff. You get $, buy ships, outfit them and fight. The thing is, fighting sucks in that game big time, and interface is very cumbersome. People complain about battlecruiser interface, in my opinion X2s interface is the one that should be complained about. Also, the space in that game is devided into systems much like in BC, but in BC it actually feels like space, in X2 it doesn't. When you jump into a system it feels like a box, with jumpgates into different systems at four corners (exactly the same in every system) and planets (non interactive, you can't do anything with them, not even "land" on them like in freelancer), factories and whatever exists in that system are so close it feels congested, also it's very hard to judge distances between your ship and other things in the game, has something to do with the way the graphics are. I have X2, played it for about 3 days, it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. It's ok if you want a little distraction, but I wouldn't get it if you are looking for something long term. As a matter of fact I wouldn't even recomend it as a distraction (like freelance), because the way the game is meant to be played you need to invest a massive ammount of time in it, but the whole thing is just not fun as you don't feel the tension or the danger (like in BC). I would just stick with BC for long term play, and freelancer for little time to time fast shootouts...

Nah, this game is waaaayyyyy too linear. Once you go through the campaign you have a $50 coaster. No replayability at all. I hate how they advertise the games sometimes as replayable because you can choose to complete the objective a different way. That's pure bs, it's still the same objective, and you still know how the storyline goes...The game has to be open ended, they should've gave you an option to continue the game after the storyline ends, and thrown in some random missions, kinda like freelancer...

Mmmm, yeah, I know. Rechargeable batteries, like (NiMh) will show greatest sustained voltage/ammps during it's lifecycle and then decline rapidly as they die all of a sudden, while alks will decline gradually throughout their lifecycle. I see that that battery is not an alk but still, might as well have a rechargeable battery for regular consumer applications that they are talking about...like cameras, etc...Not only are they better, but you will save yourself money from the third use on...

Rechargeable all the way !!! Anything else is sub standard...

Do like Russia did one time. Put up an Iron Curtain, clean up the mess in your own country, and try to go back to your roots (capitalism) It's the cycle of things...

That's why the trash of US hides behind the free speech. Maybe they do have free speech, but as the people, we should have common sence with good morals and character. We know what's wrong, and when they tell you that it's ok because it's free speech and they are expressing themselfs, listen to what you know best, put your foot down and say enough is enough, shut that garbage up...Eventually the mess will have to get cleaned up and garbage thrown out.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand the whole freedom of speech thing, and that being just a "game" or a sim or whatever you want to call it, on par with Postal or Grand Theft Auto, but on the other hand there was the actual event. And this "game" is completly focused around that whole event, while Grand Theft Auto's action is revolves around other points. Anyhow, yeah, this sim is sick.

So, I was listening to talk radio today. They were discussing how NBC was talking about this lady Hassan's murder and how she is just a casualty of war, and then they went on talking about how savage US marines are, especially the one shooting the Iraq "insurgent" in the head. How he should be prosecuted...etc... Then one caller calls in, and brings up an awesome point. He said: "..how is it that those democrats are voting for the guy to be president when he actually chased down and shot a fleeing teenager in the BACK, and then turn around and talk all this crap and want to prosecute this Marine who was face to face with the enemy when he shot him..." He talked with the host and the conclusion was how warped the democrats are that they would vote for a guy to be president, a guy who killed a fleeing, wounded teen in the back, while wanting to prosecute a soldier that was shot days before, came back to duty (something Kerry ran from), and shot an enemy (the city was deserted of civillians for days) face to face, and how our marines are savages and the "killers" (they used the term insurgents who killed) of Hassan are just doing whats done in war. It's like Allice in Wonderland where the wrong is right, and the right is wrong. That's exactly why Michael Savage says that "Liberalism is a mental dissorder" and with what this liberal democrat media is spewing, Michael is completly right, it is a mental dissorder. So my proposition, pull out that map of blue counties, and cordon them off as mental institutions.
