Hey check this out... something not related to the US!
Soback replied to TARWMSRK's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Well, what's your solution? I know street excuses their actions because they are "freedom fighters". He would like peace talks and negotiations (just like they did for 50+ hours in that school, with kids striped naked, hungry, thirsty, watching people get shot and dangled in front of them, but hey, that's alright, after all that's just different cultures way of negotiating, and who are we to call that barbaric, we need to be understanging and sensetive to their differences). That's exactly the reason for my post above. Let streets family and people like him carry the burden of injury and death from those terrorists, not the innocents who have done nothing wrong. -

Time for Russia to level another couple of Chechen towns, and raize some villages. Then I'll see street start yelling how we are killing freedom fighters, I think I'll just laugh then and count the time when they will come for people like him. I just wish that it was your kids in that school street, your family and your kids kids, well what goes around comes around, maybe one of this days we'll see. -

Well, they started shooting hostages so Russian troops stormed the school. They have shot dozens, maybe hundreds. Reason with that street, you are a complete #$^$@& -

Street, if you have done all you say you've done, then why in the world would you not support extreeme prejudice against the enemies of your people? Negotiations will just delay the inevitable conflict, conflict that when put off will just build up and errupt with greater strenght. To break it down to simpler terms it's just like instead of having little arguments you hold your anger inside and then one day let it all out in a furry. Would you rather have minimal military conflict resolutions throughout the world or one big world war 3 a hundred years later. Negotiations only work to put off the conflict, not to eliminate it. Israel and Palestine, Iraq and Iran, Germany and Russia in WWII, British and USA in the 1800s, those are just but a few perfect examples of negotiations prolonging resolution leading to armed conflicts. -

Street, you are plain out clueless. Negotiate? Peace? Diplomacy? Factions? Russia is a faction? The rebels are factions because they have no centralized leaders, they are not a country they come from villages or towns. Russia is a country with an ellected leader. And in your first post you put terrorists in parrentesis, you don't call them terrorists? It's ok to take a school with kids, kill some of them that wouldn't get in? Don't feed them, let them go to the bathroom, dangle them outside the windows, that's not terrorists? Your views are completly out of phase with reality. Hard facts is Russia has military in Chechneya, a lot of Chechens have long ago said forget the war, we can have our ellected leader and be a part of Russia, the rebels that come from outside major population sources (meaning villages, tribes and such) still stick to the old ways and you have results such as this. When this happens Russian military retaliates and levels a city or a village. As far as I am concerned they should level all the villages and hunt them down like animals in the hills and mountains, and the regular city population should do the same to their uneducated backwards countrymen. Which they are known for doing sometimes by the way. Damn, I just wish that one of this days you would actually get into a situation where there's bullets flying and see the savageness of someone who's eyes are glazed over and foam flying from the mouth while he's yelling something uncomprehensible at you, Reason with that you.......... Reason with someone who takes your kids and locks themselfs inside of school. Good thing Russia doesn't have much people like you, good thing Russians still know that when someone takes people hostage, kills them they don't deserve to sit in prison with cable tv, library, internet access and gym, good thing that they know that all those people deserve is a bullet in the head. -

Uniformed troops should bring a sense of shame

Kerry fights back, with lies, as usual...
Soback replied to a topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Hey, I have a war record too, an extensive one. I fought lobsters climbing from boiling pots, even got injured by their incideous claws, I've fought fish fighting the pull of my rod, was even injured by friendly fire "hook", where's my purple hearts? I think I threw them away in the protest of my defense cells killing those flew cells, morally there was so much murder and all those poor flew cells were just trying to go about their own lifes that I had to protest, but I can't remember if those pills I swallowed were called metals or medals. Come on Takvah, I've proven a long long time ago that you are not a Republican. You still saying that you are? Where's your reply to my post in a "Letter to Kerry" thread? You know why there's no reply, because you actually had absolutly nothing intellingent to say to that, that's why. If you want, I can cut and paste that last post into this thread, see you reply then which will prove AGAIN that you are not a Republican.

Another Democrat Bites the Dust

OOOOOhh, what's that street? Takvah? No reply to that one? LOL, thought so. -
A perfect example of that is the pizza place I used to work at when I was a teen. I still drop by there, have a pizza and talk to the owner. He raised prices recently AGAIN. Why? Because he has to pay more for labour, taxes are up, utility bills are up and his raw material costs (flour, cheese...ect..) went up. Hence the price increase. Why do you think his raw material costs went up? Because the businesses who produce the flour and cheese had the same expense problems, their profits decreased due to increase in taxes, fees and other costs, most of them government caused increases. That's exactly why you pay more at the store, pump and utilities. Like I said before, government raises taxes or imposes fees, businesses raise prices too. The only problem is there's so many idiots in the US that think when a democrat says higher taxes for the rich it means it's a good thing and has no effect on him, but only the rich, and when you try to explain to them that it all rolls down hill he will go "rolls where now?, I dunno, just givie more govenment check so I can go store, buy food, and watch springer baby"

Why is nobody saying that minimum wage effects prices as well. If minimum wage goes up, employer can also raise prices to compensate, which leads to artificialy induced inflation, which means things cost more, which means less disposable income for me, which decreases my standard of living. It's the same thing as taking money away from my paycheck in taxes to give to someone else in wellfare, medicare, or to support their kids.

Soback replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Science, Technology & Health
Or, is it added to the water on purpose, but since someone is bound to find out that water contains prozac they are doing a pre-emptive strike in telling us that it's "filtered" through human waste and such. Well, here we go, population control. -

Eh, it's alright, think about it, no more complaints about global warming, I get my shot gun, build a cabin in the woods and shoot game for food, the weak die off, and civilzation rebuilds. Great stuff. -
LOL, that's not that much worse than what's happening in San Francisco, actually SF is worse than that.

If US still had people with backbone and brains none of this would have happened because he would've been executed a long long time ago. But hey, I guess everyone deserves a fair chance right, especially prior convicts who get out of jail after 11 years with records a mile long.

ROFL, I came from a cummunist country and guess what, they do have a flat tax which is taken out of your paycheck. And society pays for roads and other services because they USE them, what you are saying is I have to pay for public school because my kids might use it? That's bull, if they don't go to public school, I should pay less in taxes then my neighbor if his kids do use a public school. If you don't have a car do you still pay for regestration? The registration fee goes towards road maintenance, so shouldn't there be a child fee when he becomes of age and is attendint public school? Why do I have to pay for someone else? Hmmm. not a socialist or communist you say, yet you would love to spend the money I make on something that has nothing to do with me. Interesting because that's exactly how the socialist system works it takes from those who contribute and redistributes to everyone. While true capitalism only the ones who contribute enjoy the services and everyone else who doesn't has the opportunity of freedom to MAKE it if they don't then they don't. The socialist system doesn't care if you contribute or not you still benefit. LOL, now where's that part again where you say you are not a socialist or a communist? Thought so, you can say all you want but your views sum it up nicely. You keep yelling abortion this and abortion that, look, I don't give a damn, do you see me having kids without being able to afford them? If it's against your religion to have an abortion, fine go have kids, go have them all you want, I don't want to have to be obligated to feed them (in US nor Africa) just because you keep poping them out like a farm animal, that's your problem that shouldn't be pushed over on me. The only reason Bush speaks out against it is to speak his mind on it, and as far as I know you can still do that in this country, that includes the abortion, not only the opinion. What I do give a damn is when Kerry says he's going to raise taxes for the rich, I am not rich but I am not a retard and I know that when the rich feel the pinch they pass it on to the middle class which passes it on to the poor. Who do you think owns the business? If the owner of the business pays higher taxes he will just raise the prices to make up for that, now where do you think the taxes that Kerry wants to collect will go? FOR the INCREASE in social spending, now who's the socialist? So here's the simplest breakdown for you, Kerry raises taxes for the rich, the rich raise the prices to compensate for their profit margins, things cost more, I am left with less disposable income, I ask for a raise, if I get the raise, prices go up even more because now my employer spends more and there comes the profit margin again, with the raise that's more taxes I have to pay, so either way I end up with less disposable income, Kerry spends more on social programs which by the way will also cost him more because of the you guessed it those profit margins and higher labor costs. The true socialist way. On the other hand, if I don't utilize the services offered and don't have to pay for them I will have more money that I can invest, if I have a choice of pitching inn and supporting the homeless and I chose not to, I end up with more money, if I have a choice of feeding someone elses kids and I chose not to, I end up with more money. When I invest that money and am satisfied with all my bills covered, my house paid, education for my kids and food on my table all the things I <--- see me, not my neighbor, worked for and I decide that I have a little extra I can donate to the hungry or someone who couldn't make it for some reason, then I will. It shouldn't be up to the government to decide how much to take from me and who to give it to because that gives me less options and brings down MY quality of life, the life I try to make for myself by working hard for it, not depending on some hand out or government program. That's the true capitalistic way, I didn't come to this country to relive the birth of yet another socialist system, I came here to make my life and the life of my kids better, and notice how I said MY LIFE, not my neighbors or yours or anyone elses, because like I said before, I am not the one having 10 kids and I am don't own anyone else a living. "Soback you talk about people being given money for having kids. So I want to take this logic forward ok? OK, so we have a nation that does not support abortion but allows for it. Nobody that is pro-choice is pro baby killing, that is just absurd. They just say that if a woman wants to do this, they believe she has a right. NOW, on the other side of the argument you have this President equating it with murder. OK so now abortion is made illegal and we have unwanted children being born. I'm sorry but I see enough resentment such as you have exhibited, in that if you have these babies you damn well better take care of them YOURSELF. Now, how the hell are you going to take care of all of these unwanted kids that won't be reared with love or anything that you and I might take for granted? Where is the logic in MAKING women that don't want children have them? Meanwhile in Africa there are WAY TOO MANY babies being born and we don't want to send the money over there to support them but we OPPOSE giving these people birth control. I'm sorry the logic is JUST SO DAMN FLAWED. They just shouldn't have sex? Wow now that's reasonable and feasible isn't it?" See, that's my point, you obviously missed my post. Why do I have to send money to Africa to support their children? Why do I have to give them birth control? I DON'T OWN THEM ANYTHING, Nor do I own the people in this country a living or support of their kids, like always you replied without facts, your whole argument is based on "poor kids" my argument is based on I make the money therefore I should be able to save it for my kids not have it taken away by the government to support someone elses. The money I make should provide for MY kids, not my neighbors.
